In my opinion, the prices are too high to justify the place and the quality of the food.
A 20 euro fish appetizer where the fish was almost absent and the salmon tasted stale...
The badly cooked grilled fish where I had to give up the overcooked tuna...
I gave up dessert and coffee to limit the DAMAGE...
honestly, the owners need to review some things. For me it was not a happy expense...

16/06/2025: Fantastico locale in un caratteristico "carugio" ligure. Ottimo il cibo e buonissimi anche i cocktail. Il personale ti fa sentire di casa. Ambiente rilassato e divertente! Ogni tanto si affaccia della fauna indigena molto interessante. Tornerò sicuramente! (Attenti ad Asia)

The fried fish is excellent.
The mussels with Gorgonzola are wonderful.
The pasta is fantastic; everything is wonderful, overlooking the sea.

24/10/2025: Excellent Italian restaurant with wonderful flavors and friendly service. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the flavors were authentic and the place was very warm and attentive. One of the best we have tried!

I highly recommend the pesto lasagna and stuffed tortellini with walnut sauce.
The pesto with any pasta is delicious.

27/08/2025: This year, Scalvini was my go-to breakfast spot during the August holidays. I chose to alternate a bit of everything from one morning to the next, trying various products: I started with a slice of classic Ligurian white focaccia (here without lard); with whole wheat and whole wheat with added seeds.
I continued with the brioche with just the right amount of sweet jam and a cream bombolone, perhaps a little too fried—I didn't digest it very well.
I finished with the vegan brioche with green stripes and finally with puff pastry squares filled with ham and stracchino cheese.
I went every morning when they opened, even though Ilaria makes you wait a few minutes... but the products and her friendliness definitely make it worth it.
11/08/2025: The focaccia is really good, fresh, and flavorful. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired; in a place that relies heavily on tourism, you'd expect at least a smile and a little kindness.

Expensive pizza, but black from the oven, with soot all over your hands and mouth.
Wine €3.50, but of terrible quality.
"Token" additions for €2!
Everything more expensive than the competition: cover charge, drinks, pizzas, additions, but definitely worse.

And eating on the sand overlooking the sea is priceless.
I would definitely go back.

Now they've changed management, and I didn't like it very much.
12/08/2025: Very spacious seaside restaurant with tables overlooking the beach.
The owner is brilliant and friendly.
We tried the fried squid and pasta with tuna: both excellent!
Highly recommended!
