15/04/2026: Chosen based on the reviews, but like others, I was very disappointed.
A typical family-run trattoria, with plenty of staff... but disorganized.
Menu... by word of mouth... with limited choice (during lunch, we saw so many other dishes pass by???). On the lady's advice, we chose two first courses, fettuccine and ravioli (only ricotta???) with a raw, slow-cooked sauce.
For the second course, rabbit cacciatore, also with a very watery sauce.
The house red wine was good.
The only positive note was the price, but it was excessive, considering the quality!!!
07/04/2026: Easter lunch, set menu, for the second course lamb cacciatore style, on the plate 3 small pieces all bones and fat.

28/04/2026: As a tourist in April, you're treated like a second-class citizen. We sat for almost 20 minutes before anyone even asked us what we wanted. The appetizer arrived with Aperol, and the second course came while we were still eating the appetizer. 🙈 It was all show and no substance. The waiters were busy making a fuss, but some were dressed like they were going shopping. Thank goodness I don't have to go back.

05/11/2025: A wonderful revelation, excellent quality food, well-cooked, friendly, courteous, and professional staff, and reasonable prices.
Few tables inside.
Ideal for takeout.
Highly recommended.

I won't go back with the comment or I'll be in trouble.
05/04/2026: We went for an aperitif at this lovely place, but the waitresses were rude and the food was terrible. We asked if there were any options for someone who was lactose intolerant, and she told us there was absolutely no cheese... and instead it was all mozzarella and stracciatella (perfect, no, never mind). The only thing she was allowed to eat was the white focaccia... those two fried foods that were dark and full of oil... not to mention the bill for four aperitifs was €92, and I've never had a bar charge a €14 cover charge for seven people, three of whom were children (at the bar).
Guys, I don't recommend it; there are much, much better options out there.

They bring you water in jugs, which I don't like at all; I prefer bottled water. €23, a price now in line with the market. I sat outside in the garden and it was nice.

05/05/2026: Unfortunately, we arrived on a day when a waiters was in his first day. Even though his mentor was good, I feel the service didn't match the atmosphere of the cafe. They could do so much more here, a lovely centre piece on the table with flowers, napkins etc.
Our order came out incorrectly, then we were overcharged.
The views are amazing, that all it has going for it really ☹️
I hope they get a manager in that has a lot of hospitality background that has great attention to detail.

We had breakfast here during our vacation in Rome and had a wonderful time.
The view of Rome's historic buildings was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious! The tiramisu was highly recommended.

11/04/2026: The risotto dish tasted like canned fried tomato sauce, the Caesar salad had no dressing flavor, and the pistachio and mortadella pizza only had those two ingredients and the pizza dough; the price was quite high for the quality.

19/08/2025: We went for dinner one evening on the recommendation of our friend Moira. We had a wonderful time, dining al fresco on a large veranda. The fish was incredibly fresh and the portions generous. The fried food was spectacular, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
We'll be back.
