10/11/2025: The food was good, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was very helpful and attentive to my 2-year-old son's needs.

30/10/2025: We had an excellent meal at Ristorante Vulnetia – the pasta was superb, and the pizza and fish were also very good and tasty. The portions were a good size and the atmosphere was lovely. Prices are reasonable for a tourist area. We would definitely eat here again.

30/07/2025: À fuir absolument. Endroit sale, ambiance désagréable. Ma fille a accidentellement sali une fourchette en jouant avec un bonbon fructis , et la responsable a refusé de la garder après , sous prétexte que ce n’était « pas son problème et que un enfant de 3 ans fais pas ça »… Résultat : elle m’a fait payer la fourchette et le couteau Et j’ai payer plus qu’il fallait ((( Comme si ça ne suffisait pas, elle nous a aussi facturé 5€ par personne pour les couverts, ce qui n’était indiqué nulle part. Et au moment de payer, c’était encore pire : je voulais régler en espèces, mon amie en carte, et là, la gérante a littéralement fait un scandale, refusant qu’on paie séparément. Franchement, j’ai voyagé dans pas mal de pays, mais je n’ai jamais vu un service aussi désagréable et irrespectueux. Très mal accueillis, aucune flexibilité, aucune politesse. Le seul point positif ? C’est proche de la gare. Mais franchement, même gratuit, je n’y retournerais pas.

N’y allais pas la gérante très vulgaire et agressive nous a insulté en italien parce qu’un enfant de 4 ans a sali ses couverts et nous les a fait payer… la nourriture etait très médiocres et les fruits de mer pas frais … vraiment trees choquant et très mauvaise expérience… limite raciste vous êtes en Italie ici il faut parler italien!?! Quelle honte

31/08/2025: While passing by on our motorcycle, we stopped for a burger. Although the ingredients weren't fresh—"frozen bread and meat"—the result was still good, as was the service. However, in my opinion, for a place to be considered a "burger joint," it would have been a good idea to have a menu with various options for ordering and fresh ingredients. The price, however, is in line with the service.

05/07/2025: A roadside oasis, found by chance. It was too late to eat anywhere, but the girls welcomed us with such kindness and hospitality, and they made us some heavenly burgers. It's a bit far from home, but we'd definitely go back.

06/10/2025: I don't want to be too harsh. Let's just say you shouldn't eat there on purpose. But if you're in the area, after a nice hike up Monte Maggio, a great vantage point, you can stop for a bite to eat at this "restaurant" (wouldn't it have been better to call it a trattoria or an osteria?) where the atmosphere takes you back to the 1960s, the food is very cheap, but it tastes like a canteen. It's a shame, because it wouldn't take much to improve enough to make it acceptable, perhaps by raising the prices by a few euros. On the other hand, the lady is very kind and quick. Of course, they don't have a POS.

14/10/2025: A good, typical little Ligurian restaurant. Mainly fish dishes, but also a small but fine selection of meat dishes. The usual Ligurian vegetarian dishes are also available.

29/09/2025: Located in front of the Friday (food) market. The four of us all ordered the tuna salad. It was served in a huge bowl. Tuna was hard to find but I did find half a piece of a hard boiled egg. The rest was lettuce. Incredibly disappointing. Not recommended. Spend your money somewhere else. (Food market was closed so that's why we ate there).

26/09/2025: I can't believe all these positive reviews! The wait was ENDLESS. I can't say more because we left after 39 minutes, even though the bar wasn't that busy! But the staff kept laughing and joking with other people and serving them first! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

07/09/2025: WARNING: HISTAMINE POISONING‼️‼️ My mother and a friend ate a tuna salad, and both immediately felt ill. My mother was admitted to the hospital in Savona with severe symptoms, and they immediately realized it was poisoning from poorly preserved fish. She later learned that this wasn't the first case. We want to make this known so we can prevent this from happening again.

13/09/2025: We arrived after a hike; we only had lunch, not a night's stay. The food was poor, nothing special. I'm used to the home-cooked food at mountain huts, where even with limited ingredients and limited choice, the result is nothing short of excellent, thanks to the fresh, locally sourced produce. This wasn't the case. They clearly use seed oil for everything, not just frying. Let's just say the food wasn't inedible, mind you. Although we did notice that a couple of tables had leftovers. We were still hungry from the hike. For the price we paid, it's absolutely not worth it.

02/09/2025: We haven't been there (and never will). We only called to inquire about price and availability, but since we were so disappointed by the attitude of the lady who answered us, I wanted to leave a review. We called before Ferragosto 2025 and asked for availability for three people, two adults and one child. A room was available for €70. My husband and I talked for a moment, and he confirmed it was fine. At this point, the lady informed us that the room didn't have hot water. We hesitated for a moment (having a small child), but we confirmed it. At this point, the lady told us she'd forgotten, but for the child it would be €20 more. My husband, very polite, asked if, since there was no hot water, he could give us a slight discount, especially since €90 for a refuge (and without hot water) isn't exactly cheap! This was the kind lady's response: "This is a shelter. Don't come, you'll be happier." She was right; we were much happier NOT to come, and if we ever pass by, we'll be careful not to enter the shelter and spend money there. But I'd be happy to thank her for her good manners, looking her in the eye...

28/08/2025: Nice atmosphere. Really unpopular service. Unpopular. Rather limited menu selection. Inedible meat. Good tuna tartare. Fair prices.

21/08/2025: Elegant atmosphere and courteous, prompt staff. We discovered the Universale restaurant by chance but were pleasantly surprised. The dishes are well-prepared: beautiful to look at and delicious to eat! The black lasagna and the amberjack steak are highly recommended.

18/05/2025: This is an excellent place if you just want to come to enjoy the setting. The music is very soft, and it’s a perfect place to read a book on your own if you are a solo diner. It’s mainly a Pizzeria but also serve some steak as a side option do not under any circumstance or their own Amaro.Its called Basanotto. It’s basically mix between Limoncello washing up liquid and chemical basil. Absolutely revolting.

14/04/2025: Neapolitan pizza with a high (and chewy) crust and a very thin center. Not my favorite type of pizza. Excellent ingredients. Average to high prices. Long wait times.

07/09/2025: I see a bakery with all the lights on at around 7:30 in the morning. I try to open the sliding door without trying too hard, and I hear someone yelling, "WE OPEN AT 9!!! You just need to know how to read." In short, even if it were the best bread in the world, given this, I'll never go there again. Kudos to you for your kindness.

08/11/2025: A reliable choice in all its simplicity. Pleasant service, very reasonable prices from appetizer to dessert – a little moment of bliss. Before leaving, you can stop by the small bar next door to buy some "michetti" (a sweet treat to accompany a cappuccino, for example) and Swiss chard pizzas – a treat to enjoy when you get home.
