23/09/2025: If only we could give a 0: we entered the bar and ordered two coffees at the counter because we were in a hurry and didn't want to sit down. We were told they didn't offer counter service. After consuming our food outside, I went to pay the bill with my phone's wallet, which, due to security settings, sometimes requires you to enter a PIN on your phone after placing your phone on the POS terminal you're using. At the moment, I let out a completely innocent joke in front of the guy doing the bill, saying that my device sometimes doesn't process payments. He and his colleagues laughed about it, sarcastically pointing out that, of course, it was the device's fault, as if to call me a poor girl who can't afford to pay. All of them are beyond reproach, not to mention that they work thanks to the unfortunate customers who shell out large sums for a place (I agree with the other reviews, of a filthiness I've rarely seen in similar circumstances) and totally unspeakable service.

20/09/2025: Food is limited, prices are high. If there are bands playing and you come in after dinner, they'll charge a mandatory €10 drink, as if it were some sort of disguised entrance fee, even if you're only staying for half an hour. Not recommended.

05/10/2025: Squalid place. I don't even know where to begin. I'll start with the service. The people working the tables are completely incompetent, wandering around in a confused manner, while you wait for them to take your order. After waiting about 10-15 minutes, you're forced to call them yourself, otherwise you might have to wait until tomorrow. A polite customer usually waits for the waiter to take their order and doesn't shout "excuse me!" from one side of the room to the other, because they respect the people working there and recognize that they're not minding their own business, but they are, indeed, working. But here, if you don't call, no one will come. The waiters never know who's been served and who hasn't, and this is a symptom of the disorganization that reigns in this place. Some waiters are kind, if incompetent, and even seem to be trying their hardest despite the obvious difficulties. Others are unpleasant, especially the bald guy—I don't know if he's the owner or a waiter himself—who is intolerably rude and impolite. At the counter I once asked, "What drinks do you have?" and was answered with a surprised tone, "I don't know, Coke, Sprite." I don't understand what's so surprising about this request. A customer might want a drink that's a little different from the more commercial ones, and where else but at a bar can they make this request? The food is embarrassing; most of it is frozen or pre-cooked. I don't know how you can possibly serve those chicken wings and mixed fried fish you put in your aperitifs—I'd be ashamed—on top of all the rest of the stuff, which is always stale and unappetizing. The bread in the sandwiches isn't reheated and is sometimes even frozen. At this point, I don't see why I should eat a sandwich at a bar when I can get five of the same ones for the same price, if the bread isn't even slightly toasted. The prices border on theft. For example, a bag of chips and a fruit juice at the beach club cost €5. But the height of this theft is the cover charge, which is charged to those who sit down and perhaps even pay rent for the entire season. A coffee and a water are €3.30, including a 50-cent cover charge, but how can you expect a customer not to get pissed off or want to come back? The loungers are all tied together, the showers are constantly broken. We're not even ready for the beach. I'll conclude by saying that the whole thing seems very improvised: two chairs on a terrace and then everything else is more or less as it is. It seems like a sea view can excuse everything. As if the customer were a fool who could just stare at the sea for a moment and be treated like a fool. But it shouldn't be that way. Service and food should be up to par with the place, you'd earn more, and the customer would come back again. The fault isn't with the employees, who, poor things, are just clueless people who find themselves doing something no one ever taught them; the fault lies with the owners, who cut prices on everything and whose sole purpose seems to be to fleece the tourist. Go somewhere else.

28/09/2025: An experience not to be repeated. The food was average. The drinks were almost gold, a chinotto costing €4.50 and a tonic water costing €3.50. The biggest sore point is the service: 1) The waitress is rude and unhelpful, as you can tell right away when she decides to throw the placemats at you to set the table. 2) When ordering, when you ask for specifics about the type of tonic water, you're not given any information, but you're immediately dismissed with a "Hey, I'll bring you whatever's available!" 3) If you're eating a sandwich, you can't ask for cutlery because, as they quote, "you don't need it to eat a sandwich." As if the waitress should decide how you eat your sandwich. 4) You need to have a bottle opener with you because the drinks arrive unopened. (When I subsequently asked to open the door, it was promptly served, taking care not to ask the waitress but the young man, who proved to be the most friendly and helpful.) It's a shame about the truly poor service, because the view is beautiful and the food is average.

26/09/2025: Eating at Monica's was a wonderful experience. A super-sweet woman who unfortunately drinks a bit too much. But she cooks fantastically. I can recommend it to everyone; just go for it.

04/09/2025: Absolutely avoid! While volunteers are busy collecting trash from the beach and water, the owners of this place dump it directly into the sea. A total disgrace, these people have no respect for the environment or their customers. Disgusting!

05/07/2025: Appena entrata ho notato agitazione e caos come quando arrivano in casa ospiti inattesi.Il locale è molto spartano. Il piatto che mi è rimasto impresso è un secondo di calamari bolliti mescolati casualmente con delle erbette biologiche salatissime. Anche i primi erano totalmente slegati dal condimento. I dessert non pervenuti... sarà il loro sogno ma per me è stato un vero flop.

28/09/2025: This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. It was an unparalleled disgrace. We ordered food, but one of the two orders was forgotten. When we asked, a plastic container of ready-made pasta was put into the microwave. €15 for this is unbelievable. The place should be shut down.

09/09/2025: A terrible mess. To say "price doesn't match the quality" is like saying nothing at all. The pizza was reheated in the microwave, hot on the edges, and served cold inside. The waiters don't speak English very well. When I asked for the pizza to be reheated, the lady got offended. The ham and pesto toast—the cheese was melted, the ham was cold inside, also tasteless. "I don't recommend it" is an understatement. It's a money-making machine with no quality whatsoever. It's better to go hungry.

27/09/2025: ⭐ 1/5 **Absolutely avoid – a real tourist trap!** We were in Ventimiglia to do our shopping, and the owner literally begged us to come into her restaurant. What a disappointment! * Appetizer without any tapas or side dishes. * Spaghetti alle vongole: tiny portion, a sauce that was nothing but water, practically no clams. * Spaghetti frutti di mare: the mussels served were all closed, almost no seafood. * Basket of dry bread. A restaurant not worth the detour, even less worth the price paid. A very disappointing experience that I highly discourage. ⭐ 1/5 **Cooking lesson… in water!** Appetizer with nothing, pasta with "clear water" sauce, mussels as closed as the kitchen, bread as dry as the bill. A real tourist trap: it’s better to keep going, even on an empty stomach!🥵

23/10/2025: 1.5 stars, an Italian record. For a simple coffee, I didn't think to check the reviews first. If they know you're having coffee, they'll make you leave the table because they only care about those who are eating. In reality, there were many foreign tourists drinking coffee, but they hope you'll have something else. At the bar across the street, they welcomed us at the same price, but at least they were kind. If you don't want coffee served at 11:50, let me know.

23/10/2025: We weren't that hungry and wanted to share one pizza. However, we only got one large plate and one set of cutlery. According to our bill, that would have been €14 for the pizza and €2 for the cutlery (which leaves a lot to be desired). When we paid with a €20 note, the waiter (see picture) made no attempt to give us our change. Then he came back with €2 and claimed the other €2 was for the service, which made us stunned. The pizza wasn't great either; the crust was absolutely soft. The whole atmosphere of the city was ruined... Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

04/08/2025: Never experienced such poor and miserable service and a hotel. One star is a disgrace. The rooms were dirty. When asked if they could provide a wine glass for the apartment, the arrogant reply was that there were already glasses in the kitchen. The pool also seems to be open to the public: a horde of young men from the neighborhood are loudly milling around the pool, chasing away the paying guests. Here, too, the reception has no interest in doing anything about it. There were no towels, and when we asked for them, we were treated disrespectfully. I can't recommend this accommodation to anyone. Horror instead of relaxation.

30/07/2025: Very bad experience. Old building, poorly maintained, elevators didn't work...we had to carry our bags up to the 4th floor. The apartment had no air conditioning, towels, soap, or toilet paper, much less housekeeping. The TV was the size of my tablet and, to top it all off, didn't work. Furthermore, the reception and restaurant/bar were only open from 3 to 7 p.m....there was no staff to contact. The nightly rate is very high for what they offer. Shame!

10/05/2025: I was rather disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The portions served were really small and the staff lacked friendliness and warmth. The pizza was the only decent dish, but for the rest, the value for money was not there. In addition, the dishes displayed outside did not match those offered inside, and there was no menu available, which made the choice difficult. As for dessert, the only one offered was a slice of apple cake, served unevenly; the selection is very limited. The restrooms are located outside the restaurant and were not very clean. Unfortunately, I do not think I will return.

14/04/2025: Smiling and fast service but frankly the carbonara pasta for €13 is nothing and it's not very good. When we left the restaurant, we had to complete our meal with sliced ​​pizzas to satisfy our hunger. Very disappointed. Regarding the pizza it's okay but nothing more.
