20/10/2025: I've been to the Casermette del Penna refuge several times for refreshments and have noticed a very familiar and welcoming atmosphere... extremely kind and helpful staff; the cold cuts and cheese platters and aperitifs are excellent, as are the craft beers, on tap or for sale in bottles, which I bought and, according to my dad, are delicious... (I don't usually drink beer); the thick hot chocolate is excellent! The environment is all wooden with a wonderful view of Mount Penna! I have a house in Santo Stefano 'Aveto, but I would really like to experience sleeping in this refuge, I found the atmosphere very warm and pleasant!

11/09/2025: Nice site, but the menu isn't up to par due to the crowds. Avoid during summer holidays.

24/09/2025: I ordered a half-meter pizza with sausage and fries for €24 instead of the €18 price of a Margherita. On the receipt, I paid €24 for the pizza with fries, plus two portions of fries for €7. Total for the pizza with fries was €31. There are definitely not two portions of fries on a half-meter of pizza, but only one, and in any case, the pizza with fries already has a €6 surcharge, which should justify both the sausage and the fries. And to top it off, when we got home, we were very thirsty and drank a lot of water all night, a sign of poor leavening. It was a terrible experience; we felt cheated; we won't eat there again on principle. Let's see if anyone here will deign to explain how something like this is possible.

15/10/2025: We were sat outside. The atmosphere was similar to sitting in a parking lot in Glendale. It is impossible to taste food when breathing nothing but car fumes. DO NOT SIT OUTSIDE!!!

13/10/2025: Great food,great service.We loved our waiter Roberto.We were from the USA,but I wad born in Calabria.He gave us an after dinner drink,called Jefferson, wich is from Calabria.My husband and I,My best friend and her husband, had a memorable evening. 26/09/2025: Excellent trattoria in Quiliano, 3 km from the sea. Weekday business lunches are €12, with the option of off-menu options for an additional charge. Reservations are required for Saturday and Sunday dinners and lunches, and during the week, menus can be arranged in advance. From May to July, the menu specializes in excellent traditional snail lunches. In the fall, local mushrooms are available, and the ravioli are delicious. Lunch prices range from €25 to €40.

22/09/2025: A typical trattoria with a very good, tasty pizza selection. The pizzas are crispy and not too thick. Lunch menu features a changing selection, always freshly prepared. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are very friendly.

20/09/2025: We went for family dinner. There were ten of us, including two children. We had to wait at least half an hour, starting with the appetizer, and then things got worse. After almost an hour and a half, we still hadn't eaten the main course...not even the children were brought first. When we complained, the staff, especially one waiter, were very rude. The food was good; the only other issue was that the individual portions were generous. If you ordered multiple portions of the same dish, like the linguine we ordered, or the fried food, it was served on a single plate and had to be shared, resulting in significantly smaller portions. Overall, despite the good quality of the food, I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend it.

03/11/2025: Delicious meat. We had the Tomahawk steak from Piedmontese veal (1.5 kg) 😅 and the beef fillet. Both tasted excellent.

05/10/2025: The pastry shop's display is very attractive, with a wide selection. I'm not a big fan of sweets, but everything I've tasted so far has been delicious and beautiful. Congratulations!

08/07/2025: I returned to this place for Sunday lunch, and what can I say? Once again, the quality of the food and management was evident! Excellent dishes, refined in both flavor and presentation. Impeccable. The location is truly charming, with a breathtaking open view. A huge thank you to the managers Laura, Simona, and Alice, as well as to chef Giancarlo. We'll definitely be back again to enjoy a pleasant summer evening, with a pleasant temperature thanks to the green hills surrounding the villa.
