02/09/2025: Noli, Bar dei Bagni Lido, the usual Ligurian hospitality Let me start by saying that I'm Ligurian, but I often have experiences in my region that lead me to believe that we're the worst in the world when it comes to tourism and hospitality. The undeniable beauty of these places is certainly not our merit and cannot be used as a carte blanche to fleece or mistreat customers or "foreigners," as those arriving from outside are disparagingly called. To get to the facts, yesterday afternoon, Sunday, September 22nd, I was in Noli with my wife, and in the evening we sat down at the Bagni Lido bar. I ordered a medium beer and asked for a non-alcoholic beer for my wife, at which they looked at me as if I were from Mars, but never mind. The place was empty; there were only three occupied tables at the time. I noticed that, along with their drinks, everyone was served a small plate of appetizers, and the same was true for the customers who arrived after us. When I went to pay, I asked why they hadn't brought me anything, and the answer was, "Oh well, we would have forgotten about it!" On top of that, a guy at the counter—I don't know if he was part of the staff or something else—literally started swearing at us. At this point, we felt surreal, with the sad realization that it was all real. We paid the bill and left, dismayed. The real issue in Liguria is that there's an almost complete lack of a workforce trained in tourism, as well as customer service. Being a good waiter or cook, like any other profession, requires study and experience; you can't improvise a hospitality business by placing incompetent staff at the tables, especially with these exorbitant prices! After this very negative experience at the bar with people who don't know how to do their job, when we enter the sea at the Lido beach, we can only hope that at least the lifeguard knows how to swim.

23/08/2025: I AM SPEECHLESS. The food is quite good, but the service time is terrible. Two hours to get food. They forget everything. A friend of mine waited almost an hour for a sandwich. They even have constant technical problems with the cash register and the POS. One incident that happened was when my cousins ​​who came from Brazil had to come to the tables on the beach because they weren't eating. In the end, they ate and there was no change. I want this bar to change, including the behavior of the manager. Only two waiters are kind, and I appreciate that. That said, I hope this bar changes.

21/08/2025: NB: Previous management... A great find. It's located on a quiet side of Moneglia's village. We had dinner. The sea bass ravioli and black tagliolini were really good. The meat was also excellent. Generous portions. Entrees included fried bread balls.

09/09/2025: A terrible mess. To say "price doesn't match the quality" is like saying nothing at all. The pizza was reheated in the microwave, hot on the edges, and served cold inside. The waiters don't speak English very well. When I asked for the pizza to be reheated, the lady got offended. The ham and pesto toast—the cheese was melted, the ham was cold inside, also tasteless. "I don't recommend it" is an understatement. It's a money-making machine with no quality whatsoever. It's better to go hungry.

04/05/2025: Troppo olio, troppo fritto e tropo tutto. Le trofie al pesto erano "annacquate di olio" e la pasta alle vongole non sapeva di nulla.

The pizza was the only decent dish, but for the rest, the value for money was not there. In addition, the dishes displayed outside did not match those offered inside, and there was no menu available, which made the choice difficult. As for dessert, the only one offered was a slice of apple cake, served unevenly; the selection is very limited. The restrooms are located outside the restaurant and were not very clean. Unfortunately, I do not think I will return.

14/04/2025: Smiling and fast service but frankly the carbonara pasta for €13 is nothing and it's not very good. When we left the restaurant, we had to complete our meal with sliced ​​pizzas to satisfy our hunger. Very disappointed. Regarding the pizza it's okay but nothing more.

04/08/2025: Never experienced such poor and miserable service and a hotel. One star is a disgrace. The rooms were dirty. When asked if they could provide a wine glass for the apartment, the arrogant reply was that there were already glasses in the kitchen. The pool also seems to be open to the public: a horde of young men from the neighborhood are loudly milling around the pool, chasing away the paying guests. Here, too, the reception has no interest in doing anything about it. There were no towels, and when we asked for them, we were treated disrespectfully. I can't recommend this accommodation to anyone. Horror instead of relaxation.

30/07/2025: Very bad experience. Old building, poorly maintained, elevators didn't work...we had to carry our bags up to the 4th floor. The apartment had no air conditioning, towels, soap, or toilet paper, much less housekeeping. The TV was the size of my tablet and, to top it all off, didn't work. Furthermore, the reception and restaurant/bar were only open from 3 to 7 p.m....there was no staff to contact. The nightly rate is very high for what they offer. Shame!

11/09/2025: Too bad we can't give it a ZERO!!! We ordered a Caprese salad. No olive oil, the tomato wasn't ripe, and it wasn't edible at all! They served the appetizer, including the "Caprese salad," supposedly the starter, at the same time as the escalope. We ordered a side of potatoes, which we never received, even after asking for it several times. No taste!!! Not appetizing! It almost felt like the food was stale. It didn't make us want to eat! So, we decided to pay and leave. Supposedly, after a little "goodwill gesture," since we couldn't eat anything, we had to pay €40. Except the payment terminal wasn't working!!! So, we had to run quickly to withdraw money from the ATM (a 10-minute walk, round trip, in the blazing sun, and... without getting the slightest "profit" for the €40). So, AVOID, FLEE, but above all, don't stop at this place!!!! Run away

09/05/2025: Nous avons choisis des pizzas, prix un peu élevé pour l’Italie , rapport qualité prix excessif eau à près de 6 euros , service 16 euros , café 2,90 euros , nous sommes pris pour des pigeons , la serveuse au moment de payer nous donnais l’impression qu’il fallait dégager au plus vite

03/05/2025: À fuir absolument ! J’ai commandé un soi-disant grand fritto misto à 27,90 € : portion minuscule, sans accompagnement ni sauce. J’ai dû ajouter une petite assiette de frites (surgelées !) pour 7 €. Le dessert, un Tiramisu banal, facturé 9,90 €. Et le pire : l’addition ! Un supplément de 15,14 € pour le service à deux (non précisé à l’avance), et un autre de 9 € dont personne n’a su nous expliquer la raison. J’ai dû demander à la serveuse de vérifier les montants. Une vraie arnaque. Rapport qualité-prix catastrophique. À éviter à tout prix !
