Tried the baci di dama from here and they were amazing. Fresh and you could really taste the quality. I would love to come back and try other pastries!

I rarely go to Genoa, but breakfast at Tagliafico is a must—the quality is top notch. Not to mention the white crests worn by the ladies at the counter...I hope they keep this delicious tradition!

Plain, cocoa, whole wheat French croissants. A truly amazing chance discovery: I remember that Tagliafico is one of the most renowned pastry shops in Genoa. Well, these croissants are sold for 1.60. Finally, a sign of honesty, given the out-of-control prices of bars and makeshift pastry shops. Amazing.

Pasticceria Tagliafico is a true institution in the East Genoa area and definitely worth a visit. The brioches are delicious, made with great care, but the real surprise for me was the Genoese: soft as a cloud, light and irresistible.
As soon as you enter, you can sense the history of a business that has managed to maintain its identity and its connection to the neighborhood over time.
A tip for those who want to try it: if you go on a weekend morning, be prepared for a long line.

Very good cappuccino, I didn't like the brioche, I thought it was filled with chocolate but instead only the dough was chocolate, I was a little disappointed 😞

I've been a customer for many years and I have to say the quality of the products is excellent, though the pastries at the coffee counter are perhaps a little small...
As for the staff, about whom I occasionally hear complaints, I find them to be excellent, just like the products. They work incredibly hard, trying to please everyone with kindness and professionalism. And I have to say that when faced with certain pretentious and rude customers (and there are some! I swear!) they don't react... but if it happens sometimes, it's only human. The customer isn't always right, especially those who think they're "who knows who!"
