30/06/2026: A cornerstone of the restaurant and bar scene, it's much more beautiful today, the bar is excellent, the restaurant is excellent, we return often... well done.

29/06/2026: Excellent quality of products and wide choice, the service is not always impeccable, today at the table we were served by a very kind and fast lady, but sometimes the wait is quite long regardless of the number of customers present

26/06/2026: Passing by with friends, first time pizza served on two plates, excellent value for money, good value for money, I recommend it to everyone.

06/06/2026: The place was nice, but the wait was unnerving. Some of the pizzas were well-topped, but mine was much less so, with flaky dough and, frankly, needed more cooking. We arrived at 9:00 PM and ate the first course at 10:15 PM. Fried flowers, which I thought were just dough with a few zucchini flowers, were nothing special. Overall, an average place.

19/05/2026: I've been avoiding lunch and dinner for a while now, both because of the sky-high prices and the awkward service, with confused and disoriented waiters and endless waits. Unfortunately, the situation doesn't improve with takeout: one or two people at the register and counter at lunchtime, with the POS terminal not working and biblical waiting times for everything. In all this, the prices are also rising: a salmon bagel was €6 yesterday, €8 today. We're talking about a 10cm-diameter sandwich, filled with arugula and cream cheese with a slice of smoked salmon. The prices of the desserts are also beyond comment. It's a short step from organic to stealing! Raise the level of service instead of prices!

02/06/2026: Highly recommended! The food is good, but the real difference is made by the hosts: friendly, helpful, and always attentive to their customers. You can tell they're passionate about what they do and manage to create a truly pleasant atmosphere. I'll gladly return.

20/05/2026: I had a wonderful time at a birthday party last Sunday...everything was amazing! Everything was taken care of down to the last detail.

15/04/2026: Aside from the small portions, the food was good... Then this happened: while paying (there were four of us), we were waiting for change (plus €10), and a waitress told us they couldn't give us change because they didn't have change... and if we wanted to pay by card... We left everything as a tip, but I would have expected the kitchen to offer something.

07/08/2026: Good Service, the prices were okay. Unfortunately the semolina gnocchi with Gorgonzola fondue were trapped in grease and the taste of the small amount of cheese was overpowered by the taste of oil. Overall I would not recommend this place, but to be fair the other dishes ordered by my group were not as bad.

02/08/2026: We had an absolutely fantastic meal at Ristorante Pizzeria Al Picchio! The food was excellent across the board, every single dish was packed with incredible, authentic flavors. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. ​Beyond the meal itself, the service was top-notch: friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. To top it all off, the prices were exceptionally fair for the quality of food and service you get. ​Special shoutout to their air conditioning! Visiting during a blistering 36°C (97°F) heatwave, stepping into a cool, comfortable dining room made the entire experience pure bliss. ​If you’re looking for amazing food, great value, and fantastic hospitality, do not miss this spot. We will definitely be back!

19/07/2026: Excellent, I was probably unlucky; the service went haywire. The wait was biblical, we couldn't understand anything. The reason, I think, was unprofessional and the pizza chef was good but alone. Could this happen? I don't know the price; I was invited.

16/07/2026: Excellent experience, except, alas, for a couple of grossly ignorant people sitting next to us. They made scathing comments about everything during the meal, wanted to pay for the dishes as much as they thought was fair, had never seen a dish priced by the pound of fish or meat used in its preparation, and referred to the staff as "southerners." They even left a negative comment, which you can read below. I should have had the forethought to ask to move; it's never pleasant to dine next to two poisoned snakes. The dishes were all prepared with great care, and the lemon sorbet was the best I've ever had—and I know about ice cream, making a lemon sorbet like this is no easy feat. My only criticism was the nervousness of some of the wait staff, especially the managers (certainly challenged by the demands of lowlifes like our neighbors). The waiters, however, were cheerful and helpful. A highlight: breakfast in the morning, from 8:00 to 12:00. The best croissants I've ever eaten – and truly special cakes, made in-house! Overall, the value for money is astonishing for those of us who live in Switzerland, but still very reasonable for Italy! Highly recommended!!

02/05/2026: Lunch with friends on May 1st. The appetizers were plentiful and delicious (we took several items home in containers), the first and second courses were excellent, and the tarts at the end of the meal were delicious. The place is really lovely; in my opinion, the outside could use a little more attention, and with a few more animals, it would be nice for children, but I have to say, it was a truly wonderful discovery. The staff were very kind and helpful.

24/05/2026: Everything was excellent... except for the fact that during the cave tours... they offer false advertising! We read that lunch starts at 8 euros... you go there and they tell you... here we only do a 25-euro set menu... As for the atmosphere... it's a very quiet place... the location is also beautiful! Not very big but comfortable... the food was excellent. As for the service! Fast... friendly... but the fact that they check your mouth as if to see if you're eating or not... I didn't really like it.
