03/01/2025: The freshness of the food is certainly guaranteed. Having said that, as someone who likes to eat well, I would say that the food in this restaurant is excellent. Surely everyone has their own tastes but knowing how to range from excellent fish starters, first and second courses of fresh fish, to starters of cured meats with focaccette, first courses of meat, mixed grills and sliced ​​meat to glide over pizzas and calzones which I also dream of night….. Well I would say that the Trieste Restaurant is an experience worth trying. The owners with their collaborators will then be able to confirm what is written with their kindness 😋!

24/10/2024: Arriving there a bit by chance, we came away delighted! They offer pizzes, most of which cost 9 euros, with very thin and very good dough. There are also 2 menus, at 25 and 30 euros. And it’s worth it!!! That of 25 offers the choice between 2 starters (including spaghetti with clams), 2 dishes (either sea bream or grilled sea bass, or fried fish served with a whole plate of fries and one of raw vegetables), a dessert (Limone gelato, a very good lemon granita), a coffee and a quarter of wine. The waitresses are very friendly and speak English. Family restaurant with local flavor, in its own right but authentic! A sign of good value for money, the restaurant is almost full of locals during the week out of season (the other restaurants were, conversely, almost empty).

10/11/2024: Elegant but sober venue, with a view of the port from above. We celebrated my fiftieth birthday with my family a month ago with a tasting menu. Great attention to carefully selected local raw materials. Dishes that are based on local tradition but revisited to enhance the flavors with always innovative combinations of fish and vegetables. Very attentive and easy-going staff in describing the dishes, their genesis and the young chef's philosophy. Unforgettable evening among exceptional wines and a sequence of surprises dish after dish with ecstatic desserts. Advised.

01/10/2024: Romantic dinner with my wife, we have already been to other high-level or starred restaurants and I must say that it is the first time that we have found ourselves disappointed by the quantities on the plate compared to the final price. The tasting menu is undoubtedly made up of top quality ingredients, they were very attentive to my food allergy, but seeing the quantities served to those who ordered "a la carte" I must say that a middle ground between the portions and a little more than generosity for those who choose a complete path would be more appropriate. Nothing to say about the impeccable service, highly trained sommelier but in the end the bill undergoes a surge mainly due to the fact of being in Portofino. To give you an idea, we paid more than in some 2 Michelin star restaurants we have been to. Furthermore, the place had some imperfections that shouldn't be there if we're talking about a restaurant linked to the name of Cracco (some chains of LED lights detached, soap in the men's bathroom ran out at the start of service). Unfortunately I would not return.

01/12/2024: Sconsigliato, conto salatissimo per 4 pezzi di focaccia e 1 piatto di pasta. Focaccia congelata al centro, molti piatti del menù non disponibili, conto veramente esagetaro 87,00€.

28/11/2024: Esperienza pessima. Due cappuccini e due brioche banalissime ... totale 10 euro! Un furto! E consideriamo pure che non avevano latte o bevande vegetali (incredibile comunque ai giorni nostri!) altrimenti chissà cosa avremmo speso in più! Bar da dimenticare

22/08/2024: Ottimo tutto dal servizio al cibo. Bel ristorante sulla passeggiata di Rapallo. Gentili, accoglienti, sempre sul pezzo! Pesce e carne eccellenti, mozzarella in carrozza da urlo, cozze gustose, tutto giusto anche il prezzo. Siamo clienti fissi oramai da tempo e non ci deludono mai. Tutti bravi e tutto buono! Lo consiglio perché non è il solito ristorante turistico di un luogo di mare ma una gestione familiare attenta e di livello. Bravi!

21/08/2024: Siamo capitati sotto consiglio della reception di un hotel in questo ristorante/pizzeria. Partiamo del personale.. scortesi e poca professionalità, chi lavora a contatto con la gente deve sempre mostrare entusiasmo e voglia in ciò che sta facendo. Io e il mio ragazzo partiamo con l’ordinare due birre medie e due semplici pizze, l’attesa per due birre è stata infinita, ma forse era meglio che non fossero mai arrivate.. birra allungata con l’acqua! Dopo 45 minuti che eravamo seduti finalmente arriva la nostra pizza.. prodotti scadenti, sicuramente non erano di prima qualità! per chi vuole mangiare in un ristorante con poca serietà sicuramente lo consiglierei, altrimenti troverei sicuramente di meglio!

06/11/2024: I ate delicious pizza here. The pizza has a lot of toppings, I am especially pleased with the prosciutto pizza. I’ll also note that it’s only one street closer to the sea, food is more expensive than here. And the quality here is probably even better

12/12/2024: Got a €4.99 bag with TooGoodToGo, plentiful and of excellent quality! Pizza by the slice with multiple flavours, small pizzas, focaccia with cheese, Genoese focaccia and sweets, all delicious (I attach photos)... I will definitely return!!! Quick and kind service.

08/12/2024: They took over a historic business, completely destroying the bakery's prestige. Before writing this review, I purchased here four more times, to make sure it wasn't an isolated episode, but unfortunately a real change in quality is evident, and for the worse. The pastries, often days old, are sold as fresh; the focaccia is inedible, and the ingredients are of poor quality. All this is unacceptable, also considering that the prices are significantly higher than under the previous management. This is not just a worsening, but a real insult to the tradition and quality of Genoese bakeries.

14/12/2024: Every dish was really delicious and staff was super nice and friendly (as most Genovese are!). Location is clearly off the beaten track, but was totally worth a 15min walk in a beautiful Carignano neighborhood.

29/12/2024: Reservé en Giotto para celebrar nuestro aniversario de bodas y el cumpleaños de mi esposa, creyendo que seguramente le daría a mi amada esposa una experiencia única. En las dos llamadas telefónicas realizadas durante la fase de reserva, cuando el personal de recepción del hotel Bristol contestó (ambas veces una persona diferente) , especifiqué que se trataba de una cena especial, y necesitaba un arreglo floral en la mesa y un pequeño pastel. También me preguntaron si teníamos alguna alergia alimentaria en particular, y el mensaje se transmitiría al chef. Desafortunadamente, cuando llegamos al restaurante, nada de lo que me prometieron por teléfono estaba en su lugar 😔 No había decoración floral en la mesa y ninguno de los empleados sabía del pastel, incluido el chef. Me ofrecieron una copa de vino como disculpa inmediata, cuando llegó la factura. La comida era promedio. Así que estábamos muy molestos ya que nuestro aniversario se arruinó... Tenía muchas ganas de hacer feliz a mi esposa en esta ocasión especial, pero en su lugar resultó ser como una noche regular... Muy mal lugar para celebrar su ocasión romántica especial. . . Hay una evidente falta de comunicación y el personal no se preocupa realmente por su petición especial, a pesar de que cuando llamé y pregunté, la recepcionista dijo que todo se haría para nuestro día especial... NO recomiendo este restaurante especialmente para sus celebraciones especiales.

18/12/2024: Cena di coppia per il mio compleanno!!! IMBARAZZANTE!! I camerieri gentili ed imbarazzati per il servizio che hanno dovuto proporre. Antipasti : tartare che doveva essere con cruble di parmiggiano arrivata senza alla mia richiesta come mai,i camerieri non sapevano nulla e dalla cucina la risposta è stata non è arrivato. Primi: la gentile cameriera ci racconta che su 5 primi 2 non li preparano e il terzo viene modificato con altri prodotti. Secondi: chiedo un carrè di agnelo con flan di carciofi ...niente i carciofi non ci sono vorrei sottolinenare che in questa stagione il carciofo è un prodotto principe e qundi ripiegano su degli spinaci oppure su patatine fritte. La mia domanda è possibile che in un Hotel a 5 stelle possano accadere queste cose?? INCREDIBILE ma vero. Mah mi aspettavo almeno un cenno da parte di qualche superiore e invece niente. Complimenti veramente pessimi e il mio compleanno rovinato Grazie e buone feste

23/11/2024: Ottima spadellata di calamaro in crema di patate, patatine stupende, manco in Germania si trovano così ;), birra rossa ottima e panna cotta meravigliosa. Ho mangiato davvero benissimo, grazie mille!
