I discovered Otto Kraus by chance, on a business trip to Genoa and, please, for your own good, don't miss the chance to taste and try this type of approach to burgers. Truly one of the best I've ever tasted. And don't even consider the negative comments, the helpfulness and kindness of the owner are values ​​that are hard to find nowadays, even for those who work in contact with the public.

We tried several specialties and, on a few nights, even ordered takeout because we wanted to eat at the hotel 🌸 The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Even though they don't speak any foreign languages, they always make an effort to understand their customers' needs and make you feel at home. The atmosphere is simple, familiar, and authentic—here you'll find locals who truly love their job and their restaurant, not just seasonal workers or random waiters. If you're looking for a luxurious place with high expectations, this isn't the place for you. But if you want to eat well in a warm and authentic environment, it's definitely worth a try! The prices are very affordable and fair!

30/08/2025: An experience to forget!!!! Let's get to the point: a table for 6 adults and 3 children, decent but salty appetizers, inedible first and second courses (undercooked and poorly prepared)! The owner was rude and impolite. The bathrooms smelled like public ones, and in 2025 they don't accept credit cards! Oh... all without a receipt!!!! On a positive note, the waitress was kind.

Quindi non adeguatamente pulite. Chiediamo acciughe fritte specificando che vogliamo assieme una focaccia. Arrivano le acciughe ma non la focaccia. Nel frattempo servono pizze e focacce da asporto, che passano davanti alle ordinazioni dei tavoli. Se non fosse in passeggiata ad Alassio, a mio avviso sarebbe sempre vuoto.
