La Cueva In Ariccia

Very characteristic restaurant in the center of Ariccia. It has a very particular underground room. Very friendly staff and excellent traditional food. The appetizer of the cueva is worth trying (the porchetta and mortadella are spectacular!). Low prices. To try!

Truly delicious first course, tagliatelle with chestnuts, bacon and pears. Friendly staff.

The restaurant is located in the historic center of Ariccia. It is a very small place, the tables are very close together, and given the historical context, quite dark. The food is good, the dishes are not abundant.

Small place in an excellent location, easily accessible. Courteous and kind staff, pleasant and private environment. Excellent starters with local cured meats and porchetta. I haven't had the opportunity to taste the wines but I trust they are of good quality. We will definitely be back!

Nice place, good food and well presented by the staff. The Fork discount applied perfectly. It's a shame about parking which is scarce in the area on Saturdays. Few seats and a little narrow but I would go back anyway.

Siamo stati lì un mesetto fa, devo dire tutto ok antipaato cueva mi aspettavo una porchetta più croccante e non fredda, primo carbonara buono e anche tiramisù. Tutto sommato bene.

Localino poco distante rispetto alla posizione delle classiche fraschette di Ariccia, serve prodotti simili nella sostanza ma anche migliori nella qualità. Più intimo, ordinato, pulito, già questo un ottimo punto di partenza. Assaggiato un ottimo tagliere che spaziava dai classici affettati quali prosciutto, salsiccette, mortadella tartufata, salame, porchetta (piccolo trancio tagliata sottile saporita e molto buona), a coppette mix verdure. Siamo poi passati direttamente alle fettuccine condite con guanciale, pere e castagne: amalgamate bene poiché il guanciale era croccante il giusto e nessun sapore sovrastava gli altri...tutto accompagnato da un buon montepulciano da pasto. Ragazza in sala gentile non invadente, apprezzata la breve descrizione dall'antipasto.... Torneremo per gustare una cena o un aperitivo, si è possibile anche quello, nella grotta e per ritrovare le luci di Ariccia!

We came across this place after meeting the owner in the church square in Ariccia and then we decided to try his place. It is well kept and clean. The aperitif we were given was particularly rich and drank well. To be done instead of dinner given the quantities.
