10/12/2025: A casual but pleasant place. The food is decent, but people come here primarily to choose an excellent bottle of wine from the extensive list. The spirits are also very interesting. A word of advice...remove any empty bottles from the list that can no longer be refilled.

11/04/2026: Truly a beautiful and very quiet place. Dishes are prepared the old-fashioned way, without too many frills. Delicious food, generous portions, and a varied menu to suit all tastes. The owners are friendly and very approachable. Highly recommended for a few quiet hours away from the hustle and bustle. Dining in the garden will definitely be even more pleasant in the summer. We'll definitely be back soon!

22/12/2025: Beautiful location, we didn't stay, but only had lunch with the family...fast table service, attention to detail, and finally the dishes were all together. Compliments, highly recommended.

01/04/2026: An exceptional experience (and one worth repeating, like any surprising discovery). A small restaurant where you can get pizza to go, or stop to order and enjoy it at the small tables. You can choose between pinsa or round pizza: the dough is very light and easy to digest. The chef is incredibly talented! Homemade desserts are also available. A welcoming and courteous atmosphere, in a simple setting.

28/04/2026: I went to Avalon Pizzeria in Bolsena and had a really good time. I had a calzone, which was very good and well-filled, and I washed it down with a cold beer. The kids also had a great time; the atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly. The service was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a positive experience, we'll be back!

11/04/2026: A great evening with friends ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We dined here with two other families (three families with children in total). The welcome was excellent, and the space is suitable for large groups. We focused on the pizzas and were all satisfied: well-cooked and light. We also had several beers and liqueurs. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff friendly. We'll definitely be back!

03/05/2026: Ricotta and spinach ravioli (with nutmeg) are superb, even on the road. In Tornimparte, for Sunday lunch, the ravioli from "Pasta all'uovo Maria" were a hit. I'd love to make them again... with a different filling. 💯

08/06/2026: Pizza, local dishes, meat, burgers. Food for all tastes. Very spacious place; in our case, the indoor dining areas weren't furnished, so we only had outdoor tables, protected by a nice canopy. The only criticism, which doesn't apply to this place but to places offering outdoor seating in general, is that there's no designated non-smoking area. The summer months are a disaster for non-smokers.

All you have to do is step inside and let yourself be transported by Roberto and his wife, who will offer you a truly blissful experience, while also delighting your palate with some of the finest ingredients in the entire Comino Valley. A truly special place!

21/04/2026: A truly delightful Sunday lunch immersed in nature. Fata Verde Orto e Locanda is a small haven of peace in Alvito, where you can experience authenticity and attention to detail. The food is fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care, showcasing local produce. I really appreciated the willingness to accommodate special needs (I don't eat carbohydrates, and the alternatives were incredibly tasty), a sign of true customer care. The owner and the staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and always smiling, helping to create a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. They were truly indulgent with our children, who were sometimes quite noisy. A place I recommend to anyone seeking good food, tranquility, and authentic contact with nature. I will definitely be back! Also because the parmigiana you served reminded me of my grandmother. I was moved, that's all. I think summer evenings spent in your garden are wonderful.

07/06/2026: Good food, shame about the service. There were only three of us at lunch. They forgot a starter. I told the waiter, and after 40 minutes, the missing entree still hadn't arrived. Plus, I was charged €5 more per dish, for a total of €35 more on my bill. If you go to this place, check your accounts.

07/06/2026: The food is excellent, the service is a bit slow, and the atmosphere is a bit too dark (the black walls don't let any light into the room).
