Ristorante La Veranda In Guidonia montecelio

09/04/2026: A historic Roman restaurant. I gave it three stars only because I think the quality/price ratio is excessive. The five stars for both service and ambiance are deserved: the staff is extremely friendly, and the place is meticulously maintained. It's certainly a place that's part of Rome's history, but perhaps I wouldn't recommend it as a must-eat if you're only in the city for a few days.

06/04/2026: The food here is good - nothing special and certainly not worth the high prices. Polpette, amacitriciana and chicken were all fine, salad, verdure and potatoes were just fine. You can absolutely find the same dishes half the price elsewhere in Rome, including the nearby market. I was shocked that our bill came to 80 euros. Service was curt, disinterested and generally seemed resentful of customers, in fact they brought us the wrong chicken dish but we didn’t think it was worth it to catch their attention and change it. They seem to be relying on their historical reputation in the rione but there are much better choices nearby.
