14/07/2026: We went in for a couple of cocktails. Ask for the menu. Aperol Spritz is not on the menu. Mojito is not on the menu. We called the bartender to clarify the situation. He said they can make anything. These drinks aren't listed on the menu. Ordered. Result: Aperol was a C. Mojito - half a glass of passion fruit syrup and a little water. Three mint leaves. Naturally, there was no mention of fresh passion fruit. I had to dilute it three times with soda. Because it was so extra sweet, I couldn't tell if there was rum in it. I don't recommend it and I'll be back.

13/07/2026: Ten euros for two coffees and a tea, that's not normal. Two and fifty euros for a coffee and it's not even good.

07/12/2025: I visited Trattoria Barisone after the recent change of management and was thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, and from the first moment you can sense the new energy and attention to detail. I started with ravioli al tocco, which released an incredibly inviting aroma: a rich, enveloping dish with a simply divine flavor. Next came a delicate swordfish carpaccio, incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, perfect in its elegant simplicity. All this was accompanied by an excellent Lagrein, which perfectly rounded out the experience. The quality of the cuisine, combined with the kindness and professionalism of the service, makes the new management a true revelation. Trattoria Barisone is back, better than ever: highly recommended!

13/11/2025: Terrible experience My visit was truly disappointing. The place is very expensive for what it offers, and the treatment of foreign customers was truly unprofessional. The service is poor, and they show no commitment to treating everyone equally. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for proper service or even a modicum of respect.

04/05/2026: I grabbed a Margherita pizza to takeaway from here for just €8.50, and it was honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve had. I took it down to the beachfront and it was so lovely. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Italian food!

09/04/2026: We wouldn’t recommend! We tried the pizza there because it was the only place with a free table. The dough was good but rest was super bland.

22/07/2026: Terrible welcome in July 2026: in previous years, at least the food was pretty good. Two sunbeds for a couple cost €40, and let me start by saying we're not tourists, but we live nearby, so we know the area well. The restaurant, where the food used to be pretty good, was a complete disappointment! We chose a Milanese with fries, but we received a plate with four chicken nuggets, one of which was raw, and four fries thrown on the plate (even at a service station, the food is this bad). The staff was uninterested, but the friendliness and customer service were zero! The only positive thing was the clean sand on the beach, but at 9:00 AM, the beach table was still full of litter and contact lenses from the previous day's guest. Never again!

06/07/2026: Mixed experience. The beach is beautiful, well-maintained, and peaceful. However, it's 40% more expensive. But it's also more upscale. Avoid the restaurant. French prices for bland and uninspiring food. Eat out!

06/05/2026: The quality of the fish and dishes is excellent!

03/05/2026: Poor mixed fried fish, resulting in an allergic reaction (to histamine). 1.5 hours of waiting. Bread ran out. They didn't inform us that we were cash-only. Other customers left their tables because their food hadn't arrived, or complained like us about the quality of their dishes. When we expressed our disapproval of the dishes, including the seafood spaghetti, which they refused to bring to the table due to indecency (they said it was unpresentable), the owner (the restaurant's chef) responded rudely and left the restaurant, leaving the dining room staff in distress. We left 50 euros between the four of us for the bottle of wine we ordered and out of respect for the embarrassed waiters.

12/08/2026: Pizzeria PappaBuona is truly a hidden gem! I loved the food so much that I came back the very next day just to try more dishes. Everything was delicious and clearly made with great-quality ingredients. The eggplant lasagna was amazing — slightly crunchy on the outside, gooey, rich and absolutely delicious. The fish with vegetables was so light and perfectly prepared, ideal for dinner. And their pizza is fantastic — especially the crust, which is just perfect: light, crisp and never chewy or heavy. I also asked about their ingredients, and they take real pride in sourcing the best-quality mozzarella and prosciutto. You can genuinely taste the difference. The tiramisu was light, creamy and fresh, the perfect ending to the meal. I absolutely love this place. Wonderful food, excellent ingredients and a lovely atmosphere — a real hidden gem that I would happily come back to again and again!

26/05/2026: Terrible service I ordered a croissant I got a tiny biscuit and I ate it thinking it was a complementary treat while I’m waiting for my order. I asked the waiter what happened to my croissant he told me I ordered the biscuit when I said I didn’t order this they started being rude and charged me 1.2€ for a tiny piece of biscuit I don’t recommend it

22/05/2026: Excellent homemade pastries. I've never had such good raspberry croissants! The ice cream is excellent too. The service is 5-star! I highly recommend it!

29/07/2026: Truly mediocre ice cream, the worst I've ever eaten: stracciatella flavor without flakes, biscuit flavor without flavor and with chewy pieces, more resembling chewing gum or plastic than a biscuit, Nutella variegated flavor without Nutella.

18/07/2026: 5 euros for a granita that resembled a block of ice mixed with reinforced concrete and I was even polite.

29/07/2026: I just went to this bar and bought half a kilo of ice cream. When I got home I weighed it and it was 460 grams, and if you take away the weight of the box it will be 400 grams. The girl actually got angry when I asked for the receipt.

22/04/2026: The bar is located at the beginning of the main road, a few steps from the public beach and the private beaches. Convenient if you're arriving by bus (the bus stops nearby are: 30 Varazze Savona, 7 Savona Albisola, 7/ Savona Albisola). The nearby parking lot offers a 60-minute parking disc from May to September, or pay parking for €1.50 per hour. The bar staff is friendly, the coffee is good, and they have a good selection of sweet and savory food. They also serve lunches and aperitifs. In the summer, they also have an ice cream stand. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. The bar is wheelchair/stroller friendly, but the bathroom is difficult for those with disabilities due to a step and the narrowness. On the plus side, it has a handle to help elderly people get up.

22/07/2025: Muy buena comida Recomiendo la pasta pesto - sin embargo, tenga en cuenta que el hombre de pie fuera del restaurante con sus gatos tratando de que las mujeres vayan a su lugar diciéndoles que puede cocinar para ellos. Realmente no me sentí el más seguro. . Fue un poco incómodo porque se quedó al lado de la cena al aire libre todo el tiempo.
