31/12/2025: Very nice and romantic place, unpleasant service, very rude staff, we asked for two aperitifs, they only served us drinks, subsequently at my request we were brought (always rudely) some appetizers that were nothing short of awful, savory tart produced in 2020, which I then kindly offered to some needy pigeons, also the price was out of the ordinary to say the least, a lemon estathe with two rotten savory snacks, cost 5 euros, never again.

04/05/2026: We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Gabbiano. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and inviting, making it easy to unwind. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with quality ingredients and plenty of choice to start the day right. The location was also ideal—convenient yet peaceful, perfect for both exploring and relaxing. Overall, Hotel Gabbiano delivered a truly memorable experience with excellent service and comfort throughout. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again.

09/08/2026: It's not working, I explained what was wrong when I got the bill, but they pretended nothing was wrong!

05/08/2026: If I could give zero stars, I would. You would think asking what is fresh at a restaurant on the sea front called "the fisherman" would be a normal, reasonable question, but the staff here treated us like we were completely stupid for even asking, which was absurd as they only had one fresh fish which is not local. They are hands down the rudest and most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. We had a young child in our group and simply asked if they could bring his food out a bit earlier. Not only were they completely inconsiderate, but they flat-out refused. They refused to make a child's portion size which is very common in Italy. When I tried to advocate for feeding the child a little earlier I was told to speak to someone in the kitchen as the waitress said she couldn't help. The young woman at the back immediately started shrieking at me. A completely horrendous experience from start to finish. Save your money and go anywhere else.

25/07/2026: Excellent value for money. The meat is tender and very flavorful, the seafood salad is superb. And our children love the lemon scaloppine. Very well-maintained and clean, the car is parked in the shade of old olive trees, and you dine on a quiet, relaxed terrace. A real hidden gem.

16/09/2025: End-of-season treat. Yesterday, the last day of the establishment's opening, and this morning I realized I had a token left over for the paid hot showers. I asked the staff busy cleaning and tidying up the bar if it was possible to return it. The answer was yes, but we don't have €1.50 to give you in return. They were obviously in a foul mood, as Ligurians are always true.

31/08/2025: Amazing food! The seared tuna, spaghetti with clams, and mixed fried fish were delicious. Spectacular view of Bergeggi Island. Fast and friendly service. Fair price!

13/08/2026: PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!! (Actual review from 12/08/2026) Here are my reasons why: 1. They take orders when they are overcrowded. 2. You will wait over 30 minutes for you pizza. If you tell the waitress, she'll give you 'the receipt' of your payment WITH A WRONG TIME on it, so they will try to tell you that you are only waiting for 10 minutes in stead of almost 40. SUPER SCAM!! 3. Service won't listen to you. They will go do anything (random things) to avoid talking to you!!! 4. When we finally got our pizza's, they were not fully baked. Eventually we had to demand our money back. If you want to wait absurd long on a bad pizza and get scammed, this is your place to be.

11/08/2026: Very delicious food, prepared almost immediately after ordering you wait for food about 6 minutes

01/06/2026: 2 cones. Pistachio, stracciatella, pine nut cream, black cherry variegated. They all tasted pretty much the same: too sugary and you could barely taste the ingredients. The worst was the pine nut cream, which tasted like water.

14/05/2026: There's no need to criticize ice cream or not... But if you run an ice cream shop you should at least be able to put ice cream on a cone.

12/08/2026: An endless wait for a mediocre dinner (except for the pizza, which was good). Inconsistent service and a chaotic atmosphere.

08/02/2026: I didn't have a particularly positive experience at this pizzeria, where I returned after many years. The place was neglected, the pizza was undercooked, and the service was a bit unprepared.

20/12/2025: A very simple atmosphere, but the pizza and farinata are good, and the desserts are excellent. The hostess is very kind and friendly, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

09/05/2026: Every time I pass through Savona for lunch, I always enjoy coming back here. A truly pleasant seaside restaurant, the food is excellent: fresh fish, carefully prepared dishes, and quality you can taste. But the real difference lies in the kindness and attention to detail. As a railway worker, I often have limited time, and here I always find helpfulness, a warm welcome, and truly special treatment. Fast service, a relaxing atmosphere, and people who work with a smile. It's become a go-to place when I'm in the area. Kudos to all the staff! Friendly waitress!

30/01/2026: Poor food both in quality and quantity and high price

03/05/2026: Recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, we didn't know the restaurant was closed, but the beach bar was open. Aperitif dinner for €30 was very poor, I'd say we were all expecting more. Not easy to get to for those wearing heels because after several uncomfortable steps, you reach the rocks. The bar has no restrooms, which is very strange. I wouldn't recommend it for an aperitif dinner; the menu is poor and the chairs are uncomfortable. It would be useful as a bar in the summer for something cool, but still without restrooms.

21/02/2026: The atmosphere could be made a little "warmer" with paintings or something else, but they are really kind and we ate well. I recommend it.

07/12/2025: The pizza was of a very normal standard, even too much so, but surprisingly we ate an excellent farinata. Overall, thanks also to the price, it's worth it for an evening with friends.

30/03/2026: I had a lot of laughs with friends, unfortunately the rooms are very small. However, the meals are delicious. I recommend it for an overnight stay, but not for your vacation. I had diarrhea, so the toilets don't have locks, and the smell afterwards was awful. Add some nice-smelling spray.

04/08/2026: Terrible, a plate of appetizers from the bottom of the fridge, two agnolotti 30 euros, plastic tablecloth!!!!
