08/06/2026: This is a 7-euro Margherita pizza. Look at the size. As an Italian tour guide, I have eaten pizza all over Italy, but this is a truly shameful size. The staff at this restaurant shouldn't call themselves Italian. Think about why this place has such low ratings before you go in—no, don't go in.

01/06/2026: Disappointing experience. We came in for an aperitivo at a time when the place was practically empty, but were rudely ignored before anyone attended to us. The service seemed inattentive and uninterested in the customers. The most negative note, however, was the bathroom: after telling them we were drinking and indicating we were there for an aperitivo, I asked to use the restroom and was told to use the public restroom at the bus stop a few dozen meters away. An incomprehensible and decidedly inconvenient choice, especially for those with mobility issues or health problems. If that were their only restroom, I wonder how it's legally possible. It's a shame, because in a small town, hospitality and customer service should be a strong point. The aperitivo was passable, but there weren't even any napkins at the table. Not recommended.

30/04/2026: We drank coffee and ate ice cream. The girl who served us was very nice and kind.

19/04/2026: Upon arrival, we asked if we could choose a spot on the outdoor terrace. We were told that we could sit wherever we wanted. Afterwards, when paying the bill, it turned out that an extra €3 per person was charged for where we sat. This is not something that was told to us beforehand.

19/04/2026: Extremely rude waitresses. Could not believe how rude each of them were. Food ok but expensive. Would not recommend even though it was recommended by our hotel.

03/05/2026: ABSOLUTELY AVOID! The owner handles food, the cash register, and money without washing his hands or wearing gloves 🤬 He doesn't put food back in the fridge between orders. The waitress is very unfriendly; she drops bread on the floor and puts it back on the cardboard plate... etc. The health department would be wise to conduct some inspections...

09/04/2026: I happened upon this trattoria for lunch and found it to be a relaxed, family-friendly place. The owner is very friendly, and the food is good and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

21/03/2026: Found by chance, but loved for several reasons. Today, during our lunch break, we went to Trattoria Lombarda. Since we were three plus-sized people (one of whom was pregnant in her ninth month), we were seated at a suitable table. The waitress was quick, clear, and cheerful throughout the service. We ordered: 2 pizzoccheri, 2 ravioli with ossobuco ragù, 1 stew, 1 Lombard-style ossobuco, 2 mixed fried chicken platters, 2 side dishes, 4 desserts, and 4 coffees, unlimited water, and a soft drink. Everything was delicious, and the dishes were generous, well-seasoned without being overbearing. I love ossobuco and have never tasted it so good in Genoa, so for that alone, it's worth a try! I mopped up the meat and will definitely be back if I ever feel like eating more. Total cost: €85.50 with promotion (€21.37 per person); €155.50 without (€38.87 per person). We've seen that they often offer set menus. You can pay with Satispay. The price was more than fair for what we ate: good and plentiful.

13/09/2025: We went at night, and the staff were fed up, tired, or sick because the service was poor and the place was already very dirty. The food was average.

25/07/2026: Want to experience Portofino without ending up in the usual, overly formal restaurants? Here, the experience is simple but incredibly positive. Where do you sit? The place is basic; even the tables and the table setting are super simple, but it makes sense. Especially since you eat outside right in the alley, in a truly charming and relaxed atmosphere. What to eat We treated ourselves well, with a couple of unexpected treats that really stand out: The trio of tartare dishes not included in the menu was amazing, excellent and fresh. The mussels au gratin? Outstanding, truly top-notch. And the spaghetti with clams also got top marks, made just right. The bill Well, we're in Portofino, so the prices are typical of Portofino. But at least here, the quality is there, so the money spent is worth it. In short: A simple, no-frills place where you can eat truly excellent seafood in a gorgeous little alley. Highly recommended if you happen to be in the area.

05/10/2025: A very charming B&B set high in the mountains overlooking Levanto in the distance - the rooms are spacious and decorated simply, but comfortably. Mine had a day bed with views over the mountains towards Monterosso. The two ladies on reception were friendly and helpful and helped to steer us in the right direction when plans went awry due to the weather. The restaurant was reasonably solid - the pasta dishes were the standouts - the service inconsistent. Reaching breakfast at 10.03 am I was told that the chef had left so nothing could be done. After a bit of coaxing I managed to get a dry cake and a coffee. (Also there is no chef in the morning I later discovered ...) Relying on taxis is a pain - while the prices are ostensibly fixed, that is not the case. 'Speedy' - who seemingly lives up to his name by his driving and perhaps for other reasons - charged EUR20 over the odds per trip. So expect to pay circa EUR80 per day for two 15 minute trips. Great spot - but best to have your own transport and I'd suggest eating out, particularly if the breakfast is not included.

23/07/2026: ABSOLUTELY AVOID. RUN AWAY! A truly awful experience, from start to finish. Total disorganization, both in the service and in the billing. The staff didn't even seem to know what we'd ordered: confusion reigned between one dish and the next, and we had the feeling they had absolutely no control over the orders. Unfortunately, the food was even worse. The tagliatelle with clams arrived all stuck together, with virtually flavorless clams. The rest of the fish also seemed to be of truly terrible quality. A decidedly disappointing culinary experience. But the most absurd thing came when it came time to pay: they didn't seem to know how much we were supposed to spend. The bills were calculated on the spot, giving the impression that they were just sketching out the prices on the spot. A situation that left us truly incredulous and which, in our opinion, should never happen in a restaurant. Between terrible food, completely disorganized service, and a sloppy bill management, our experience was completely negative. We definitely won't be returning, and we absolutely can't recommend it.

27/07/2026: There were two of us, and we just wanted to order drinks. After 20 minutes, we politely asked the waiter if we'd like to order, and we tried several more times. He ignored us for an hour. Everyone else got their drinks. We finally left. I definitely wouldn't go there again.

09/07/2026: I went twice in the space of a month. The dishes were mediocre, but appropriate for the setting. The pizza, unfortunately, was terrible. Mine had mozzarella, provolone, and speck, plus zucchini...speck served with the rind, and zucchini that were clearly taken from the freezer and put on the pizza, given the amount of water they were pouring out. The result? The pizza was sent back practically whole. I politely pointed this out to the waitress, who was clearly disappointed, but the person in charge didn't even offer an apology...disappointing considering my lighter budget.

12/06/2026: A lovely evening, a very pleasant atmosphere, and the added bonus of the children's play area where they can enjoy dinner while the little ones play. As for the pizza, it was very good, but perhaps a little too thin for my personal taste. Overall, a great experience, worth repeating!
