Thanks to a friend of mine who has been their customer for years, today I had lunch with this wonderful family for the first time. The ingredients, practically zero kilometers, are truly excellent. The artichokes grown by my grandfather, who was proud to share his method with us, served in all variations—Jewish-style, Roman-style, battered—are truly exquisite. The appetizers were generous, with true home-made flavors. The first courses were spectacular, and what can I say about the lamb chops, wonderful, supplied by a shepherd 50 meters from the restaurant. To conclude, the desserts were sublime: tiramisu, chocolate crumble with pistachio cream and berries, and trifle made by my grandmother. Irene and Alessandra, the daughters, are two young women who take pride in their work, which they carry out with dedication, politeness, and kindness. Truly a great place.
