15/07/2026: Before venturing out on my scooter to Verdeggia for the first time, I read the reviews of this place. Not all of them were positive, but I wanted to check it out. Lunch on the terrace, the owners were extremely kind. A good selection of first courses, second courses, and desserts. And since my wife is celiac, it was a great surprise! Gluten-free bread, pasta, and desserts aren't found in the "best" restaurants on the coast, but here they are. I had the sugeli, which I asked for with mushrooms, and my wife had gluten-free tagliatelle with speck and leeks. Water, wine, coffee, and gluten-free meringue pie were also included. The price was very fair. Thank you! A simple but refined place that should remain that way.

18/04/2026: Drawn by the many positive reviews on TheFork, we decided to make a reservation to celebrate a graduation at the end of February. The owner, calling shortly after the reservation, kindly and courteously told us about the "private room" reserved for us. We arrived fifteen minutes early (our reservation was for 7:30 PM), and were greeted at the door by a lady who invited us to return later, as neither the chef nor the owner were there yet (it would be interesting to know when, and if, they were cooking). Upon our return, the owner himself showed us into the wonderful "private room": a space under the stairs that had been reclaimed from brooms, probably unusable, with exposed brickwork and rusty grappling hooks (so much for HACCP...), which could easily injure an inattentive diner. I won't comment too much on the food, since when we ordered, we discovered that several dishes on the menu weren't even available, either because, according to the owner, "they took two hours to prepare," or the ingredients hadn't been delivered that day (which is still excusable). After settling for a fish starter and finding a dish whose flavor was completely masked by lemon and drowned in oil, we decided to give up, skipping any main courses and desserts. As we left, the very kind owner, I imagine almost ashamed, presented us with a bill worthy of a completely different establishment. We kindly urge him to review the restaurant's standards, or at least adjust his prices to his capabilities. We strongly advise against it. Furthermore, the owner's dishonesty was further demonstrated, as our reservation was listed as cancelled on TheFork, even though we had paid a considerable sum and ended up eating almost nothing.

12/04/2026: We had a great dinner; we loved everything. It's a small place, so I recommend making a reservation. Otherwise, everything was excellent. The service was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. It's a very local spot, as there are hardly any foreigners, but they treated us wonderfully, and the food was spectacular. The menu is short, but the exquisite quality more than makes up for it. A beautiful and delicious place; I hope to return.

30/03/2026: I had a lot of laughs with friends, unfortunately the rooms are very small. However, the meals are delicious. I recommend it for an overnight stay, but not for your vacation. I had diarrhea, so the toilets don't have locks, and the smell afterwards was awful. Add some nice-smelling spray.

08/03/2026: Reservations are recommended. Good, quality food. My only negative was the overcrowding, with tables too close to other diners. I'd recommend having fewer tables to improve both service and give diners a little more privacy. But I probably just found the evening a bit of a disappointment, perhaps. Overall, everything was fine.

18/11/2025: Botteghin is a place you'll always want to return to! Not only because it's open late and the atmosphere is truly pleasant (soft lighting and bottles everywhere), but also because the food is truly delicious! The cured meats, unique in their kind, are truly excellent, as are the cheeses! The focaccias in various flavors are delicious, and so are the desserts! I recommend the platter: for €18, you get a large plate of excellent cured meats, two varieties of cheese, and two pieces of vegetable tart, all accompanied by focaccia! The wine cellar is very well-stocked. Since 2025, they've been stocking a selection of French cheeses, which, paired with fruit compotes, are unmissable. Botteghin is also the only place in the area that stays open late, so you'll find it open even if you get hungry late at night! I recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends, as seating is limited!

11/03/2026: Very nice and welcoming place, but the cashier accused me of smoking the previous time when I hadn't, insisting as if I was in the wrong and without even apologizing, making me feel uncomfortable. I say, if you want to accuse me, at least go look at the cameras to confirm... otherwise, a good place, I recommend it.

22/05/2026: Looking for a good pastry shop... This LIDO was highly recommended. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I ordered a 2k Sacher torte. There was no writing on it (maybe a small square with the word SACHER written in dark chocolate), I wanted a nice, black, SMOOTH cake. They told me it would be rectangular (but it was fine). Instead, I received a square cake (it fits), but with strawberries on top, pieces of white chocolate, and a HUGE, barely legible writing that said SACHER... And the chocolate looked like milk chocolate, not dark chocolate. In short, it wasn't what I wanted... And it wasn't 2k either. Anyway, they paid less... But it wasn't MY CAKE. A total disappointment. Too bad... I really wanted it 😬😥

I still get emotional thinking about it, it was so good. The staff was exceptional, kind (that's never a given), attentive, and so friendly. The lady accommodated the children's culinary requests with kindness and a smile. A delightful person in the workplace... that's absolutely not a given. We'll definitely be back; I highly recommend it for a quiet, super-tasty dinner in a simple place that truly warms the heart! White and chickpea farinata (choice of various succulent toppings) was greatly appreciated by both adults and children. Wiener and chips: a super delicious dish, cooked to perfection. Much appreciated by the refined palates of two little girls. Thank you for your exquisite kindness. Congratulations to everyone! See you soon

28/01/2026: The stuffed farinata was very, very good! The service was good, friendly, and fast! While we were waiting for the farinata, we ordered an appetizer to share, which arrived promptly. We'll definitely be back! They also accept dogs!
