25/02/2026: I ordered a rare fillet steak and got the classic sole. I would have overlooked it anyway! But despite making a reservation to watch a football match on SKY, a recommended venue, we left 15 minutes early because, at their request, they had to close.
17/02/2026: In a square in Bordighera, there's a restaurant with an outdoor veranda where I had a carbonara and my partner a pizza. Everything was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable.

11/11/2025: Restaurant service was too slow, the staff were untrained but friendly, the food was disappointing: poor quality, with frozen fries and vegetables consisting of just two slices of eggplant, overcooked and unsalted sea bream, and no appetizers (which is typical in Italy). It's a shame because this establishment was very good under the previous owners.
27/10/2025: A pleasant restaurant located on a newly renovated, quiet square on the plateau of the old town with a stunning view of the harbor. It's a lovely place to relax in the sun on the concrete benches. Accessible on foot through the beautiful alleys of the old town or by elevator, which ascends through the car and pedestrian tunnel beneath the old town. We originally only wanted a drink, but then decided to have a bite to eat: grilled anchovies and grilled vegetables. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Friendly service, and an authentic chef who came to our table for a brief chat.

A family-run restaurant that's been open for over 45 years. Mario, the owner, is always available and takes great care to please his customers.
I highly recommend it.
07/03/2026: For a restaurant with "Napoli" in its name, it's really not nice to serve quiches instead of pizzas... First time I've ever seen pizzas smaller than their main course.
The pasta was saltier than that beautiful Mediterranean seaweed... Going to sleep while adding salt is a no-go, Mr. Chef!
And the chef doesn't even know what a caffè ristretto is?! In Italy?! A disgrace!

The staff is wonderful and always welcomes you with a smile. The place is frequented by pleasant and kind people who create a comfortable atmosphere. The food and coffee are EXCELLENT.
Highly recommended, and I'll keep it close to my heart.

17/09/2025: The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. We ordered two tagliolini with mushrooms, but unfortunately there were barely any mushrooms (honey mushrooms), but the garlic was tasty. For our main course, two Ligurian-style rabbits, which were tender, but more than that... almost mush, and tasted like they'd been reheated several times. The final surprise was the €60 bill for a meal from the weekly set menu.

02/07/2025: Not a daily customer but every time I come downtown… lunchtime we always eat sandwiches or rolls that I always order at the counter because I can choose by saying that I'll sit down. Together with a juice and a mineral water. Waiting time for drinks 5 min. I got up and before I could speak I was "run over": can't you see how many people there are? And then he ordered at the counter to skip the queue. And raising his voice more and more as we tried to answer: and then for two sandwiches! They will be the last ones
02/07/2025: Truly enchanting bar in the heart of Genoa! Atmosphere with attention to detail, welcoming environment and very kind staff.
Excellent both for a quiet breakfast and for an aperitif with friends. Excellent coffee, and carefully prepared cocktails.
Welcoming and familiar atmosphere.
A point of reference in the center, I will definitely return!

01/06/2025: Por supuesto en estos lugares tan visitados encontrarás bistrós que atienden a los turistas a precios turísticos. El cuarto de baño es limitado e 'interesante' con una puerta corredera.

11/10/2025: Only frozen fish, no Ligurian dishes (the panissa is inedible), supermarket vegetables, amateurish table service (dishes are brought not in front of customers but behind them), and the price is unjustifiable given the beautiful view. One last note: if something has run out of menu items (at 1 p.m.), customers should be informed before or at the same time as the menu is delivered.

31/01/2026: The food was divine! I enjoyed everything; it was truly a delightful experience. We were greeted by a very kind and friendly lady who seated us and explained the menu. I had the paccheri
with seafood ragù, which I highly recommend. Then the sautéed calamari and shrimp. For my daughter, the tagliolini with tomato sauce (very fresh and delicate!) and a sea bass fillet with potatoes and artichokes (delicious!). My husband had the grilled calamari and shrimp, two glasses of wine, we spent a fair amount, and we also had dessert. Everything was delicious from start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant, also for its historic beauty.
Sorry I didn't take photos, but I preferred to eat! 🥰😀

10/11/2025: I'm sorry to have to report this. Yesterday I went to this bar with my son and husband. The management doesn't give you a smile, not to mention the cleanliness! If an inspection comes, they'll ask me!
So my advice is: clean up!
