01/10/2025: Everything was delicious and the hospitality was truly perfect.

27/08/2025: At Dar Maghetto, you'll have a unique experience not just about food but about what we all call the vanished Rome of trattorias. Trattorias are about sharing, with their strengths and weaknesses. If you're a Roman, he might seem rude and grumpy, but he's only Roman! Behind those words and those gestures (which you have to learn to understand) lies a life of sacrifice and kindness. Even at almost eighty, you can't forget that's er MAGHETTO! You come in, you sit down, you make a joke, and you repeat it, sure he won't take offense (but you shouldn't be offended, otherwise it's worthless). You order drinks and chat, you order food and chat (with everyone, including foreigners; oh God, I even have a problem with talking to everyone). Then he comes to eat and you eat well, as tradition dictates in a trattoria with no frills but substance. Then er Maghetto arrives and asks, "Can you taste it for me to see if it's good?" A plate of tripe, obviously, it's Friday and Saturday in Rome, tripe is traditionally served. This is to make you understand that the food on the plate is also part of the experience, and the Maghetto experience is a 10 all-inclusive.

26/10/2025: A small, truly homey restaurant... extremely friendly owners and waitresses... excellent and friendly service... excellent food... like eating at grandma's on Sundays... bruschetta with creamed cod... surprisingly good... stellar pasta e fagioli with egg pasta, broken by hand, I think, like pasta ammischiata... tasty meatballs and tiramisu just like the ones they used to make... a truly delightful lunch... at a truly more than fair price... very good... and see you soon...

25/04/2025: If you're a tourist like me, I wouldn't recommend even going near it. The atmosphere is wonderful, but the service is absolutely nonexistent. The food is yesterday's, reheated.

21/04/2025: Drawn in by the reviews, I can only confirm. The food and quality of the ingredients are excellent, the place is welcoming, the service is attentive but not intrusive, and the value is excellent. Their homemade pasta is a must-try. We also discovered they host themed evenings, like murder mystery dinners. We'll definitely be back.

11/10/2025: Let me start by saying that I've been going to this bar since it opened and have always had a pretty good experience, especially considering the very reasonable prices. That was until it caught on in the neighborhood and obviously raised its prices. But that's beside the point. What happened this morning is shameful to say the least. I arrive, ask the owner for a latte macchiato, and... maybe he was too busy talking to other customers and didn't give me time to complete my order. I wait a bit and see that nothing has changed because he continues to blissfully listen to others rather than me. So I decide to sit at the table and wait for someone to come over, until I hear someone WHISTLING at me from behind. I turn around and it's the owner himself. He probably thought he was calling his dog, not a regular customer. Anyway, I don't have time to say that we want a latte macchiato and a cappuccino before he rushes back inside, and for the second time, I don't complete my order. So, a waitress arrives with a cappuccino and latte macchiato, and I ask for a cream-filled pasticciotto from Lecce. It arrives at my table almost immediately, and I notice it has a very strange and unpleasant taste. I eat about half of it, turn it over, and it's covered in MOLD. I bring it back to her, and her excuse was, "It can happen." Well, it shouldn't happen. It's different. Next time, whistle at someone else, dear owner of Sfoglietella. And above all, try to have more respect for your customers and check the food you sell.

05/10/2025: Restaurant in Riano, visited for lunch. Family atmosphere, excellent quality meat. Fresh ingredients, fair prices, especially considering the quality of the food. Truly delicious homemade desserts. The owner and staff are courteous and engaging.

05/11/2025: We can't judge the quality of the food because we weren't able to try the restaurant, but we feel compelled to point out the lack of seriousness and professionalism. We booked days in advance, but our reservation was canceled with the excuse that they had another pending reservation, which they thought wasn't confirmed. A disappointing experience for anyone looking for even a modicum of reliability in service.

12/10/2025: A high-end restaurant. A warm, family-friendly atmosphere where you can chat at the table. Intriguing, high-quality dishes. Try the spaghetti with sea urchins and the espresso tiramisu. Congratulations!!

20/11/2025: Nice location and friendly waiters, but the aperitif was tasteless, the chairs and table were ruined and wobbly, and above all, there were a lot of annoying flies. I wouldn't go back; I'm sorry about the potential.

21/11/2025: I was there last Sunday and the place is really nice. There are tons of books, comics, and visual novels to browse, the staff is super friendly, and the beer is amazing! I'll definitely be back!

17/11/2025: It's one of my favorite places! When I lived in Piazza Bologna, I used to go there much more often, now a little less. But it's still a very pleasant and welcoming place to have a coffee or tea while sitting among the books.

28/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante durante una visita a Roma e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. La carbonara era eccellente, cremosa e saporita. Il personale è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, sempre attento alle nostre esigenze e, cosa rara, molto premuroso anche con i bambini, facendoli sentire i benvenuti. Un'esperienza davvero piacevole, in un'atmosfera accogliente. Torneremo sicuramente!

30/03/2025: Il locale ha cambiato gestione per fortuna un grande cambio di rotta , locale rinnovato e pulito , personale cordiale e simpatico , un ottima gestione , passiamo alla cucina Pizza romana fantastica sia seduti al tavolo che take away servizio ottimo con Possibilità di prenotazione ordini su Wa fantastico e veloce e affidabile , Carne alla griglia che dire abbiamo preso una bistecca da 1.5 kg consigliata dal proprietario a dir poco divina ... Sapore cottura tutto perfetto , resto della cucina tutto veramente buono buono complimenti
