21/12/2025: We discovered this restaurant by chance. The food was average, considering the reasonable price of the €13 fixed lunch menu. Table service was quick and courteous, with very friendly and competent wait staff. It was unfortunate that the owner was unprofessional, rude, and even ignorant. She loudly scolded the waitresses in front of the customers, inappropriately and without any real reason. This behavior inevitably impacted the overall experience.

19/12/2025: Good food, excellent value. Very efficient and, above all, very kind staff, especially Eleonora and Juri who served me. The atmosphere is pleasant and well-kept.

16/11/2025: AWFUL experience, they ruined my graduation party. I had booked an 8:00 pm aperitif with a table upstairs more than two weeks in advance, but when we got there, they first put us downstairs in front of the kitchen and then shoved us onto the veranda. Only once we were seated were they told us the aperitif ended at 8:00 pm, a fact never communicated beforehand, and then served us paltry dishes that looked like leftovers, even a random fried squid on my plate; water only arrived after three requests. I had brought a large cake, and they threw out the packaging without asking, suggesting we put it in a pizza box and cut it into pieces. When it came time to pay the bill, the music was blaring, the waiters made signs of smiling at my guests, annoyed by the noise, and the receipt was only issued upon request, with the generic heading "miscellaneous": I paid 96 euros for 3 aperitifs, 6 plates of 3 cold cuts, 2 fried squid, 5 spritzes, 1 non-alcoholic drink, and 3 waters, without any details.

06/03/2026: Nice, airy venue, although it's located downstairs. There are emergency rooms in addition to the service rooms. That evening, two famous DJs, Farfa and Zappalà, performed.

18/01/2026: Nice atmosphere, but service is a bit poor. Mandatory cloakroom service, which is an extra charge (put it in your ticket price, since it's €3 anyway), watered-down drinks that cost more if you pay by credit card... Only go if you're interested in a particular genre of music, because unfortunately (and this is our fault) we chose to go during the trap music night, but we were surrounded by 18-year-olds (maybe younger?) and the music we'd never heard. If you're in your 30s, go to the techno room, which is better.

05/12/2025: The timetable says it closes at 7:00 PM. I went at 4:40 PM, needing a bus ticket, which I couldn't use since I only had a credit card. The girl at the bar was about to close, and even though we'd only asked for a bus ticket, she refused (she also responded rudely, in an arrogant voice, saying we had to bring cash). I REPEAT THAT IT SAYS ONLINE THAT IT CLOSES AT 7:00 PM, AND THIS IS THE ONLY BAR THAT SELLS TICKETS IN PIAZZA DEL POPOLO.

11/10/2025: Nestled within this beautiful and characteristic square, it could stand out. Instead... the Moroccan food and coffee are decidedly unmemorable.

09/03/2026: I went with my boyfriend for a drink (let me start by saying I live a 2-hour drive away). We spent 14 euros for a Spritz and a Coke, no service, but that's okay. I left and forgot my bag. I tried calling the bar's phone number, but it didn't work. They don't have social media, so there was no way to contact them. I went back, and they weren't there. I asked the guy at the restaurant next door, and he tried calling a waiter who works at Bar Gio. They all answered vaguely, as if no one had found anything. They couldn't get me anything, so I went home. The guy had kindly sent my number to the waiter at Bar Gio, who was supposed to text me the next day to let me know if my bag was there. No one texted me, but the guy from the other bar texted me again at 6 pm and told me the bag was there, and to hurry up and get it because they were leaving at 8 pm and that he had already argued with them and didn't want to take responsibility. The bar manager Gio got angry with him, telling him to mind his own business next time, I presume to keep the bag, so I had to get in the car and fly and run just to get this bag back. That said, a person of little values, stingy and petty. If it hadn't been for the guy from the restaurant next door, I wouldn't have found it! Be careful!

23/06/2025: Non voglio fare una recensione suggestiva ma onesta per cui, a chi legge, vorrei chiedere: quanto pensi di dover pagare due piatti di trofie col pesto, una bottiglia d'acqua, due calici di vino locale e due caffè? Datti una risposta e poi pensa che noi abbiamo pagato 60€. Ora, archiviata la questione economica (che credo giustifichi ampiamente il titolo della recensione), passiamo a quella gastronomica. La pasta era buona. Per essere precisa, come quella che farei a casa ma mettendoci la metà del pesto. Con la sincerità che ha contraddistinto sinora questo feedback, va detto che il servizio è stato celere e cortese. La cameriera (che non so se sia anche la proprietaria) è stata gentilissima, non invadente, ci ha consigliato il vino in modo simpatico e cordiale. Le consiglio di fare un'esame di coscienza e rivedere i prezzi (nel caso in cui fosse la titolare) oppure di aprire un locale suo (nel caso in cui fosse una dipendente) perché ci sa fare! Nonostante ciò, il verdetto è chiaro: locale assolutamente sconsigliato.

31/12/2025: Truly delicious, high-quality food and a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere—the restaurant is tastefully furnished and decorated, and the music was also thoughtful. The prices were absolutely reasonable. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again!

19/08/2025: Good food, but the experience was ruined by the management! We visited this restaurant recently with colleagues with high expectations, driven by the positive reviews of the food, and I must say we weren't disappointed: well-cooked dishes, quality ingredients, and decent portions. Unfortunately, however, the experience was severely compromised by the attitude of the owner, Mr. "Rude." Instead of welcoming customers with kindness and professionalism, we were met with rude, almost annoyed, and zero attention to detail. We felt like we were "being a nuisance," not welcome guests. A real shame, because the kitchen deserves a much better management: with a more courteous welcome and a little more attention, the restaurant would have all the makings of a point of reference. I don't know if we'll return: eating well is important, but feeling welcomed is just as important.

14/09/2025: A pizzeria that offers Italian specialties in addition to pizzas. The welcome is good, the pizzas and dishes are good, and the presentation is simple. The service is very pleasant and professional. The terrace is very pleasant. The value for money is excellent.

04/01/2026: We went in for a coffee, and a guy at the counter refused to make us a coffee. He told us that since someone was missing, he wouldn't be working at the counter. It's the first time in my life something like this has happened.
