22/09/2025: I happened to be at the beach today! Hoping for a relaxing day!! But...unpleasant staff, poor customer service, hostile and unfriendly atmosphere!!! It's not as advertised...what more can I say...not recommended!!

09/11/2025: We reached the resort on foot, a walk of about 40 minutes facilitated by steps and ramps. It's worth trying at least once. Sleeping surrounded by nature and silence, a rare privilege these days. Highly recommended!

24/10/2025: The place is heavenly, the view and location are priceless. I'll start with this because I absolutely fell in love with it. Unfortunately, the hotel experience wasn't. The overall neglect of the place, with frayed curtains and crooked rods, slightly warped fake parquet floors, a plastic shower curtain, and questionable cleanliness. Given the difficulty in reaching the property (about 3 km of wonderful but not "easy" trail) with hundreds of steps and dirt roads, you're forced to dine in their restaurant, a room with a breathtaking view. There's a catch... the photos of the dishes published on the website don't reflect reality at all. We spent €100 for two people for a second course consisting of half a thin slice of swordfish, cooked to a slightly boiled effect, tossed on a base of bagged salad (a mix of radicchio and greens, very little), €27, along with two grilled eggplant and zucchini wafers. A cover charge of €7.50 each for pre-cooked sandwiches, half a liter of house wine (€15), a dessert such as Bindi, and a bitter liqueur. The red tablecloth was made of synthetic, non-iron material and wrinkled. In a place like this, I can pay even more for dinner, but everything has to be up to par. The same goes for breakfast, everything was defrosted and the cake was always packaged—€12 each. For a medium-sized dog, we paid €25 more (it was €35, which was a special price for us) than the price of the room booked through Booking.com, without having any utensils (a mat/bowl). As we very politely, merely as a suggestion, told the owner, simply charging high prices isn't enough to elevate the quality of the establishment; the factors that lead to that goal are multiple and interconnected. The exchange of opinions wasn't entirely pleasant, and the somewhat arrogant attitude and responses are what made me decide to write this negative review, something I never do. Advice: if you ever decide to go, don't bring a trolley, but a backpack.

08/09/2025: The bread, focaccia, and pastries are good, but the "CSI-style" barrier of chairs and tape to keep people away from the counter is TERRIBLE! Not even in the time of COVID. And if they mock us for our "typical Ligurian hospitality," let's not complain...

31/08/2025: Illegal Focaccia is so good! Even reheated the next day. Delicious bread. Excellent pastries: I love the Hollandaise pastries.

09/02/2026: I've been frequenting this place for years now and I can only leave a positive review for the quality, the flavors, and the service... The entire team is made up of kind, helpful, and competent people... And finally, the quality/price ratio is fair...! Highly recommended!!!!!

08/11/2025: Everything was truly delicious: the lamb tagine with prunes, the vegetarian dish with falafel, red bean cream, chickpea and eggplant hummus; the rose-scented desserts and the Turkish coffee. The staff were very friendly, the prices were reasonable, and it was just steps from the center. What more could you ask for?

27/01/2026: As new visitors to the Pineta, we went to this pizzeria restaurant. We found a family welcome, the local pizza was good and impeccable in terms of cleanliness, and the dessert was a homemade panna cotta, the TOP!!! We will return.

17/02/2026: I don't know where to start... mediocre and unnecessarily overpriced food, but the most disconcerting thing was the rude and inconsiderate staff. We walked in, and even though there weren't many people, they didn't even say hello. As soon as we sat down, the waitress came over, not giving us time to think. All in all, both my wife and I were dissatisfied. As I've heard, the place across the street is far more welcoming in terms of atmosphere and staff.

18/12/2025: The manager was very rude. We felt uncomfortable even just sitting there. This is definitely a place to avoid. The place across the street is much quieter and the staff is friendlier.

18/03/2026: I wonder, what does it cost these girls to smile every now and then? My goodness, what a tense atmosphere they create, it's like a boarding school... Smiling, even just professionally, is the best calling card, it's what makes a person decide whether to come back or not... Good luck to the owner.

12/01/2026: Unfair. I ordered a sandwich (of questionable taste) that was clearly priced at €3.50, and was then charged €4. When I pointed this out to the cashier, she told me it was €4 and the price displayed was incorrect, and she didn't refund me the 50 cents. I find this quite unfair, not because of the 50 cents, but because of the principle: if the seller makes a mistake, the buyer shouldn't pay! Or am I wrong?

24/01/2026: I ordered two pizzas at 6:30, they were supposed to arrive at 8:30/9 (before they couldn't) they arrived at 9:30 cold and burnt and we had to throw away half of each one

23/06/2025: Visitamos la pizzería Vesuvio Ristorante en Rapallo como parte de una excursión en crucero, justo en el paseo marítimo, por lo que la ubicación es ideal para una escapada panorámica. Nos ofrecieron aperitivos gratuitos y una parada de baño aquí durante el recorrido. La pastelería era fresca y sabrosa, los cacahuetes eran sorprendentemente buenos, y el jugo golpeó el lugar en un día cálido. Si bien no pedimos una comida completa, el servicio fue amable y rápido. Consejo: Si vas a caminar por el paseo marítimo o en una parada de crucero como nosotros, es un pequeño lugar genial para refrescarte y disfrutar de la vista. ¡Consideraría volver a probar su pizza!

31/12/2025: Politeness comes first, and it's completely lacking here. Four of us enter this place, say hello three times without a response. We ask if we can sit down, and after a 10-minute wait (the place was half-empty, especially given the late December morning), we ask if we can order four coffees (four coffees, not 18 different orders). The annoyed and rude response is: "Wait, I'm doing something else." We get up and say goodbye. I understand that the girl might not care about the place, but politeness and, above all, kindness towards a fellow diner are essential.
