04/07/2026: I chose this restaurant because it was one of the few Italian restaurants in La Spezia. Aside from the fairly friendly staff, we found many downsides.
The €7 Spritz was poured like a beer, obviously watered down; you couldn't even taste the Aperol. The food was low-quality considering the final prices. The seating was too cramped; you were almost sitting on top of each other.
30/06/2026: Pantondo, great location, not the busiest part of the city center. Good, simple dishes at a great price. Clear menu. If the outdoor tables run out, the terrace is expanded with tables from inside. Great, flexible solution. Friendly and quick staff.

14/08/2026: The only redeeming feature of the place: the view (and even that depends on where you're seated).
The service: rushed, unfriendly waiters, no attention to table manners whatsoever.
The food: I shared the restaurant's specialty with my husband, thinking it was a safe bet. It was a kind of paella-like risotto with a single, pathetic langoustine (not even a claw to keep the meat from getting lost). The rice was undercooked and far too spicy… In short, a complete disaster. We ate and left just as quickly.
There are much better restaurants in Vernazza, so don't fall into this trap!

14/08/2025: one star because you can't give less, good pizza but the boss is a very rude and impolite person after eating in his restaurant and having stopped in front waiting for my cell phone to charge I was kicked out of the restaurant because I had 2 backpacks behind me and according to him I was doing something that wasn't right, a shame also because the place was also nice m

13/08/2026: Let's start with the bill: too expensive for the quality of the food. Long wait and mediocre service. The table in a corner of the outdoor area was full of wasps. I definitely won't be returning. Plus, the fish was definitely not fresh!
30/07/2026: The pizza was tasty and arrived quickly after ordering, but the calzone was undercooked on the inside. The cheese was not completely melted. The seafood pasta was tasty, but did not arrive at the same time as the pizza. As a result, one person was sitting eating alone when our pizza had already been finished.

19/04/2026: It would certainly be a great place to return to, but out of the two people who served us, no smile, no gesture that made us feel welcome and welcomed, which, in the field I am in, perhaps is required??? For the rest, the place was clean (bathrooms need attention)

03/06/2026: Even though the kitchen was still open for another 20 minutes, we received a warm welcome. The dishes were delicious, especially the mussels in broth with tomato sauce. Great, cozy atmosphere, attentive staff.

27/07/2026: A good place, although the staff could be a bit friendlier – they lacked a smile. A big plus is the local beer, which is definitely worth trying! The Hugo drink tastes a bit different than what I'm used to in Poland, but it's an interesting change. Overall, a solid 4/5!
