20/08/2025: The only place in Italy where I ordered a juice and it didn't arrive at room temperature (hot), it arrived nice and fresh with quality oranges.

27/07/2025: A waterfront establishment with friendly and helpful staff. Very well-kept and clean, with both indoor and outdoor seating. One of the few places where the soy milk cappuccino is made properly...well done!

24/10/2025: The place is heavenly, the view and location are priceless. I'll start with this because I absolutely fell in love with it. Unfortunately, the hotel experience wasn't. The overall neglect of the place, with frayed curtains and crooked rods, slightly warped fake parquet floors, a plastic shower curtain, and questionable cleanliness. Given the difficulty in reaching the property (about 3 km of wonderful but not "easy" trail) with hundreds of steps and dirt roads, you're forced to dine in their restaurant, a room with a breathtaking view. There's a catch... the photos of the dishes published on the website don't reflect reality at all. We spent €100 for two people for a second course consisting of half a thin slice of swordfish, cooked to a slightly boiled effect, tossed on a base of bagged salad (a mix of radicchio and greens, very little), €27, along with two grilled eggplant and zucchini wafers. A cover charge of €7.50 each for pre-cooked sandwiches, half a liter of house wine (€15), a dessert such as Bindi, and a bitter liqueur. The red tablecloth was made of synthetic, non-iron material and wrinkled. In a place like this, I can pay even more for dinner, but everything has to be up to par. The same goes for breakfast, everything was defrosted and the cake was always packaged—€12 each. For a medium-sized dog, we paid €25 more (it was €35, which was a special price for us) than the price of the room booked through Booking.com, without having any utensils (a mat/bowl). As we very politely, merely as a suggestion, told the owner, simply charging high prices isn't enough to elevate the quality of the establishment; the factors that lead to that goal are multiple and interconnected. The exchange of opinions wasn't entirely pleasant, and the somewhat arrogant attitude and responses are what made me decide to write this negative review, something I never do. Advice: if you ever decide to go, don't bring a trolley, but a backpack.

18/09/2025: Why this hotel calls itself a resort is beyond my comprehension. The view from the room and from the restaurant terrace was fantastic. The super-nice colleague from Senegal made everything perfect; he was so friendly and so nice. Everyone else wasn't so keen on going in the off-season. But the boat trip is still worth it for relaxing and unwinding, including romantic sunsets. The prices are too high for what's on offer.

We dined here with 12 people, and when it came time to take our orders, the waiter became annoyed because one of our guests ordered a first course before the appetizer. He showed us the order pad, asking where he should write the appetizer, since the first line was already taken up by spaghetti with clams. Result: the appetizer wasn't ordered. We then ordered gnocchi with Fassona ragù, and they got tomato gnocchi, and instead of the lemon scallops, we got chicken breast with potatoes. We then asked for three glasses of Vermentino, and the waiter replied that he would bring us a bottle of local wine. Only after we further insisted did we get the three glasses of wine. When it came time to order coffees, the waiter again became annoyed when we ordered a caffè macchiato, replying that that wasn't a real coffee, and even worse if ordered with hot milk. The icing on the cake when it came to paying the bill: we were told that only one of us would pay €538 (!!), or at most we could split the amount between those paying (when among us were both families of four and singles). The only thing we were told was, "I can't waste time splitting the bill." Only after we strongly protested did the annoyed waiter finally decide to split the bill equally. The disastrous outcome of the evening was probably also our fault; we should have realized there was definitely a reason the place was almost completely empty.

07/10/2025: Gorgeous location. The staff is friendly, quick, and welcoming, but not intrusive. The seafood is delicious, but there are also meat dishes. The price is fair, obviously commensurate with the quality of the place, but the portions are generous. I recommend it. When we found out by chance that you were celebrating an anniversary, they offered us prosecco, which was delicious.

09/10/2025: Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Rude, uncultured, and dishonest waiter. I ordered two draft beers, 500 ml each. We brought two glasses of 300 ml each. I didn't notice right away, and then I called him over, asking why the difference. He said these are 500 ml glasses and everything is fine. Seeing how much nerve he had, I emptied the glass of beer and took a 300 ml Cola bottle from a nearby table (left by some customers). I filled it with water and emptied it into the glass, which filled the brim, asking him where the extra 200 ml could possibly fit. Very nervous, he started gesturing and, in a mix of Italian and English, trying to explain some nonsense to me. Seeing that I insisted, he addressed some Italian girls near us to translate for us. The young women, very embarrassed by the situation, kept repeating to us, 'You are right, you are right.'"

21/09/2025: A very nice place on the seafront. Greta makes excellent drinks, and the staff is generally very friendly. The prices are fair, especially considering the location. We felt right at home, and I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! Michael

11/09/2025: Pros: They had good non-alcoholic drinks, the staff was friendly, and the music selection was fantastic. Cons: The bill! I paid over €21 for a medium beer and two non-alcoholic drinks. That's fine, considering it's a bar right on the beach.

13/09/2025: We visited here for some light lunch and a drink, staff very friendly and attentive, food and drink came quick and was so yummy (we had the focaccia ligure and Manorola). We loved this place so much we came back later for a caprese salad (we spotted someone else eating it earlier and looked lovely) we then stayed for a few delicious cocktails which didn't fail to amaze us. Thank you, will come back if we visit Riomaggiore again :)

05/09/2025: We stopped for coffee. The girls were very kind. We had a confusing order, and the girl immediately offered to remake the coffee. Very kind, the coffee was good.

26/04/2025: The pizza is very good, but every time we order it arrives 30-40 minutes late, ALWAYS! Small update after 1 year: I want to note a clear improvement regarding delivery times, times are better respected! Super takeaway pizza :)

23/08/2025: Nice, small restaurant with a few tables inside and a covered outdoor area. A small but delicious menu. Good fish dishes. We had squid salad, octopus, and fried anchovies as antipasti. Spaghetti vongole, ravioli, and beef tagliate with diced potatoes. Some of the meat was a bit tough, but otherwise everything was delicious. We also enjoyed the house wine. Friendly and good service. Not exactly cheap.

22/08/2025: It's the #1 in Finale, no frills, all quality (fresh fish and mouth-watering flavors), and a must-visit when in Finale. The outdoor tables enhance the experience, and the portico is a lovely spot. Highly recommended.

21/10/2025: Terrible service: at the cashier I was treated with condescension and sarcasm simply for politely asking to replace a glass of hot water with cold water.

20/09/2025: If you want a salad…go somewhere else. 12 euros wasted (just the salad).

01/10/2025: An old trattoria in Cornigliano. Good and fast service. I ordered spaghetti with clams (good quantity and excellent quality). The pasta was delicious, crispy, and the dough was very easy to digest. Fair prices.

08/09/2025: I don't recommend it. They don't know how to make whole wheat pizzas and they even make fun of you by using regular dough in the whole wheat one, that's my interpretation. I was disappointed by the lack of trust shown to the customer, as if our complaint wasn't true, when the girl at the pizzeria reported that the whole wheat dough was missing. There are pizzerias that let you know right away if something is missing so they can consult with the person who then pays you for a pleasure, a service. Which in this case I consider a negative. I'm writing this for the future and for the relationship with other customers, specifically those who order takeout. Stop, I don't think I insulted; constructive criticism, stop.

04/10/2025: I went while waiting for the train. We had a coffee and a spritz. They brought the spritz and a coffee. The coffee was forgotten, and the spritz was served without even a peanut. I mentioned this to the waiter, who replied that he didn't have time (the place was empty), and he also cut short our complaints with a nice "Oh well." He was really rude. I advise the owner to fire him because it's a shame that such a nice place is run like this.
