14/06/2025: Abbiamo notato il titolare fare del sarcasmo letteralmente alle spalle di un cliente che indugiava davanti al frigo dei gelati. Una scena come questa non solo si scontra con le tante foto autocelebrative sulla parete ma fa davvero dubitare sul rispetto che si dovrebbe avere nei confronti del cliente. Per il resto abbiamo ordinato delle focacce che non hanno incontrato il nostro gusto. Lo consiglio a chi ricerca un locale con tavoli ed aria condizionata vicino l'università.

09/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un almuerzo casual en un par de ocasiones en HB Café, tanto como era conveniente para nuestro hotel, el personal era muy amable y lo más importante, la comida era buena. A la llegada nos sentaron rápidamente y nos dieron menús. Había un montón de platos para elegir, pero seleccionamos una sabrosa pizza de anchoa para tener con nuestro Campari Spritz. Había una opción de sentarse dentro o fuera de la calle - lado; nos sentamos fuera para ver el "desfile de paso". Los precios eran razonables.

17/10/2025: I was a regular at this place, coming often and even recommending it to friends and family. Unfortunately, this year was a disaster. All the female staff were incredibly rude and impolite, a rare display of disrespect. It's a real shame, because the place has a beautiful setting and a great atmosphere. Even my relatives, who had started frequenting on my recommendation, noticed the same problem. It's truly disappointing: how can they hire people like that? In the end, we decided not to return.

18/08/2025: Aperitif dinner for 11 people, €20 each. The food was either completely precooked or not seasonal (pretzels, croquettes, pizzas, spicy salami), in enormous quantities, but nothing fresh. Considering the price and the summer heat, something fresh was definitely missing; so little would have sufficed (a cold pasta dish, a rice salad). Considering this is Liguria, a bit of sardenaira or torta verde would have been a nice touch.

24/11/2025: I'll start by saying it's not my kind of music, and I went here for a party with friends. The line to get in is a bit long, but it moves quickly, there are several steps, and security is good. The coat check line, on the other hand, is long and chaotic for no reason, too messy, and the wait times are incredibly long. Drink prices are obviously high. I don't judge the music because it's not my kind of music. I don't know if it was too crowded the night I went, but there's constant jostling and you can't sit still and enjoy the evening for more than two minutes. Could be much improved.

03/10/2025: Excellent decor. To my surprise, the latte was less than 2 euros. Seeing the location, I thought it would be more expensive. It seems they bake their own food. They have very attractive and appetizing products.

27/09/2025: Extremely rude, a 40-year Panarello customer, I asked on Saturday morning for a small Panarello cake with zabaglione for the next day. Nothing particularly strange, the classic cake with the classic filling (which they always have in single portions), no strange request, simply one of their classics. Nothing, "you can order, but without the filling." Click. Maybe I should have called a week in advance? I'm speechless; a bakery that supplies so many stores just couldn't make a cake for 6 people with their classic filling. Too little notice, perhaps, or too small. Zero professionalism. Too bad that at another store in the center I was told it's unacceptable that the bakery can't prepare a filled cake if ordered the day before... make an agreement and be more polite with customers. The filled cake is finished. I bet if I'd ordered it from Panarello in Milan they'd have made it for me.

24/08/2025: We came back specifically for pasta and clams, but it was really, really bad. Spaghettini (???!! I've never seen pasta and clams with the very fine ones) were also undercooked. There was no seafood flavor, really disappointing! The quality/price ratio was out of proportion. Too bad. I made a bad impression on the people I brought.

24/08/2025: Dated restaurant, if you pay by card it seems like they are doing you a favor, unreadable receipts and very long waiting times, rude and uninterested owner, not a good choice at all, I strongly advise against it

02/08/2025: Rude staff, old and reused appetizer food. I pay, politely greet the cashier (the only nice one), and am chased by the rest of the staff, who loudly ask me whether I've paid or not.

02/08/2025: Unprofessional service, old and reused aperitif food, in addition to having paid in advance, when I get up to leave the pseudo waiter chases me shouting asking if we have paid: I went back to the bar and showed him the receipt

10/09/2025: Nice place, shame it's very neglected and the service leaves a lot to be desired. I can say I wouldn't go back...

15/11/2025: First day: €2 cappuccino. The next day: €2.50. Then, later that day: €3! 😅 Your cappuccinos are excellent, but seriously, we tourists aren't here to be ripped off. A little transparency wouldn't hurt!

10/11/2025: Two stars not for the undoubtedly high-quality cheese and cured meat platter... but for the two Spritzes we ordered, which were barely worth the €10 each. The total for the platter, certainly not generous, and two Spritzes was €36.

30/07/2025: Esperienza deludente: la signora alla cassa era sempre al telefono a parlare dei fatti suoi e ignorava completamente i clienti. Mi ha dato l’impressione di essere di troppo. Per fortuna le due ragazze al banco sono state gentilissime, sorridenti e professionali. Solo grazie a loro non me ne sono andata subito.

21/07/2025: Posto molto accogliente, abbiamo mangiato bene,siamo la pizza che le rostelle buone,la carne da cuocere un po' meglio,ma ottima,il responsabile molto gentile, è ovvio che come nuova gestione i prezzi siano un po' aumentati,ma si mangia veramente bene,e sono convinto che il responsabile saprà organizzare il personale nel migliore dei modi...

19/11/2025: This place is a scam They refused to give receipt when asked. Only the ATM, no breakdown Ordered a coffee americano, toastie and a Panini, the prices should be 3, 6, and 8 (mind you, is already more expensive than most other places) They charged 19 in total. So combined with the refusal to give breakdown receipt screams scam. Panini was rather stale and very hard, I'm glad I have decent teeth to fight it. And in case of robbery it could act as an weapon, I can see it cracking some skulls. Coffee was meh. It's drinkable. Unfortunately it's the only place nearby open early in the morning but you'll be better off training to another town and actually get something decent without being charged tourist tax.

21/09/2025: The atmosphere and service were excellent, but the food... hard bread, disgusting and unmelted cheese, the menu says one type of cheese and a nice bun and another, a small bug came out of my burger, I'm speechless...
