30/08/2024: Visit on 9 August 2024 after having spent a lifetime in San Fruttuoso when since the times when a certain "Garibaldi" with kindness and humility led to the Christ of the Abyss still with the wisdom of someone born modest. Twenty minutes to ask for information on a possible place with the owner constantly on the phone and no one else to consider us (perhaps because I was accompanied by a minor). Obviously no place, we then move on to the request for an umbrella and two deckchairs certainly managed by the same property because the answer is from the same manager, nothing special, no additional service other than the free one of the view of the most disparate cove. We are past half a day and I am asked for €80 for those two deckchairs which in a month will be worth €20. The receipts for the two seats are optional for Americans who arrive half an hour later, but for those who undertake such a journey, not stopping in front of such a price and an amount without a receipt is a trifle. Who knows what they will think, however, of the typical Italian cunning where a disparity in tariffs fluctuates too much between the 'low' moments for us and those of the lemons to squeeze. Bad memory of a place that is still among the most beautiful and which we hope will also be preserved by these episodes.

23/11/2024: Un grand plaisir renouvelé chaque fois que nous venons dans ce restaurant au bord de l’eau. Cette fois-ci nous avons opté pour un menu tout viande. Le « filetto bue grasso » est une merveille et la joue braisée succulente. Service impeccable et personnel très agréable. Une escapade qui en vaut la peine.

08/12/2024: Quando siamo a Savona veniamo spesso al circolo ed ogni volta usciamo soddisfatti. Il menu è vario ed è ogni volta arricchito dai piatti del giorno. Le porzioni abbondanti. Il servizio semplice, attento e flessibile, ed il prezzo giusto, sono una costante. La cornice del porto è l'ambientazione interna lo caratterizzano particolarmente. Da provare!

09/11/2024: Un bel posticino. Un voto in più per il titolare ed il personale, sempre piacevoli. Ottimo menù con piatti abbondanti. Interessante rapporto qualità prezzo. Da provare!

22/09/2024: Nice environment, friendly staff, good food...BUT in the end THEY got the bill wrong and made us pay more, I asked for a refund, the lady redid the bill 3 times and every time a different result came out! they were celebrating and you can see she was happy, she gave me €20 back, even though it was double! She threw the money on the counter and was very angry!... NEVER AGAIN!!!!

02/01/2025: This was the worst meal we had in Italy. The pizza was not like any others we had in Italy. No flavor and dry. The carbonara was poorly made. It seems that the egg curdled and there were pieces of scrambled egg in the pasta.

02/12/2024: We went an hour and a half before closing and they still didn't treat us very well and asked us to go earlier next time. We ate noodles and had an aperitif and spent almost €30.

14/12/2024: It's not the first time this has happened, I ask for a takeaway sandwich WITHOUT salad and, as soon as I get home, guess what? I understand that I can remove it but that's still not the way to work. It's a shame because the sandwich itself is delicious but they need to be more careful!

25/08/2024: My experience wasn't that terrible, however such a restaurant is difficult to fully appreciate. The owner is a kind-hearted person who I don't feel like criticizing, although his attitude might be exaggerated for some, the place is confusing and full of objects of all types. The fixed menu was okay overall, in the end the price was not exaggerated for the quantity and variety offered. If you are unpretentious you could spend a nice evening with a friendly waiter who tells you the stories of the objects he collects, but I recognize that many would be uncomfortable in such a situation

10/11/2024: Locale caratteristico, in sintonìa con il pittoresco borgo di Boccadasse, arredamento essenziale, menu vario, con curiosi piatti legati alla cucina ligure, discreta la presentazione ed il gusto, carta vini limitata e non disponibile, in quanto vengono elencati ed eventualmente consigliati da una delle tre cameriere, probabilmente munita di corso da sommelier, dessert senza fama e senza lode, asciutto il tiramisù e servito a fredda temperatura, personale gentile ma poco professionale, consueta caratteristica ligure, una nostra amica per motivi di lavoro ha purtroppo subìto un ritardo nel raggiungerci, chiaramente abbiamo informato il personale non appena entrati che sarebbe arrivata alle 21,30/45 ma…nostro malgrado ogni 15 minuti chiedevano a punto fosse, suggerendoci infine di leggergli il menu al telefono, in modo che potesse scegliere un piatto e prepararglielo, per poi riscaldarlo al suo arrivo! Comprensibile che la cucina osservi orari specifici, ma essendo l’unico ritardo così anomalo della serata, della settimana, o forse dell’intero autunno…sarebbe stato a loro più utile gestirlo con quella diplomazia che conquista il cliente e lo incita a fare ritorno! 12/10/2024: Dans une jolie cour. Le vin blanc vermentino était très bon et les pastas excellentes. Nous avons pris les pansoti et les cortecce.

23/06/2024: Ottimo posto, confortevole, personale gentile . Abbiamo festeggiato un compleanno. Cibo di ottima qualità. Ci torneremo sicuramente.
