07/12/2025: I visited Trattoria Barisone after the recent change of management and was thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, and from the first moment you can sense the new energy and attention to detail. I started with ravioli al tocco, which released an incredibly inviting aroma: a rich, enveloping dish with a simply divine flavor. Next came a delicate swordfish carpaccio, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, perfect in its elegant simplicity. All this was accompanied by an excellent Lagrein, which perfectly rounded out the experience. The quality of the cuisine, combined with the kindness and professionalism of the service, makes the new management a true revelation. Trattoria Barisone is back, better than ever: highly recommended!

02/05/2026: My family, myself, my wife, and my disabled son, found ourselves in a completely welcoming environment!! The attention was never intrusive, yet always present. It's never "entitled to everything," and people who show this sensitivity in welcoming are a treasure for those accustomed to living with difficulties, even if they're on vacation and therefore feel lighthearted. Thank you so much.

20/04/2026: The treatment I received at the "restaurant" was 0-star. After more than an hour and a half of waiting, when I asked if they could at least try to bring trofie al pesto for my hungry 8-year-old son, the response was, "If he wants them raw, I can bring them." Rude, as well as incompetent. In a place like this, they're the ruin of themselves! The good news is that it won't make it to next season...

21/09/2025: Nice atmosphere but the stairs are impossible, the service is slow, and the food... A bug came out of the burger and the sandwiches look like they were made yesterday.

15/04/2026: If you're not a regular, they treat you with condescension and rudeness, and the food is truly terrible. For the price, it's absolutely not worth it.

07/03/2026: Tomorrow is Women's Day. The manager, or perhaps the owner, I'm not sure, has put together some little bags of chocolates for the holiday, very cute with mimosa. Too bad they put two little eggs inside (we're getting close to Easter), and, alas, some nougat condorelli and chocolates with hazelnuts left over from last Christmas. For a bar on Genoa's main street, in my opinion, this is a bit of a letdown... I hope even the most distracted people noticed this... And with the prices they have...

21/12/2025: We discovered this restaurant by chance. The food was average, considering the reasonable price of the €13 fixed lunch menu. Table service was quick and courteous, with very friendly and competent wait staff. It was unfortunate that the owner was unprofessional, rude, and even ignorant. She loudly scolded the waitresses in front of the customers, inappropriately and without any real reason. This behavior inevitably impacted the overall experience.

19/12/2025: Good food, excellent value. Very efficient and, above all, very kind staff, especially Eleonora and Juri who served me. The atmosphere is pleasant and well-kept.

04/05/2026: I grabbed a Margherita pizza to takeaway from here for just €8.50, and it was honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve had. I took it down to the beachfront and it was so lovely. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Italian food!

09/04/2026: We wouldn’t recommend! We tried the pizza there because it was the only place with a free table. The dough was good but rest was super bland.

05/04/2026: Overall, the dishes were good (especially the starters), but the main course we ordered (grilled) was too small for the price, with a few shrimp, a small fish fillet, an octopus tentacle, and a small squid (impossible to share). The service was extremely slow, with a wait of more than an hour and a half; many tables left without finishing their meals.

22/07/2025: Muy buena comida Recomiendo la pasta pesto - sin embargo, tenga en cuenta que el hombre de pie fuera del restaurante con sus gatos tratando de que las mujeres vayan a su lugar diciéndoles que puede cocinar para ellos. Realmente no me sentí el más seguro. . Fue un poco incómodo porque se quedó al lado de la cena al aire libre todo el tiempo.
