02/11/2025: Disappointed. Let's start with the positives: Interesting location, overlooking the lake, large pergola with many tables, and indoor dining rooms with just as many. Helpful and friendly staff. Quick service, despite the large crowd. Large and convenient reserved parking, fairly low prices. The negatives: But the most disappointing aspect came from the food. The seafood appetizer with octopus (tough and tasteless) tasted like the kind you buy in plastic jars at supermarkets. First, I had cannelloni, and they were too soft—perhaps the pastry was too thin. In any case, they were too soft, but the flavor was good. The fried calamari was also soft, with almost no breading, so rather white and not that nice crispy, golden look. What a shame! I had higher expectations, as my son (who had already eaten there) recommended it, but he was also disappointed. Maybe it was because there were too many people on the holiday. Maybe I'll go back someday, who knows, with fewer people...

01/11/2025: Lunch overlooking the lake. Family-friendly atmosphere. Reservations are recommended on weekends. The spaghetti alla chitarra with perch sauce is delicious. The pasta e fagioli is also good. The sautéed chicory is tasty and plentiful. A lake fish main course is a must-try. The bread is bland. The house sparkling white wine is a must-try. We'll return.

12/09/2025: Good quality pizza and fish menu

16/08/2025: We had dinner the night before Ferragosto (August 15th) and had a great time. This evening we returned with some friends and ordered the pizza menu. Since I have trouble eating pizza and bread, I asked for bruschetta with ham (since that's the only way I can eat). What did they bring me? Reheated bread. I called the waiter, telling him I'd asked for bruschetta, and he simply replied that they make it like this (he didn't say I'll have him remake it, even if he was rude). In my house, bruschetta means toasted bread, not reheated bread. Anyway, the waiter was rude. When my husband was inside to pay the bill, he thought we were leaving without paying, and he started yelling. Total disappointment.

29/06/2025: Simple tavern, pay attention to quality! We ate very well. We were passing through and if we can we will definitely return.

09/05/2025: A simple and charming little restaurant. Family-run, the food is excellent.

08/10/2025: Order placed at 4pm via the app, and upon collection, the order was cancelled by the store without any explanation. The fact is, it was cancelled 2 and a half hours later.

15/09/2025: A very good self-service gelato shop: you help yourself and build your own gelato, which you then pay by weight. The quality is truly high: I tried a salted caramel gelato, and it was one of the best I've ever had in Rome, with a distinct salty flavor. The employee was also very kind and friendly. The only flaw: the price. €25/kg is excessive, especially considering there's no service. In Rome, the average price is €21–22/kg. This is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

21/05/2025: Después de visitar San Pedro, estábamos buscando un restaurante en la zona del Vaticano. Encontramos este restaurante basado en comentarios de TA y no nos decepcionó. El restaurante tiene un menú muy bueno con un montón de platos de pasta y pizza. Decidimos probar la pizza para variar y estábamos encantados de lo deliciosa que estaba. Si buscas un restaurante en la zona vaticana, te lo recomendamos fácilmente.

09/11/2025: I visited this restaurant during a stay in Rome. Since I'm in the city of carbonara, I ordered it, and the result was terrible. The pasta was completely undercooked, it crunched in my mouth, they used pancetta instead of guanciale, the carbocrema was nonexistent, and to top it off, they used parmesan instead of pecorino romano. The staff was unpleasant. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

08/11/2025: I went on November 8 and was very disappointed. To start, they brought us four slices of bread that no one had asked for and put them on the bill. We had pasta, and the carbonara crunched in the mouth; it was made with bacon that wasn't crispy, cheese, no pecorino cheese, and the carb cream was nonexistent. Next, we had tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, which was always raw. The staff would take it away while you were eating, and they were insistent and rude.

04/09/2025: There's very little choice of bread to make your sandwich with, all the ones available are dry and hard. If you sell bread, at least do it. It's flour, not caviar.

12/11/2025: A disappointing Sunday experience with dishes missing from the menu, perhaps due to the rainy day, or perhaps the lack of customers in the dining room (only two tables, including ours). Very spicy octopus alla Luciana without sauce, fried food with only calamari, and cold octopus with potatoes. And to tell the truth, a few years ago I had a very good experience...

15/11/2025: A very traditional and welcoming place. We waited a bit after booking, but they were kind enough to offer us focaccia, and it was worth it anyway. The suppli were delicious and packed with mozzarella; the thin pizza with lots of toppings was delicious. The saltimbocca and oxtail stew were also delicious. Great prices. Congratulations, guys!

12/11/2025: We ate there several days in a row for much less than in the city center. The meals were always generous and delicious. All the servers are lovely.

20/11/2025: Ambient, moody, and modern. If you like Rihanna, the Weeknd, or Gorillaz, I have a feeling you'll love Spirito. The drinks are themed after historical graffitis of Pigneto, and are crafted to an art. Perfectly cut ice, clear and punchy notes, and even the non-alcoholic drinks don't shy from excellence. My date and I are definitely more indie-lounge-by-candelight folks, but the employees were incredibly warm and sociable--they did not hesitate to accommodate me as an English-speaker, and were open to conversation.

02/11/2025: The service isn't up to par for the price, incredibly slow, and the cocktails are either wrong or never arrive. There were a lot of us, but you can't bring cocktails without knowing who they're for, so let me get them at the bar. The food arrives after the cocktails. The cocktails are incredibly complicated, and they don't know how to make a decent Long Island. The music is very loud.

07/11/2025: We come here every time we're in Rome. Always delicious food and friendly service. The bruschetta and pollo alla romana are highly recommended. But everything we've had here has been good.

06/11/2025: We visited on our first day and returned every day after. The staff are excellent and could not be more helpful. The food was classic Italian and of excellent quality. The Carbonara was a favourite as was the Bruccetta

08/10/2025: Nice location for eating outside as you are right across from the park. Good food, friendly staff.

14/09/2025: Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, we dined on the veranda, we had a table set up. Disappointed with the food: the mussels weren't cleaned properly, the poached octopus didn't taste good, I sent the dish back almost intact, the bread seemed stale...we were very disappointed.

05/11/2025: Finally, a place that offers a unique alternative to the usual flavors! Here you can taste excellent cocktails and other top-quality products, prepared with care and attention to detail. The young man who served me was very kind and, what's more, a native American speaker, an added bonus for those who want to chat in English. Highly recommended, even for tourists!
