Ristorante Nazionale In Noli

This was our first time at this restaurant...what can I say? Excellent dinner featuring the freshest seafood, very friendly staff, and a very quiet place. We'll see you again in September when we return to Noli.

We were so pleasantly surprised last evening with our experience at Ristorante Nazionale. 5 minutes into our experience there, we knew we were in a special place. From the clearly joyous welcoming to the brightness in the eyes of the waitresses, to the quality of the different types of fresh-caught fish that were brought to the table for us to choose from (nothing smelled “fishy”), and the exceptional flavors of every dish we tried,we basked in the pleasant, relaxed atmosphere (my wife actually made the comment to the owner that we “felt welcomed into your home”. This clearly is a destination restaurant. Meaning I would drive 2030 minutes to get to this restaurant again, and again. Couldn’t recommend it higher.

An excellent dinner! The owner immediately welcomed us and presented a wide selection of the day's fresh catch. We started with a selection of appetizers, all excellent and tasty, followed by the first courses, all perfectly cooked. The quality of the products was excellent, and the staff was professional and knowledgeable. One person was celiac, and the staff offered alternatives for her. We will definitely be back!

I went there last night for dinner with my husband. We really enjoyed it! In the dining room, Romina is caring, cheerful, attentive, and friendly, but never intrusive; she creates a pleasantly welcoming and familiar atmosphere. In the kitchen, Carlo selects and emphasizes high-quality ingredients, the freshest fish (brought whole to your table before cooking it...amazing), homemade pasta rolled just before cooking, and local, seasonal vegetables. Having been informed a little in advance of my vegetarian choice, the chef prepared a special artichoke-based menu for me: amazing grilled artichokes and fresh tagliolini with artichokes for €10. My husband chose the tasting menu, which featured a wide variety of dishes, and was also very satisfied. The price is very fair for the quality and attention to detail of the food, the service, and the ambiance.

We tried the restaurant this evening. I don't think we'll ever go back. Not because of the quality of the food, which I'd say is excellent, but because of the price-quality ratio. It's shameful to charge 20 euros for a plate of small grilled squid with a few vegetables. Poor service; the cutlery was never changed; in fact, the waitress gave me back the fork I'd left on my plate... but I paid 3 euros for the cover charge! I felt like I was being ripped off.

Dinner at the end of February. The atmosphere was welcoming and refined, the service friendly, and the food excellent. The presentation of the fish caught that same day was beautiful.
