11/10/2025: Extremely delicious food, the grilled artichokes and grilled brocoli were very good starters. The meatballs and the caccio e pepe were also delicious! Small menu and quite expensive, but great food.
06/10/2025: A nice little place. Unfortunately, we felt like we were being ripped off as tourists. The Aperol was more water and ice than anything else. The wine in the glass was getting smaller and smaller, and there was no water for the Espresso No. 1, even though others had gotten it first. We practically did the service ourselves. A nice place nonetheless. You can tell that many locals feel at home here and come by. Maybe we're just unlucky because we're not Italian.

30/06/2025: Non fatevi ingannare dall’esterno: il locale sembra anonimo, ma dentro è una piccola perla. Ambiente curato, raffinato, arredato con gusto. Ti conquista subito. Accoglienza impeccabile, soprattutto grazie a Maurizio, il proprietario: preparato, educato, ma anche simpatico e coinvolgente. Presenta piatti e vini con competenza e passione, senza mai prendersi troppo sul serio. Il Gewürztraminer 2021 di J. Hofstätter che ci ha consigliato è stato un abbinamento perfetto per tutta la cena. Gli antipasti ci hanno stupiti: polpo con patate e pomodorino, tenerissimo e gustoso; calamari con valeriana e frutta, originali e ben bilanciati; parmigiana con mazzancolle, polpo e patate, davvero sorprendente. Nei primi abbiamo trovato gusto e creatività: tagliolini con moscardini e 'Nduja (mare e piccante al punto giusto), e tagliolini con seppioline e pachino, classici ma eseguiti molto bene. Come secondo una frittura di calamari, leggera e croccante. Niente dolce (eravamo sazi!), ma una grappa "Elisi" di Berta ha chiuso la serata in modo perfetto. In sintesi, una scoperta meravigliosa nell’agro pontino. Torneremo sicuramente, anche per l'ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità!
13/06/2025: In occasione di un pranzo di lavoro, ho avuto il piacere di vivere un’esperienza gastronomica di livello altissimo, che merita una menzione speciale sotto ogni punto di vista. 1. Il Locale La location si è rivelata perfetta per un incontro professionale: elegante ma discreta, curata nei dettagli, silenziosa quanto basta per consentire conversazioni riservate, e al contempo accogliente e confortevole. Un equilibrio architettonico e stilistico che comunica immediatamente il valore e la raffinatezza dell’esperienza che si sta per vivere. 2. Accoglienza e Professionalità Il ristoratore, insieme al personale di sala, ha saputo distinguersi per cortesia, educazione e altissima professionalità. Ogni gesto, ogni attenzione al cliente, ogni spiegazione sui piatti è stata improntata a un servizio di classe, misurato e puntuale, che ha saputo far sentire l’ospite importante, senza mai risultare invadente. 3. Qualità degli Ingredienti La selezione delle materie prime si è rivelata eccellente. Ingredienti di altissima qualità, lavorati con competenza e rispetto, valorizzati senza forzature, in una cucina che esalta la qualità e la stagionalità dei prodotti. È evidente la cura maniacale nella scelta di ogni singolo elemento del menù. 4. Abbinamenti di Sapori e Presentazione I piatti proposti sono stati un vero trionfo del gusto: accoppiamenti audaci ma perfettamente bilanciati, sapori che si fondono in un’armonia sorprendente, consistenze calibrate e profili aromatici raffinati. Ogni portata è stata un’esperienza sensoriale, servita con una presentazione impeccabile e una cura estetica che riflette l’arte della cucina d’autore. Conclusione Un pranzo di lavoro trasformato in un momento di autentico piacere culinario. Un’esperienza che coniuga altissima qualità, eccellenza professionale e attenzione al dettaglio. Un luogo in cui il valore dell’accoglienza e della cucina si esprime ai massimi livelli. Assolutamente eccezionale.

With calm and helpfulness, he guides you through your choice of dishes, then moves on to the wine selection, which he makes excellent recommendations for. The dishes are rich in flavor and well-composed, while maintaining generous portions. Each dish is absolutely delicious. Simply put, Locanda Ercole takes you on a culinary journey across the Mediterranean coast. Highly recommended!
21/10/2025: A great evening spent in the center of Fondi, just a stone's throw from the famous "Baronial Castle"... exquisite food and brilliant staff... I'll be back soon.

15/11/2025: We had dinner as a couple at this fabulous restaurant, and everything was perfect. Let's start with the service: incredibly refined, the fantastic Sara served us from start to finish, taking care of every detail of the dinner. A huge plus was her meticulous knowledge of wines, which allowed her to recommend the perfect pairings to accompany the dishes served. The cuisine: delicious and innovative dishes, we really appreciated the inclusion of fresh truffles on the menu. I personally had the sea urchin gnocco with saffron and fresh truffle, and it was a fantastic experience. The appetizers were quality, and another plus was the freshness of the ingredients, which was evident from the first bite. So, a big round of applause also to the kitchen team for all the effort and care they put into their dishes. Finally, the gift box as a bill holder was a really nice idea. Well done Davide, the owner, a delightful person with great, innovative and high-quality ideas. We had the pleasure of chatting with him at the end of the evening. We were intrigued by his vision of cooking and the care he takes in selecting the ingredients he uses. Congratulations to everyone, we'll be back soon to delight in your cuisine.
