17/11/2024: The simple and spartan tavern we were looking for. Relaxed atmosphere, friendliness and professionalism, good food, reasonable prices. I suggest expanding the menu with traditional local dishes.

14/10/2024: The place is nice and the food is good. The cold cuts on the platter were of high quality (raw ham cut in the room and with a knife) and the omelette with truffles was also good. The first courses were really well cooked and tasty. Personally I didn't appreciate the lime zest and nice tagliolini with cheese and pepper but, I repeat, it's just a personal taste. The choice of wines is also good. The only flaw... the service... really too slow, considering that on Thursday evening there was only our table with 10 people. Too much waiting time for the starter and then between the first and second courses. If the wait was shorter you could certainly taste a few seconds too.

25/12/2024: I went for dinner with my family in July 2023, despite it being high season, the service and food were more than spectacular. I had read good comments about this place, however my expectations were exceeded. I made the reservation speaking in Spanish through Instagram without any problem. I definitely recommend and would return!

23/12/2024: The focaccia with colonnata lard and the characteristic Amatriciana served in the pan are excellent. Perfect Roman environment. Friendly, helpful and not at all intrusive staff

09/11/2024: Perfect meal. We were very welcomed, waiter was excellent, we chose amatriciana, it was delicious! We also wanted different glasses of vine and they opened two different bottles just for us. Everything was great! Thanks for the amazing meal!

18/11/2024: Sulla strada per Caprarola per visitare Palazzo Farnese, ora di pranzo, le 13,30 passate, vediamo l'insegna e ci infiliamo nel parcheggio di questo ristorante. Vista panoramica splendida nonostante fosse novembre. Entriamo e nell'immensa sala ci sono due tavoli occupati da famiglie e una signora al banco. Chiediamo vista l'ora se è possibile mangiare qualcosa e la signora ci fa accomodare al tavolo. Menù abbastanza profondo sia come ristorante che come pizzeria. Scegliamo dei crostoni di pane, evitando i condimenti a base pesce, e due piatti di fettuccine ai funghi porcini. Tutto buono e ben fatto. Un pranzo onesto, nel senso che abbiamo mangiato bene, ben serviti e sopratutto in un ambiente tranquillo. Il ristorante come struttura è fermo a qualche anno fa, ma è rassicurante e arioso. In estate deve essere uno spettacolo la vista panoramica che si gode dal giardino. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato.

25/12/2024: 3 stars for the location, truly beautiful and well looked after, and for the welcoming, professional and very friendly staff, unfortunately the food was a huge disappointment, Christmas lunch only the dessert was saved, too bad.

24/12/2024: The property is located in a very quiet area away from the chaos, overall well maintained and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable. What is noteworthy in my opinion is the courtesy and availability of the staff encountered, a particular thanks to the girl at the reception met on the evening of arrival (I think she is Francesca) who excellently solved an administrative problem caused by my distraction and with politeness, courtesy and professionalism allowed me to have a pleasant stay. Thank you.

11/12/2024: Very terrible service and I felt them to be so racist. It started from when entering the store with them telling us to wait 2 minutes outside while they sat other that came after us. Also after being seated many that came after were being served and I felt like me and my wife were being ignored. Asked 4 times to be served as they kept saying 2 minutes it was outrages. There were in total 5 workers all standing around while they told us 2 minutes every 2 minutes. Terrible terrible service and atmosphere. Store is too tight to the point where your arms are touching the people next to you. Disgusted

01/12/2024: We recently had dinner at this restaurant, we went there because I had heard good things about it. We got three first courses and three second courses. The first courses compared to what we saw brought to the others were smaller portions and among other things mine was even less than that taken by the others (one of the two had taken the same dish as mine) and if the portions are weighed they do not it should be like this... above 20 euros per dish, but with the tuna steak 24 euros per dish 80/100 grams if it was the otoro I could have fit but it was a normal quality. We made a note to the waiter as soon as the dishes arrived which he denied, laughing in our faces several times, he made a scene of going to the kitchen to come back and repeat the same things, always laughing in our faces that the portions were standard but I assure you that this was not the case because three of us noticed this and saw the portion brought to the next table. It was a targeted choice and we made sure of this based on what we had seen before ordering the second one given that the first one was small. VERY BAD I HAD NEVER HAPPENED TO A WAITER LAUGHING IN MY FACE LIKE THAT (AND SEVERAL TIMES) I HAD TO GET UP AND LEAVE. After tasting the cut, we ordered a chewy fried calamari (one of the worst I've eaten) which was always a small portion. If you charge 23/24 euros for a fried dish, you can't show up with such a small portion of calamari. Unfortunately, after the notes made, it was offered to us together with the bitters, which is why I gave it two stars. Respect and education is the first thing. Never again. PS I smile at the offensive response (but they have never disrespected the customers) of the owner who didn't see the various skits as if I had invented it who was laughed in our faces several times... What do you call it? Education? Between 100 grams and 200 grams of cut, even a non-expert person would notice this... or even someone who needs eye maintenance as you say. You tried and he told you wrong. Bathe in humility and education. We followed his suggestion and we reflected extensively that 50 euros for a first and second course of those portions in our opinion should get the Michelin star so as to avoid criticism.

05/01/2025: This is a great special occasion restaurant in Rome and we visited twice on 2 separate trips approx 8 months apart. Let’s start with the atmosphere - it’s stunning, like a garden oasis in the heart of Trestevere. The service is very relaxed and for those who are unaccustomed to the leisurely pace to which things move at Italian restaurants, it can seem slow, but what I’ve found is that unlike in the US, they don’t rush their guests. They take great pride in what they serve and although some dishes are a miss, there are some amazing items on the menu worth trying. The focaccia is definitely worth ordering and is enough to share with 3 - on my latest visit I enjoyed the ‘saltimboca’ which was delicious - they said it gets cooked ‘medium,’ but was definitely on the rare side which was ok for me, but may not be everyone’s cup of tea. The prices are high, even by Rome standards but I do feel like the quality of their food matches the price. The tiramisu is maybe the best we had in Rome. I’ll look forward to coming back here again on our next visit.

04/01/2025: 'pretty food for pretty people who don't eat'; our conclusion after eating at this attractive, instagram-ready restaurant for lunch. While the meal started well with delicious focaccia and puntarelle salad, the mains were a mess, one pasta so salty it burned our throat, and veal smothered in so much mayonnaise it was difficult to fish out the meat. Flavors were confused and bland. Not at all worth the price, or the hour wait for the food to show up.

15/12/2024: It confirms what excellent previous visits had offered. On par with the top three restaurant establishments in Viterbo. Entering the bistro is like entering the dining room of a friend's house, welcoming as is the service, discreet but attentive and present, the food offers excellent quality raw materials. Very small flaw, not a criticism but a tip for cooking, pay attention to the rabbit sauce, very slightly savory, but I was being picky. Top top top, see you soon

07/12/2024: The venue is cute. The traditional Roman dishes (gricia and cacio e pepe) worth reviewing, the pecorino not creamy but lumpy, hard bacon (?) The second one is good. The bao for appetizer is very good. So-so service.

29/08/2024: Discovered, by chance, during this holiday period my normal points of reference are closed. Food like at home, you can choose from various proposals and the staff, specifically I interacted with Matteo, are friendly and kind. I would recommend it without hesitation.

01/08/2024: In my opinion it is one of the best places to eat during your lunch break. Express cuisine, excellent quality of food and raw materials, healthy cuisine. A round of applause to the staff who work there, always kind and friendly, ready to do their utmost, if necessary, for any off-menu request. Ask for Matteo, always available, for any information.
