12/09/2025: My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel for four days, including breakfast only. The rooms were in a questionable condition, as they were moldy and smelled strongly. Luckily, since it was summer, we were able to keep the window open. The bathroom was windowless, with a fan, but unfortunately, there wasn't even a line to hang clothes to dry. It's unclear whether the towel change costs 10 euros or 20 euros, given that they're changed once a week, as expected for one-star hotels. It's a shame they can't even dry them, as mentioned above. There's no written cleaning schedule, so it's unclear when to vacate the room. The Wi-Fi doesn't work in the room. Breakfast is from 8 to 10, but when you arrive at 9, you'll find practically nothing left except the leftovers from those who arrived earlier. The only thing that gets replaced are the croissants. Dinner is from 7 to 10. I showed up at 9:20 PM and was told it wasn't possible to eat; they'd obviously set up a line just for those with reservations. Unfortunately, it's always a disservice. In conclusion, the only positive aspect of the hotel is that it overlooks the sea.

07/09/2025: We stayed half board and had a great time.

18/12/2025: The manager was very rude. We felt uncomfortable even just sitting there. This is definitely a place to avoid. The place across the street is much quieter and the staff is friendlier.

30/11/2025: We sat down for two coffees, which arrived 15 minutes later. The waiter preferred to make two rounds, first bringing the glasses of water and then the coffees in hand, rather than carrying a tray. Once we reached the cash register, he didn't even tell us the total; we had to read it from the cashier because while I was looking for coins, he went back to minding his own business. After reading that the total was 2.60, he gave us 40 cents in change, slamming it on the balcony. The only thing I wanted to say was, "If you have to slamming it like that, you can keep it." Rude as can be, I really don't think I'll go back there again. I feel sorry for my colleague, who was very nice and professional.

22/10/2025: Me and my wife got two different dishes, Pasta carbonara and Seafood salad. My carbonara was overcooked and the seafood was frozen, microwaved and just put on the plate. The waiter asked us how the food was and I told her about the pasta, saying that it still had a good taste because I didn't want to be rude. She said that Carbonara is not specific to the region and if we want to eat good Carbonara we should go to Rome. How about you stop making food that you don't know how to make? I should also mention that we ordered this food because the focaccia on display was looking horrible. I wish you the best, close shop or change the whole staff.

01/02/2026: For me, it's a true trattoria, simple, good, abundant dishes, especially the appetizers, but the most spectacular thing is the pizza, especially the GARFAGNANA ❤️❤️❤️ Since they put it on the menu, I've tried it, and every time I go there that day I try to try something else, but I can't. Now, if we eat pizza, they don't give me the menu anymore, they put it on the order regardless. As well as the food, the owners are magnificent and the waitresses are very kind and polite. In short, a spectacular trattoria ❤️❤️❤️

27/11/2025: Everything can be justified, at least up to a point: a run-down environment, shoddy cleanliness, questionable food quality, but not rudeness, swearing, and arrogance. If you have problems, take care of yourself and don't take it out on the customers.

We asked two girls, but unfortunately, neither of them gave us the opportunity to verify the ingredients. It's hoped you'll raise awareness among your staff about this issue. Thanks again for your attention. -- I mentioned twice that we needed to know the ingredients for allergy reasons. They said they didn't know. When I insisted, they said they'd have to call the supplier to find out, but they never said anything else. In short, I never received a response. Doesn't EU regulations apply in Portovenere?

04/02/2026: A historic osteria in Chiavari, always a pleasure to visit. This last time, I was a bit disappointed by the farinata and the tuna tagliata: the flavor was good, but I personally didn't really appreciate the dishes. For the first time, the service was a bit "lost," with the two main courses served too far apart. It's still a point of reference, however.

22/08/2025: I'm sorry to have to post this review. We went on August 15th. There was a menu with a choice of two items per course. We had an anchovy appetizer, which included six anchovies for €10. Being in Liguria, a seaside town, I should have had a nice meal. The rest of the food was also disappointing. Except for the girls, who, despite the chaos, were always so nice and kind. I absolutely don't recommend it; if you want a nice meal, go elsewhere: they're on a diet.

16/08/2025: Good campsite. Nice pool. However, there is a lot of noise until midnight (music, singing, children screaming while playing on the barbecue area). Hot water in the showers is chargeable. Normal showers are very cold, so avoid those who are sensitive to the cold.

10/01/2026: Small place. Wide selection of pizzas, good quality and well-topped. For those who prefer a dry, crispier pizza that's not Neapolitan-style.

27/07/2025: Vi opplevde en fantastisk og vennlig service. Maten var meget god, både forrett og hovedrett. Brødet vi fikk til maten var utmerket. Paloma anbefales på det sterkeste. Må være en av de beste restaurantene langs sjøsiden.
