03/12/2025: Recommended by a dear friend, it exceeded expectations. Giuseppe, the manager, was able to recommend the best of the day and made the dinner a delight. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back!!!

08/12/2025: Sunday, December 8, 2025. 6 people. Price: €45 per person. First courses: lukewarm strozzapreti and bland sauce...the ragù is nonexistent. Wild boar fettuccine, unfortunately, tasteless, as are tagliolini with truffles...the castle appetizer €15 for two pieces of polenta omelette and nothing else doesn't justify the price. Sautéed broccoli was good, but not spicy...not everyone ordered a first course, 3 appetizers, 3 second courses...the price was decidedly high. Service, very nice and kind people.

25/09/2025: They demanded we eat rotting truffles. It was my wife's birthday, and I had a really hard time not making a scene; I didn't want to ruin their day.

21/03/2025: Gutes Fischrestaurant in Nettuno. Fisch war frisch und auf den Punkt gegart. Aufmerksamer Service. Gute Hausweine. Lebendige Atmosphäre. Reservierung zu empfehlen, da auch wochentags ab ca. 20 Uhr voll.

17/12/2025: To call it a steal would be a compliment! As you can see from the bill, avoid it at all costs. The prices are out of control (not listed on the menu) for food worthy of a low-end trattoria. One of the guests asked for gluten-free food; the owner assured her it would be gluten-free, but instead she almost ended up in the emergency room. The food is terrible, and the price is exorbitant; avoid it!

24/10/2025: Wander through Etruscan villages and discover rustic and authentic fraschette. This is the case of Polly, a fraschetta from Cerveteri that has nothing to envy of Michelin-starred restaurants, offering healthy, authentic, and delicious cuisine, made up of dishes that go down without any interference. Saluni, fried dishes, ricotta, pasta with garlic, oil, and chili pepper, and white polenta with chicory and sausage opened the meal. Tripe, frittata, and cod continued with waltzes and polkas without any slowdown or hesitation. A thoughtful and friendly white wine gently helped the diners assimilate the dishes, while a nightcap brightened up the tuff-stoned atmosphere, instilling joy and happiness in the diners. Affordable and popular fare, a friendly atmosphere. Well done, we'll be back.

28/07/2025: The place is impossible to reach by car, and even the directions weren't clear at all. There's only a pedestrian crossing. The place has a good view of the sea, and on Saturday there was even live music. The appetizers were very good, and the first courses were also good, but be careful with the tonnarello with clams; it was full of sand, and I almost hurt my teeth several times. The pasta was edible, but a little overcooked.

04/11/2025: Il Picchio Allegro is much more than a pizzeria: it's a gourmet restaurant and pizzeria that combines the lightness and fun of pizza with the elegance of meticulously prepared cuisine, select ingredients, and a pleasant atmosphere. If you're in Rieti and want a memorable evening, you can't go wrong here.

12/10/2025: One of the best pizzas in Rieti: light dough, top-quality ingredients, and truly excellent flavors. The only flaw was the service; we felt a bit neglected by the staff. After the first few drinks, reordering the next ones was a real struggle, and we had to wait a long time. The same thing happened with the desserts: despite receiving the menus and signaling to the waiter, no one came to take our orders, and, much to our disappointment, we left. I understand why the place was packed, however, a sign of its well-deserved success. Despite this small inconvenience, the quality of the pizza is truly worth it, and I will definitely return on weekdays to enjoy the experience at a more leisurely pace.

10/03/2025: we came yesterday for the first time to dance tango, welcomed by the kindness and courtesy of the teacher Giulia Varone, we were pleasantly surprised both by the venue which is in a magnificent position, with the lookout over the temple of the Sibyl and by the organization of the milonga. Excellent parquet flooring, small but enveloping room, excellent aperitif formula and, even writing it goes without saying, excellent music by the musician Armando Tatafiore. We hope you organize another one soon!

11/11/2025: Rarely has a restaurant managed to be so welcoming and professional at the same time. I felt at home, in China, and at a formal dinner all at the same time. Friendliness, professionalism, and kindness in a traditional yet strangely familiar setting. Highly recommended.

09/12/2025: Average pizzeria, the raw pizza is lightly topped, the griffin pizza is good—nothing to write home about, but nothing to dislike either. Low prices.

12/07/2025: We stopped here to grab a bite to eat on the way home. It was a truly unique experience! The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Vito (a true gem) made us some delicious panzerotti that made us want to stay in Puglia. Plus, the owner offered us other delicacies to try. I recommend this place not only for the food but also for the kindness of the entire staff. The horse meat panzerotto was truly something special. If there were 10 stars, I'd give it all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

21/05/2025: Después de visitar San Pedro, estábamos buscando un restaurante en la zona del Vaticano. Encontramos este restaurante basado en comentarios de TA y no nos decepcionó. El restaurante tiene un menú muy bueno con un montón de platos de pasta y pizza. Decidimos probar la pizza para variar y estábamos encantados de lo deliciosa que estaba. Si buscas un restaurante en la zona vaticana, te lo recomendamos fácilmente.

05/11/2025: Finally, a place that offers a unique alternative to the usual flavors! Here you can taste excellent cocktails and other top-quality products, prepared with care and attention to detail. The young man who served me was very kind and, what's more, a native American speaker, an added bonus for those who want to chat in English. Highly recommended, even for tourists!
