14/10/2025: The atmosphere and view is stunning, with a beautiful peaceful beach near by, and the waiter was really kind, friendly and patient. The food was fresh with local additions, and the fish were fresh from the Mediterranean sea just next to it. So, if you are in Celle Ligure, give Ca du Ma a miss and go eat at A Battigia. Ignore the one star reviews.
30/09/2025: RUN AWAY! This place is to be avoided and very expensive!
I'm from Celle Ligure, and unfortunately, I absolutely have to advise against coming to this place. A terrible experience. We sat down for an aperitif and were told it was no longer possible at 11:30 and that we could only be served chips. We sat down on the stools anyway, and after about twenty minutes, a couple sat down next to us and were served a small plate. Afterwards, I asked for an explanation, which was not given due to a "misunderstanding among the staff." In any case, the service was terrible and very expensive for what they offer. Avoid in Celle Ligure.

24/04/2025: Really lovely little spot. They do soya milk which is perfect if you’re vegan, and the staff are just genuinely kind, makes such a difference. Definitely worth a visit.

Not too salty, fragrant, and well-cooked: simply excellent. A must-try whenever you crave authentic Savona farinata.

Thin, crispy, and soft on the inside.
Try the one with cod.
Takeout available.
The only downside is that if you eat in, be prepared to smell like food.

11/11/2025: Restaurant service was too slow, the staff were untrained but friendly, the food was disappointing: poor quality, with frozen fries and vegetables consisting of just two slices of eggplant, overcooked and unsalted sea bream, and no appetizers (which is typical in Italy). It's a shame because this establishment was very good under the previous owners.
27/10/2025: A pleasant restaurant located on a newly renovated, quiet square on the plateau of the old town with a stunning view of the harbor. It's a lovely place to relax in the sun on the concrete benches. Accessible on foot through the beautiful alleys of the old town or by elevator, which ascends through the car and pedestrian tunnel beneath the old town. We originally only wanted a drink, but then decided to have a bite to eat: grilled anchovies and grilled vegetables. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Friendly service, and an authentic chef who came to our table for a brief chat.

31/08/2025: Dinner with friends, we ordered a pizza round based on the pizza chef's imagination, terrible pizza. They brought unlikely pizzas... all adult pizzas with chips and onions, no mozzarella, but it tasted like stracciatella burrata... heavy to obviously make the pizza round go down as quickly as possible. The dough was difficult to digest. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I will definitely not go back!

16/07/2025: Il posto è bellissimo e suggestivo, si mangia su una terrazza a picco sul mare. Cibo di qualità, ma le quantità andrebbero migliorate. In generale, rapporto qualità/prezzo non eccezionale, ma con una bella vista.
12/07/2025: Tre meritati punti per la cucina . Il resto nella norma , ambiente caotico, confuso, dozzinale niente di che . Peccato bastava poco per fare la differenza.
