11/01/2026: Cold place, cold bathroom, no soap, awful cooked ham and the worst thing is that for three people we paid 3 euros each for the cover charge, so an absurd 9 euros for the cover charge!

27/12/2025: DON'T GO THERE!!!! I don't know who wrote the 4* reviews.....for us, a Boxing Day to forget! . After being stuck on the highway for 2 hours due to an accident, at 2 pm we looked for an open place to eat in Busalla, I called this restaurant asking if they were still serving and they told us they were open. We sat down at a table of 6 at 2:30 pm. We ordered 2 mixed appetizers, steamed mussels, seafood salad, followed by trofie with pesto, two mixed grills, grilled prawns and sea bream. At 3 pm we received wine and water, then we waited until 4 pm! When they finally brought us something, they delivered steamed mussels (good, the only redeeming dish) along with seafood salad and trofie with pesto (overcooked, unsalted, badly drained pasta and poor-quality packaged pesto)....... The two mixed appetizers never arrived! When the main courses arrived half an hour later, the ribs were RAW and cold inside. The prawns were boiled rather than grilled, with the plate full of water. The sea bream were also partially raw! The price would have been fair for the dishes if the cooking and service had been up to par... €158. The only good thing was the pizza dough-based focaccia that they make fresh in the oven to accompany the main courses!

09/05/2026: We arrived at the same time as another couple. We waited half an hour for someone to take our order, but no one came. When we left, we saw that the people who had arrived at the same time as us were being served (appetizers and pizzas). We had specifically made a reservation to ensure we were served.

16/04/2026: Very nice place. That's about it. Service is very slow. There's a lot of pasta, but it's the cheapest kind, and the sauces are also clearly cheaply made. They're just trying to feed lots of tourists on the cheap. Better to go further inland to restaurants with homemade food. Even the two other restaurants nearby are significantly better. Update from yesterday: if someone doesn't want to eat, they put an empty plate next to them and demand the cover charge. I've never experienced such rudeness. I won't be trying again!

01/02/2026: It's really nice to find a place by the sea where you can eat well for lunch for 15 euros.

26/07/2026: Super delicious food. It tastes nice and fresh. Friendly owner. Customer-friendly. Nice and pleasant to sit in a cozy old restaurant. We will definitely come back.

17/07/2026: A run-down restaurant, €22 for three shrimp and five fried squid. They weren't terrible, but the portions were ridiculous for the price. The pizza chef was young and inexperienced, completely unprepared, and the pizza was completely mediocre. I see no need to tarnish Naples' reputation with pizzas that look like they came straight from a German restaurant. An experience not to be repeated; don't come! For these prices, you can find much, much better. I'm not surprised that the restaurant is empty and there's a sadness and squalor in the air.

08/05/2026: We had a very good meal, the staff were particularly friendly. Beautiful view of the harbor. A very good place to eat.

06/05/2026: We had lunch there and ordered two types of pasta: penne and Alfredo spaghetti. The spaghetti was incredibly rich. We also ordered a fried chicken strip, which was delicious. The only downside is that it's charged 5 euros per person, plus there's a tax on every order. They could have just offered one of the two. And I thank Ms. Nisreen for her excellent service.

05/08/2025: We've been to this restaurant in Ospedaletti three nights in a row and were thrilled each time. The fish was always incredibly fresh, carefully cooked, and truly delicious. We tried several specialties and, on a few nights, even ordered takeout because we wanted to eat at the hotel 🌸 The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Even though they don't speak any foreign languages, they always make an effort to understand their customers' needs and make you feel at home. The atmosphere is simple, familiar, and authentic—here you'll find locals who truly love their job and their restaurant, not just seasonal workers or random waiters. If you're looking for a luxurious place with high expectations, this isn't the place for you. But if you want to eat well in a warm and authentic environment, it's definitely worth a try! The prices are very affordable and fair!

04/08/2025: Excellent. From the outside, it doesn't look like anything special—just another restaurant like many others—but dining is a joy in every sense of the word. Quality, price, and courtesy. Highly recommended.

21/04/2026: Insulting disrespectfull owner and staff. They threw us out very disrespectfully just for playing billiard and not buying beer. Even though we pay for billiard. Worst experience ever.

02/09/2025: Yesterday morning, my partner and I stopped by for breakfast. I have to say, it was truly excellent: a slice of apple pie and cappuccino, a brioche with Nutella filling made on the spot, and coffee...all strictly homemade. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and we'll definitely be back.

27/08/2025: I confirm the previous comments: €5 juice, I would dare to add with oranges from the greengrocer NEXT door as they were on their way to buy more (short distance, so all in all); not to mention the rudeness. They don't see me anymore.

30/03/2026: Terrible experience!! Poor food and high prices for the cafeteria quality!! €2.50 per cover charge when you eat at the table without even a paper placemat! Dirty bathrooms with no paper or soap before dinner—a real shame!!! It could be upgraded in every way given the unique location!!! We won't be returning and we don't recommend it.

13/05/2026: I've been going to Finale Ligure for 3 years and I've always had a good time at the La Grotta restaurant. I recommend it to anyone going to Finale Ligure.

01/04/2026: A truly disappointing experience. I ordered classic lasagna, but it was anything but "classic": out of about 100 grams of product, the meat was practically nonexistent, perhaps barely 5 grams. More than lasagna with ragù, it tasted like pasta with sauce and only a faint hint of meat. When I raised the issue, the owner was rude and unprofessional, arrogantly responding with "I make it this way," with no willingness to listen or find a solution. To make matters worse, she also threatened to call the police for a legitimate complaint. All this for €13, a completely illogical price for such low quality and such customer service. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star, but I wouldn't have given it even one.

08/08/2026: A true landmark in Praia a Mare for generations. Top-notch coffee and more. Homemade ice cream and granitas made with local ingredients (I recommend the prickly pear granita). Extremely clean and welcoming atmosphere. Always friendly and helpful staff.

28/06/2026: Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing restaurant we visited during our entire Cinque Terre trip. The food was average at best and definitely overpriced for what you get. The pasta portion was very small, and overall it just wasn’t worth the price. What really let this place down, however, was the service. It was by far the worst service we experienced in Cinque Terre. Our waitress was unhelpful and came across as quite rude. They offered gluten-free pasta, but when we asked if it could be served with any of the other pasta sauces, we were simply told “no” because the dishes were already prepared. That seemed very strange, especially since most restaurants cook the pasta fresh and can usually adapt the sauce. My friend also ordered a focaccia that was so hard it was difficult to eat. When we politely mentioned it to the staff, their response was essentially, “It is what it is,” with no apology or attempt to resolve the issue. It’s a shame because the location is lovely, but the poor service and underwhelming food mean we wouldn’t return or recommend it.

26/03/2026: A lovely evening themed around Emilian cuisine, specializing in handmade tortellini and boiled meats. Impeccable service and a more than fair price. Definitely worth a visit.

22/02/2026: The owner is rude and unsuitable for the type of service they're trying to offer. Personally, the Barni wine shop is just a distant memory. If she feels like a queen, she's definitely in the wrong profession. Humility and customer service should be top priority! I personally don't recommend it. Take note of the numerous reviews about her and change your attitude from arrogant to kind!
