21/10/2025: We had dinner; I found the staff courteous and helpful. The food was good and the portions generous. The sea view room was pleasant.

17/10/2025: It attracts tourists. I ordered a mixed grilled fish, and only one piece of fish arrived, so small you couldn't tell what it was, it was so dry. The rest was just crayfish to fill the plate. We tried to talk to the staff, but they turned their backs on us. Don't waste your time here; you'll get bored.

14/11/2025: The waiter was nice and friendly. The food was delicious until I discovered a beetle in it. The waiter initially said it was basil, but after clearing the table, he came back, apologized, and removed the dish from the bill. Very kind of him.

30/07/2025: À fuir absolument. Endroit sale, ambiance désagréable. Ma fille a accidentellement sali une fourchette en jouant avec un bonbon fructis , et la responsable a refusé de la garder après , sous prétexte que ce n’était « pas son problème et que un enfant de 3 ans fais pas ça »… Résultat : elle m’a fait payer la fourchette et le couteau Et j’ai payer plus qu’il fallait ((( Comme si ça ne suffisait pas, elle nous a aussi facturé 5€ par personne pour les couverts, ce qui n’était indiqué nulle part. Et au moment de payer, c’était encore pire : je voulais régler en espèces, mon amie en carte, et là, la gérante a littéralement fait un scandale, refusant qu’on paie séparément. Franchement, j’ai voyagé dans pas mal de pays, mais je n’ai jamais vu un service aussi désagréable et irrespectueux. Très mal accueillis, aucune flexibilité, aucune politesse. Le seul point positif ? C’est proche de la gare. Mais franchement, même gratuit, je n’y retournerais pas.

N’y allais pas la gérante très vulgaire et agressive nous a insulté en italien parce qu’un enfant de 4 ans a sali ses couverts et nous les a fait payer… la nourriture etait très médiocres et les fruits de mer pas frais … vraiment trees choquant et très mauvaise expérience… limite raciste vous êtes en Italie ici il faut parler italien!?! Quelle honte

13/10/2025: We went there for a quick lunch. The service was perhaps a little slow, but still had a kindness that's hard to find at times. The food was good. Like a refuge, in short. The view was priceless, and the fireplace atmosphere was magnificent.

12/10/2025: A quaint refuge with a welcoming veranda offering a fantastic view and delicious inland cuisine. The ravioli with amazing mushroom sauce are delicious, and the cold cuts and cheeses on the platter are also excellent and authentic. Super friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

14/12/2025: The food is very good, but the woman at the cash register is dishonest: I ordered a cake which I saw in the window for 4€, but after I paid already I saw that I was charged for it 7€. When I brought it up to the lady I just paid with, she said that I ordered it with ice-cream which I didn’t, and that I should have said something when it arrived with ice-cream. Well, I don’t know how they do the presentation of their products. Now, for those 3 € they lost a client. Tourists beware!

11/12/2025: I'd been there before and everything was fine, but this time I found the staff really rude and unprofessional. I was really disappointed, and I won't go there again.

15/11/2025: I went to this restaurant a few days ago with my wife and two young children to try something new, since we occasionally stop in Varazze for a few hours of relaxation. We've tried enough restaurants and bars in Liguria to rate this restaurant experience as the worst of our experiences. We arrived and asked for a table for four (two small children with two high chairs) and were kindly accommodated. We then asked for the daily set menu for €15 per person, which includes two courses per person, including two appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses. I chose an appetizer (a mix of four stockfish samples) and a second course (mussels). My wife chose an appetizer (a mixed hot fish appetizer consisting of three selections) and a first course (seafood risotto). As soon as my stockfish arrived, I noticed a strange smell (yes, it smells). My wife looked at me and immediately told me to let her taste it (she spit it out immediately). I, being a man with a moderate palate (I eat everything, I'm not a picky eater or anything), started eating but immediately realized something was wrong (I tried all four types). So I decided to leave it there because I couldn't help it; the fish had definitely gone bad! So my wife calls the waiter and kindly explains the situation ("Sorry, I don't know if it's us, but the fish smells bad and tastes nauseating," those are his exact words). The waiter, who was kind enough to serve us, replies ("The stockfish has a strong taste") and asks if we want anything else (he suggests mussels). I'd like to explain that my wife and I are 40 years old, not 12 years old. We've eaten a lot of fish in our lives, fish probably arrives where we live earlier than at the seaside. We know that stockfish and other fish have a strong taste, but we also know how to distinguish spoiled fish!!! We continue with the mussels, which had a strange smell, like ammonia. Finally, the risotto; at least that one didn't smell, but it wasn't even remotely related to a seafood risotto. I decided to write this review (the first I've ever written) not to judge the place (if I don't like a place, I never go back; I don't need to write reviews) but because I expected the chef to at least show his face and come to our table to taste the fish, because a professional does that; he shows his face and doesn't pretend anything is wrong, and he sends a dish to the table with an odor that they probably even smelled in Arenzano. Maybe we just had the wrong day, but smelly dishes like that shouldn't be served (if I were the waiter, I would have refused). 1 star for the food because I can't give zero. 1 star for the service because a waiter doesn't bring dishes that smell like that to the table. 3 stars for the atmosphere because the place doesn't deserve a star.

23/11/2025: How wonderful it was yesterday when, wandering through a wonderful land, on a beautiful sunny day, with the olive trees shining like the sea, I found a person who welcomed me with kindness, excellent ravioli and good olive oil....

06/10/2025: It is my habit to share both positive and negative experiences so this was a very negative one from the place to the food what should have been a pleasure became a great disappointment ...............agriturismo????? not to be repeated

23/09/2025: 💲 Visa accepted. 💗 I love the pistachio and raspberry flavors. They're quite rich and fresh, and the moment you take a sip, you know it's genuine, natural gelato, not artificially colored. 💁‍♀️The staff, though elderly, are incredibly energetic and provide excellent service. Watching them fill the ice cream is a real treat.

08/11/2025: A reliable choice in all its simplicity. Pleasant service, very reasonable prices from appetizer to dessert – a little moment of bliss. Before leaving, you can stop by the small bar next door to buy some "michetti" (a sweet treat to accompany a cappuccino, for example) and Swiss chard pizzas – a treat to enjoy when you get home.
