02/10/2025: 15 or 20 meters from the Plaza Principe train station exit, we were given a room for three, and the next day we had to move to another room for two. We found it too small for two, so I asked the owner if we could stay in the one we were in, quiet and not sandwiched between so many rooms. Money talked, and we were able to work it out. I'd rather pay a little more and be comfortable and quiet. She resolved the issue immediately. Good service. For a three-star hotel, the place looks clean and the rooms are well-maintained.

25/04/2025: Mi spiace, è difficile che dia recensioni negative, ma: polpo duro, linguine alle vongole che sembrano bollite, cozze ché definirle salate è poco, unica cosa decente la frittura, che, comunque, della paranza, non ha nulla, chiamatela di totani e gamberi con 2 acciughe. 25/07/2025: La sorpresa di trovare un luogo unico ed accogliente in un carruggio vista mare sul porto di Santa è stata completata da un’esperienza gastronomica altrettanto sorprendente. Ricette non banali, qualità ineccepibile attenzione e cordialità nel servizio Il tutto ad un prezzo più che equo. Cosa chiedere di più? Bravi!!

19/10/2025: We visited in early September. The restaurant, unfortunately, looks very nice. The waiter and the owner are very kind. Everything is very clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the food is a disaster. From the look of it, and from the first bite, it was clear that everything had been reheated several times and had been languishing in the kitchen for some time. We had confirmation from local acquaintances that, unfortunately, it's considered a restaurant with very poor food.

08/10/2025: Already a reasonably satisfied customer, I ordered ten pizzas for a dinner in Sori with friends. I called at 6:05 PM (they don't accept orders before that time), believing that by ordering early, the quality and service wouldn't change and that their job would actually be easier (silly me). When asked, "What time is delivery?" I replied 8:30 PM. At 8:35 PM, the pizzas arrived. Inedible! Simply because they were obviously cooked well in advance (to save themselves work during rush hour?) and then reheated for delivery. Ten very hard pizzas with dry toppings and coarsely chopped meats. One of them was mostly burned. All the guests left it on their plates. Never again! It's a shame because, while they're not a top-notch restaurant, they're one of the few in the area that delivers. The delivery guys are always kind and helpful.

24/10/2025: The place is heavenly, the view and location are priceless. I'll start with this because I absolutely fell in love with it. Unfortunately, the hotel experience wasn't. The overall neglect of the place, with frayed curtains and crooked rods, slightly warped fake parquet floors, a plastic shower curtain, and questionable cleanliness. Given the difficulty in reaching the property (about 3 km of wonderful but not "easy" trail) with hundreds of steps and dirt roads, you're forced to dine in their restaurant, a room with a breathtaking view. There's a catch... the photos of the dishes published on the website don't reflect reality at all. We spent €100 for two people for a second course consisting of half a thin slice of swordfish, cooked to a slightly boiled effect, tossed on a base of bagged salad (a mix of radicchio and greens, very little), €27, along with two grilled eggplant and zucchini wafers. A cover charge of €7.50 each for pre-cooked sandwiches, half a liter of house wine (€15), a dessert such as Bindi, and a bitter liqueur. The red tablecloth was made of synthetic, non-iron material and wrinkled. In a place like this, I can pay even more for dinner, but everything has to be up to par. The same goes for breakfast, everything was defrosted and the cake was always packaged—€12 each. For a medium-sized dog, we paid €25 more (it was €35, which was a special price for us) than the price of the room booked through Booking.com, without having any utensils (a mat/bowl). As we very politely, merely as a suggestion, told the owner, simply charging high prices isn't enough to elevate the quality of the establishment; the factors that lead to that goal are multiple and interconnected. The exchange of opinions wasn't entirely pleasant, and the somewhat arrogant attitude and responses are what made me decide to write this negative review, something I never do. Advice: if you ever decide to go, don't bring a trolley, but a backpack.

18/09/2025: Why this hotel calls itself a resort is beyond my comprehension. The view from the room and from the restaurant terrace was fantastic. The super-nice colleague from Senegal made everything perfect; he was so friendly and so nice. Everyone else wasn't so keen on going in the off-season. But the boat trip is still worth it for relaxing and unwinding, including romantic sunsets. The prices are too high for what's on offer.

30/11/2025: The menu is only in Italian. The pizza is frozen, the seafood too, and the pasta is decent. It's a disgrace that anyone in Italy serves frozen pizza in a restaurant. It's better to remove it from the menu than sell it, but as the manager said, we're in a small Italian town, which probably meant that selling frozen food from the supermarket is acceptable here. Such low reviews are justified. The wine was good.

02/07/2025: Truly enchanting bar in the heart of Genoa! Atmosphere with attention to detail, welcoming environment and very kind staff. Excellent both for a quiet breakfast and for an aperitif with friends. Excellent coffee, and carefully prepared cocktails. Welcoming and familiar atmosphere. A point of reference in the center, I will definitely return!

02/07/2025: Not a daily customer but every time I come downtown… lunchtime we always eat sandwiches or rolls that I always order at the counter because I can choose by saying that I'll sit down. Together with a juice and a mineral water. Waiting time for drinks 5 min. I got up and before I could speak I was "run over": can't you see how many people there are? And then he ordered at the counter to skip the queue. And raising his voice more and more as we tried to answer: and then for two sandwiches! They will be the last ones

14/06/2025: Disappointed ! Ordered a Campari spritz but not quite sure what I got?? Same colour but definitely not the real thing ??? Very poor offerings for accompanied nibbles compared to other neighbours /competitors nearby !! Bruschetta offering was bread (not toasted) and Doritos 🤷‍♀️

14/05/2025: Super Wein und fantastische Tapas an einem schönen Platz in der Altstadt von Sanremo. Die Käseplatte war ein Traum und ebenso der Nebbiolo Rose

12/09/2025: When I ask if the shrimp are with their shell the waitress tell me 2 times “no shell no shell” , finally 3 fried shrimp with their shell …. Very disappointed. for 10euro that was a mixt with squid and octopus which were ok. I should have pick the store just next to it, 1 more euro but the shrimp were without theirs shell What is even the point of fried shrimp with theirs shell beside needing a hand wash and eating a cooked shrimp with no fried dough on it … At least the squid/octopus get some fried dough on it …

14/10/2025: Simple but great quality food. Great location in the old town and such lovely service. Good spot for a light lunch and a glass of wine.

27/09/2025: Really good coffee at the counter, friendly and fast staff. Prices are in line with the national average.

19/11/2025: The sliced ​​beef was surprisingly well-done, even overcooked. All the stars were for the lasagna. Both dishes were small portions, the smallest I've had in Italy; we were quite full after eating at other restaurants. The waitress's attitude was truly terrible. She stood by the table watching us less than three minutes after giving us the menu, as if she was rushing us to order. The food and water were served rather roughly; not very forcefully, but it felt like they were just placed there. I said "bill please" twice, but received no response. I followed her to the cashier to pay, because we still needed to eat ramen afterwards to feel full.

27/10/2025: They served truly awful chicken! They even charged an absurd price. I've eaten at several restaurants in Italy, and this was the only one that left something to be desired.
