29/11/2025: Excellent bakery, but above all, excellent Peruvian restaurant! Fresh, delicious dishes, authentic flavors! Very kind and welcoming staff, we always love to return.

28/10/2025: As for arrogance, bullying and added falsehood number one in absolute terms, for the rest they are only lucky enough to use the Ligurian sea and climate.
25/08/2025: Extremely unfriendly staff who refused to apologize for forgotten drinks or for vegetarian orders (despite repeated reassurances) that arrived with fish. The food was far too expensive, and they didn't even provide salt and pepper. Not recommended, even though the view is nice.

28/02/2026: Four aperitifs, an hour and a half wait. The place was dirty, with filthy tables and dirty, destroyed chairs. The full price was half the service. Does that seem like a fair amount for four people? At other tables, they brought the drinks, but at ours, they brought the small plate. The waiters weren't enough for the number of tables, and after countless reminders, they served us in 1.5 hours, after the drinks had been empty for an hour. I think it was the worst experience of my life at a bar.

20/11/2025: I had a full kebab piadina and found it overall good. The owner is friendly, and the place is a bit worn but seems clean. There's also a bathroom, which isn't always available in these types of places. I found it fairly clean, but it lacked toilet paper and hand drying paper. I'm still giving it a full 5 stars because I had a good experience, even though, as has happened at other kebab places, I had to listen to a loud Islamic mass broadcast on the restaurant's TV the entire time.

10/04/2026: We had lunch at "La Cantina," and
unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences in recent memory.
The food was terrible. Everything was of extremely poor quality, flavorless, and clearly
carelessly prepared.
The staff was rude from start to finish (when booking).
The only positive thing is the sea view, which is truly beautiful. However, to enjoy the same view (or even better), just cross the beach and go to the other side, where there are several restaurants.
In short: if you want to waste time and money on a mediocre meal and unpleasant service, La Cantina is the place to go.
Otherwise, I highly recommend choosing one of the restaurants on the other side of the beach.
It's worth it.
I will never go back.
07/04/2026: I arrive in San Fruttuoso by dinghy with friends and, in the absence of buoys serving boats, I dock the dinghy in the small marina in the eastern bay, intent on disembarking to eat at La Cantina.
After completing the docking procedures, I'm verbally assaulted by a young man who boasts about the La Cantina restaurant and rudely reminds me that I can't dock there, acting as deputy for the person who regulates mooring in that marina on a gray day with very little tourist traffic.
He reminds me that the restaurant's buoys cost 50 euros without a shuttle service to the restaurant.
It's a good caricature of what is jokingly called "typical Ligurian hospitality."
Reading the other comments, I certainly don't regret the dishes, even if I haven't tried them, and I'll have even less regrets about the service, since a welcome like this has made me want to return.

02/01/2026: We reserved 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella.
We needed an additional umbrella because we were with a baby and not protected from the sun.
No umbrellas were available, so the beach attendant offered, in the meantime, to let us sit on the neighboring sunbeds that were in the shade, telling us that if a client came, we would have to move. This implied that it was free. We agreed.
Except that at the end of the day, he charged us for two additional sunbeds and the umbrella for the whole day.
We tried to dispute it, but he asked us in what world we thought it would be free.
I’d like to ask him in what world he charges for two unused sunbeds because he doesn’t have any umbrellas available?
The answer is: in the world of thieves

Big Toast Take Away

12/06/2025: I was really satisfied with the Big Toast in Savona at C/Commerciale Al Gabbiano.
The place is clean, welcoming, and the staff is friendly and fast.
The toasts are generous and well-filled with the freshest ingredients.
I tried the "premium" version, and it was worth it.
Plastic and super filling.
Fair prices and super fast.
I'll definitely be back!!!
A must try!

19/07/2025: Sono anni che frequento saltuariamente questa pizzeria e l’ho sempre considerata ottima tanto da consigliarla spesso ad amici e conoscenti. Purtroppo ho dovuto ricredermi. Io e altri amici abbiamo preso delle pizze da asporto e purtroppo la mia Parmigiana, così come quella di un’altra persona che aveva ordinato la stessa pizza, era quasi immangiabile: salatissima. Non so se sia stato un incidente nella preparazione delle melanzane o cosa, ma non siamo riusciti a finirla. Inoltre la pasta sottilissima ( e questo non è un problema, ma una caratteristica di quel posto) era gommosa. Da una delle mie pizzerie preferite a Genova non me lo sarei aspettato. Una pizza peraltro pagata 15€. Anche le pizze degli altri nostri amici, sebbene, per carità, mangiabii, non erano all’altezza del solito standard. Cosa è successo? Cosa è cambiato?Una delusione e un grande dispiacere davvero. Peccato.
04/07/2025: Sono stato con amici per mangiare la pizza ,il servizio è veloce e gentile ,ma la pizza ,sottile va bene ma non secca asciutta ,io l’ho presa con porchetta e friarielli senza formaggi sciolti e difficile da mangiare e comunque non calda come appena uscita dal forno in più chicca finale , la birra calda 😬

28/07/2025: I bought 3 sandwiches, 2 small pieces of focaccia, and 2 cannoli for €8.17. It's a shame the cannoli were old and the pastry was dry, so they filled them with cream on the spot. The bread and focaccia are decent. It's a shame because I'd heard good things about them, and the bread isn't bad.

06/04/2026: I discovered this place about 35 years ago and had fabulous meals there for very little money. I've returned over time, bringing friends, celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, and have been very satisfied with both the place and the food.
Yesterday, after not being there for about 2-3 years, I found it a disaster.
The place was let down. I sat down at the table and the bottle of wine was half empty. After 20 minutes, they brought the appetizer, but it was incomplete (I didn't need the charcuterie and cheese platter). So what? After about 1/2 hour, three skimpy first courses arrived: savory ravioli, pansotti with a supposed walnut sauce; the tagliolini were a good example.
The second course was even worse: a mixed fried mix of basically vegetables, a fake slice of beef, and lamb with practically nothing but bones. The whole thing was supposed to serve four people, but it was barely enough for two. Last but not least, the dessert: five 5x5 squares of Colomba cake bought at the supermarket.
Let's talk about the staff: one waitress and the owner (who was also sweaty and who casually handled money, waited tables, cut meat, and wiped his forehead) had to serve about 100 customers.
Wonderful place, but ruined by an incompetent person.
I won't be back.
22/03/2026: We were there for lunch on Sunday. The food is wonderful, the best pasta in the area. The people are very friendly. I wish them all the best for their business.

24/08/2025: The current management is scandalous, dirty and smelly bathrooms, expensive food and not even generous portions, shower without water, the only saving grace is the staff which is average, after years of coming here and the worst management I have ever seen.
21/08/2025: Aside from the sea, there's nothing to go for lunch or anything else. The prices are high for what they offer, a run-down place with a dirty and dilapidated bathroom. The managers are rude, and I don't think they even have the excuse of being Ligurian.
It's attractive because it's access to the free beach, where they have to provide water for the shower, but the manager tries to
obstruct this by keeping the flow to a minimum to save money, or sometimes complaining about system failures.
It's a shame.
