09/08/2025: Five stars are too few for a fantastic experience. The welcome and service were punctual and extremely professional, a constant pampering. The dishes were excellent and the flavors lingered in the memory. Highly recommended for those who love gourmet and signature cuisine.

02/08/2025: What can I say? We went for lunch today and were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the place, the courtesy, preparation, and kindness of the staff. The food was poetry for the soul. We've called it our first choice from now on. The only downside was the end of lunch. We would have happily started again even though we were full. You are a marvel. Thank you so much for choosing Castelli Romani.

10/09/2025: The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly, and we immediately connected with the staff. The food was excellent. There were four of us, three adults and a child, and we started with the appetizer, which was excellent and plentiful. Then came the first courses. The cacio e pepe was sublime, but the carbonara was also excellent. We'll definitely be back.

23/08/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, and it was a delightful discovery. The food was excellent; the porchetta-filled ravioli were fantastic. I recommend trying the generous "Cueva" appetizer: everything was delicious, and the cured meats were truly excellent, from another planet. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, from the skilled chef to the young man who served us. We'll be back.

08/08/2025: We had dinner at this small restaurant. Unfortunately, we didn't have parking nearby, but next time we'll follow the chef's advice. The place where we ate was in a very charming underground cellar. We enjoyed all the courses, the inevitable porchetta and the Roman pasta dishes; the fillet steak was also very good. The only downside is the bathroom, which is a bit inconveniently located if you're eating in a cave. Overall, we had a great evening and will definitely return.

18/08/2025: Dinner in Ariccia with two couples of friends!! Very good food! Varied appetizer with local and homemade products! Amatriciana cacio e pepe and white or red wild boar ragù are delicious! Highly recommended! Friendly and helpful staff for any request!! Good price for the quantity and quality of food!!!

10/09/2025: I have known the Cioli brothers since 1987. I have always celebrated evening parties, communions, confirmations, weddings and so on with Cioli porchetta. Now I need more to celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary.

21/08/2025: I really don't understand the positive reviews; they probably refer to bygone times. Cleanliness is poor, and seeing four dogs sleeping peacefully in the dining room certainly doesn't look good; in fact, it immediately gives off a neglected impression. We ordered fried food and pizza: the fried food was awful, greasy and flavorless, while the pizza tasted like it came from a kebab shop, lacking any attention to detail or quality. The desserts were also disappointing; they were nothing special, giving the distinct impression of being packaged and not fresh. The service, unfortunately, was poor, inattentive, and completely unprofessional. To make the experience even worse, the prices are decidedly exorbitant for the quality and offerings. Overall, a disappointing experience that I wouldn't recommend.

01/09/2025: The only advantage, for those who like the hustle and bustle, is that it's located in the center of Ariccia, right at the entrance to the historic bridge. I was in a group, and I don't know how much it cost!

31/08/2025: We had booked for lunch and were seated outside (all good), except that we were very crowded (there were more tables than necessary in a small space) and in the sun because the umbrellas didn't cover some tables at all. We waited almost 40 minutes for our orders and just as long for the first courses. The dishes were all brought out of sync: an appetizer with a sandwich, followed by a pasta dish, and much later the main pasta dish. The sandwich and appetizer were very good and I recommend them, but the two pasta dishes (carbonara and gricia) were VERY tourist-catching, not good at all. All this was compounded by the waiters arguing with each other, and one waiter in particular was constantly complaining to us customers about the table arrangements and other things, saying he wanted to stay home, that he didn't want to be there, that he had to take vacation, etc. In short, not a very nice thing to hear. Finally, the bill, perfectly fair for what we ate, EXCEPT for the fact that they added a Coke and a bread basket that NEVER arrived at the table. For goodness sake, we paid €3, but at least they should be honest. If you're going to eat somewhere, I recommend taking out sandwiches and that's it.

29/08/2025: A different osteria from the others in Ariccia, but in appearance; otherwise, the food is always fabulous. Prices are a little higher, but nothing too scary. I tried it because I'd always heard about it but never had the chance. A great discovery. August 29, 2020, we returned for another meal, but we weren't entirely satisfied with the first course. The carbonara was almost bland, not as creamy as we remembered, and they used pancetta rather than guanciale. Disappointed.

27/08/2025: Very nice place, the owner is kind, friendly, and very courteous. The food was excellent. The cacio e pepe ravioli were a poem (I also recommend the one filled with porchetta). The porchetta was delicious. The quality/price ratio is excellent. You eat well and you don't spend a lot. I recommend it if you want to eat well.

28/08/2025: Our favorite fraschetta...superb mixed appetizers with typical products (the beans are special), generous and well-cooked first courses. The fresh berries for dessert are also excellent. The waiter is friendly and always available. The only flaw is the omelette is a bit salty and they don't have decaf coffee.

23/08/2025: We visited Il Brigante Gasperone in Ariccia, and I want to especially thank Andrea for his availability and kindness. He welcomed us with a smile, making us feel at home right away, and guided us through the selection of typical dishes with great professionalism and passion. The food was excellent, plentiful, and authentic, as per the Castelli Romani tradition, but Andrea's service made the experience even more enjoyable. Attentive, fast, and friendly, always ready with a joke or advice, he helped turn the dinner into a special evening. Highly recommended: we'll definitely be back!

27/03/2025: Ricordo che siamo rimasti delusi.. premessa che siamo venuti in questo locale per mangiare carne e porchetta, abbiamo poi ascoltato i consigli della cameriera prendendo un antipasto con focaccia e porchetta per poi proseguire con la loro spaziale carbonara.. Peccato che questo prima non era per niente buono, la crema liquida e il sapore tutto tranne che una carbonara. Ecco diciamo che il ricordo l’unico positivo è stata la focaccia con la porchetta. Non ci ritornerei mai.
