A historic, highly prestigious venue. Having guests, I trusted them for an aperitif. The service was lacking, as was the notoriously excellent offerings. The staff were embarrassing in their tone and attitude, blaming their colleagues for the poor service. They were unprofessional and in bad taste.

Delicious, typical Ligurian food. The waitress was a bit curt, but polite throughout. We ate outside, under the arcades. Very pleasant.

27/04/2026: I tried Il Panson and I must say it was a delightful discovery. Delicious, carefully prepared, and flavorful food, all served in the splendid central location of Piazza delle Erbe. Perfect for both a relaxed dinner or an evening with friends in the center of Genoa. Highly recommended!
06/04/2026: Renovated historic restaurant, traditional Genoese cuisine, as well as Mediterranean dishes. They also have pizza! It's good and very easy to digest. Fast service, helpful and very welcoming staff. There were six of us, and we left very satisfied. For being in the historic center, the prices are excellent, and the quality is evident. We'll be back to try the lounge bar; the menu has some really tempting cocktails! Well done!
