14/02/2026: I don't think I've ever seen such poor customer service. I went with a friend for a drink, to relax, and the experience was terrible. The person at the door didn't smile; in fact, he had a surly face, and it felt like they were doing you a favor by bringing you your order. The pizza was extremely disappointing. A very thin Roman pizza, worse than a frozen one. The worst happened around 10:30. We ordered a second drink, they brought it to us, and after ten or fifteen minutes, they started cleaning the place and lowering the shutters, clearly signaling to us that we had to leave, even though it was almost an hour and a half before closing. When I pointed out that it felt like we were being kicked out even though we'd just ordered, the waitresses called the manager to the door. This person arrived without apology, without explanation, and with a surly attitude. He showed no sign of understanding toward customers who were still drinking. He even tried to overcharge us. A rude and incompetent person, and the food quality is very poor. Want to grab a quick coffee and stay for five minutes? Maybe that's fine. Want to enjoy a pleasant moment with friends, without the hassle? Go somewhere else.

06/01/2026: A great restaurant and pizzeria offering traditional Roman dishes like Gricia and Carbonara, lamb, Jewish-style artichokes, thin-crust pizzas, delicious appetizers, and exquisite desserts. We loved the fried zucchini flowers, cacio e pepe supplì, fried pizzetta, Margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella, crema catalana, and tiramisu. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is casual.

28/12/2025: At "Er Gallo Nero" we enjoyed dishes that embody the heart of Roman dining: authenticity, family warmth, and recipes executed to perfection.

16/01/2026: Typical family atmosphere, a Roman eatery. Good, home-style cooking. I had fettuccine with black truffle (Tartufo nero). For dessert, apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. Everything was delicious.

21/12/2025: Four days trying different restaurants, this was undoubtedly the best. Run by the owner himself, the food is fresh and truly authentic (not a tourist trap). The service, the ingredients, the preparation, the prices—everything was perfect. I can't wait to go back!

01/02/2026: Non-existent table service, a half-hour wait in a half-empty restaurant just to clear the table occupied by previous customers, an hour-long wait to place the order. The fruit juice arrived in a supermarket cardboard box and without a cup. The staff was slow and unresponsive, completely disorganized. Takeout only is recommended. It's a shame because it would be a really nice place if the service was good.

15/01/2026: A beautiful area, part of an attractive park that is a major attraction in Rome, the capital of Italy, and one of the city's landmarks. A wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant has a convenient location. The restaurant offers: excellent and affordable food, as well as refreshing and inexpensive drinks. The staff is friendly, especially to tourists, and quick. I think that when visiting the park, it's worth stopping here to take a break from exploring the grounds, and also enjoy a delicious meal and a good drink. ;) I recommend it!

28/11/2025: I'd like to sincerely thank pastry chef Carmine for the wonderful experience he made for my partner's birthday. I asked for a dark chocolate brownie cake because my partner doesn't like overly sweet cakes, and it was a hit. Everyone loved it and asked me where I got it. I highly recommend this pastry shop.

08/03/2026: This restaurant is very centrally located, yet still quite quiet, almost hidden in a small square behind Via Po. It has numerous spacious and well-spaced outdoor tables, and the atmosphere is cheerful and relaxing. The menu offers everything from meat to pizza, including all sorts of delicacies. We ordered the crispy fries, which were well worth it! The fried artichoke, not my favorite since the outer leaves were too thick for my taste, and two truly delicious pizzas! Expertly cooked and with top-quality ingredients. For dessert, we chose the Nutella "zoccolette" (small pastries), which were delicious! And a meringue with strawberries and cream, which wasn't particularly impressive in presentation but was good. The service is efficient and courteous, and the numerous waiters are quick and friendly. I'd definitely say come and try it (make a reservation!); I'll be back.

20/02/2026: Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The food was quite authentic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The seafood noodles and fried seafood were particularly well-prepared. I originally came specifically for the roasted veal knuckle, which was recommended on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform), but unfortunately it was sold out that day, which was a bit of a disappointment. I ended up ordering a steak instead. The steak itself was quite good, but I have a small suggestion: because the restaurant has outdoor seating, it gets cold quickly in the wind, and the steak on the ceramic plate cooled down after only a few bites. I personally prefer the warmth of a hot plate; the steak definitely loses its appeal when it cools down. I hope the restaurant can consider keeping the tableware warm in the future, or perhaps increase the quantity of dishes available. Although I didn't get to eat what I really wanted this time, the service and taste were so good that I'd definitely come back next time to try the veal knuckle!

08/02/2026: Nice restaurant in the center of Scauri, a hamlet in the municipality of Minturno (LT). The service could be improved, but the food was excellent. The owner is a fantastic person.

20/02/2026: I've rarely been treated so poorly in a restaurant. The food wasn't bad. The service was. Plates were slammed, comments (!) were made about uneaten appetizers, and one plate was left standing while clearing dishes. Main courses for different diners were served more than fifteen minutes apart.

03/01/2026: Be careful, the real Lemongrass has moved to Via Ottaviano; this ice cream shop is now called Giulietta. The ice cream is full of coloring, too sweet, and "bloated" with air. I don't know why they haven't updated the name; they probably benefit from the good reputation.

03/01/2026: We dined there three nights, including New Year's Eve. I'd give it more stars, but the maximum is 5. The food and pizzas were all exquisite. The New Year's Eve seafood dinner was refined and delicious. Impeccable service. The owners are excellent and attentive to their customers. Highly recommended for both service and food.
