25/08/2025: Last night we ordered takeout from La Scogliera restaurant in Ponza, and unfortunately, the experience was very bad. After eating spaghetti with clams and fried fish, nine out of twelve people in our group began to feel ill. These symptoms ruined our last day of vacation, making the experience even more unpleasant. I cannot recommend La Scogliera for takeout. The quality of the food and the health issues we encountered made this a truly disappointing experience. I hope the restaurant can improve in the future, but for now, I recommend looking for better alternatives on the island.

16/06/2025: Great Dinner with Room for Improvement We dined in the beautiful outdoor garden, a truly pleasant experience. The food was good overall. However, there were a few small mix-ups. When the menu indicated "mussels and clams", I expected that specific dish, but instead mussels and lupins arrived. Although they were very good, they were not what was ordered. I believe it is essential to immediately inform the customer if an ingredient is not available, as also happened with the marinated anchovies and chicory (the latter was replaced by a mix of cooked and sautéed vegetables that was truly excellent, which eliminated the problem). Another small point concerns the two appetizers, which arrived ten minutes apart. Luckily, it was a cold dish, which allowed the diner to wait without problems. The bill was normal and we were offered amaro, gestures that are always appreciated. Despite these small inconveniences, the dinner was still very good.

11/05/2025: I gave one star because you can't give less, the prices may be low, but the quality is terrible, I would have preferred to spend more but eat well, an insult to the carbonara with anonymous tasteless cheese that was absolutely not pecorino...gnocchi that the polystyrene has more flavor of very low quality with ragù without ground meat and the usual tasteless grated cheese...never again!

24/04/2025: Very kind host and very good chef. There were 6 of us at dinner and we had 5 first courses, 1 second course and 3 side dishes: carbonara, matriciana, stew with potatoes, artichokes, chicory and chips, all very good, exceptional carbonara. All less than 10 euros per person. Well done, keep it up

01/08/2025: Locale molto carino con bei tavoli all'aperto, personale gentile e disponibilissimo, servizio veloce, abbiamo consumato deliziose bruschette di vari gusti, pizze di tutti i tipi, tagliate di carne enormi tenere squisite (detto dai miei figli carnivori), tantissima scelta di dolci e anche tanti sorrisi con prezzi veramente modici! È la seconda volta che ci vado ma sicuramente ci torneremo! Grazie!!!!

05/07/2025: A place that hosts evenings. They offer a fixed menu, which is more expensive than ordering the same things à la carte. Rubbery pizza and fried food soaked in oil. I definitely won't be back.

Fabrizio sells very particular wines and fine spirits, giving detailed information, a sign of passion in his work. Together with Michela they take care of the bar and a few tables where for lunch you can delight in tasty first and second courses😋 🔝 You are special.

22/02/2025: I've been in Lavinio for a short while, the bar is excellent, the croissants are delicious and the pastries are excellent, but the lunch is also top-notch, the owners are friendly and kind, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, especially the barista Melissa, a beautiful girl, friendly and professional.

05/07/2025: English: I describe the terrible experience only with the pool, the hotel is outside, but opening the structure to the general public unfortunately I find myself having to give a star if I could even less, I do not recommend the pool even to the worst enemy, before charging the entrance they should warn that they are full and not let us in, they let us in, the lifeguard advised us to leave things on a triangle of grass between the entrance of a gate and the pool for children at the end of the structure. Because Not even places on the ground on the lawn or available because booked, if they had said so before they would certainly have made a better impression. Luckily we did not leave things there, but we placed them on a chair between the bar and the large pool, at least they were in sight while we were swimming, and thank goodness I would say, because as chance would have it, while we were swimming, taking a look at things I noticed 3 children left in the wild by their parents who were about to open the backpack and also take my nephew's towel and t-shirt. With a scream and running out of the water they ran away, I warned the lifeguard who also told us that he had understood who the subjects in question were. Terrible experience not to be repeated at all, in the area there are much better places.
