Excellent food but overpriced, only natural wines available. The staff isn't particularly friendly... quite the opposite. The place is in a great location, very nice.

We ate and drank well. The wines were unique and very good. The food was good, but not unforgettable. Prices were reasonable. The service was super friendly. They seated us in a perfect spot, making it more comfortable for our dog. The atmosphere? The usual top-notch Garbatella setting.

La Mescita is vibey, friendly and delicious. We had one of the best wines I’ve ever had in my life and the service matched the wine. So good we came back twice on our weekend trip and if ever back in Rome will return! Love it here 😍

A beautiful, contemporary wine bar, meticulously curated without being overbearing. Excellent wine selection, clearly showcasing the attention to detail and research. We ordered toasted sandwiches (the pastrami was excellent) and a platter, all well-made and with quality ingredients. Perfect for a quiet evening with a glass of wine and something light to eat. Friendly and helpful staff, simple yet precise service. A successful place, perfect if you want to enjoy a good drink and a tasty meal in the Garbatella area.

A nice, well-kept place. We went for an aperitif featuring natural wines, a platter of meats, and some hummus. A bit chaotic on the weekend.

I can recommend it to everyone who is visiting Rome, a wine bar with light local pastrami, incredibly delicious Panna cotta with homemade cherry jam, cheeses, and delicious wines.
