27/05/2025: We walked for 20 minutes to reach the Pizzeria. Google mentioned that they open @ 6:00 PM. We arrived @ 7:10 PM and they were still closed and mentioned that they open @ 7:30-7:45 PM. We waited and ordered 2 pizzas. They delayed our pizzas, as they were busy preparing 3 pizzas for a take-out order, and finally our pizzas were served @ 8:15 PM. The dough used in preparing the pizzas was not fresh, as it was extremely difficult to cut any piece of the pizza, and very hard to eat. Worst pizzas we ever had in Italy!

10/05/2025: Friendly, kind, they let us eat outside the deadline, open kitchen with essentials and small room. Absolutely worth it, good fish and tasty fried food

18/05/2025: Terrible experience....50 minutes of waiting for a plate of pasta (6-8 rigatoni per person) completely raw, and then the fettuccine (3 forkfuls per person) equally raw.

10/02/2025: bel ristorante ( in estate anche all'aperto) frontelago a due km dal paesino di Bolsena. Menu' di carne e pesce locale di ottima qualita'. Servizio veloce e gentile e costi contenuti.

11/04/2025: I had an amazing meal here. Interesting “Finocchetti” pasta - very flavorful - and a great cake. Good looking interior too! For the price of a pizza you can have something amazing.

27/04/2025: The sailing ship takes you to a 70s beach environment, the guy is very kind, the fried fish is delicious but they brought the appetizer together with the fried fish.... The anchovies with aubergines were very good....but the spaghetti with clams were definitely undercooked and then we waited a long time for this last dish...Maybe a little more organization wouldn't hurt

24/04/2025: Abbiamo già pranzato qui 2 volte ed è stata una conferma! Ottima qualità e piatti buonissimi poi abbiamo potuto mangiare un buon dentice che non è facile da trovare ai ristoranti. Ambiente molto curato e ben arredato

18/04/2025: Capitato per caso, gli altri ristoranti testaccini erano tutti al completo e non avevo prenotato... Però il Mattarello è una garanzia, io conoscevo quello di Valle Aurelia e di Mattia Battistini, questo forse è anche meglio. Servizio buono, cibo ok. Anche birra alla spina rossa Leffe!!! Insomma è andata bene! Non ti puoi sbagliare se dar Mattarello vuoi mangiare!

07/05/2025: Ristorante suggestivo nella faggeta. Ottimo cibo e servizio, personale gentile. Non avevano seggioloni a sufficienza per i bimbi e ci hanno offerto la loro pasta per compensare il disagio. Prezzi un po' sopra la media ma porzioni davvero abbondanti. Torneremo!
