22/07/2026: The girl serving the tables was really kind and helpful. The pizza tasted good, but unfortunately it was undercooked in some places. The rice suppli were overcooked. For dessert, we were told there was only one lemon dessert available, which unfortunately wasn't to our liking.

22/07/2026: The service was terrible, despite there being only a few people to serve we had to wait for over an hour, nothing compared to the previous management.

28/07/2026: For years, every summer we've vacationed in Sperlonga, we've come to La Pergola at least a couple of times. This year, we've found a new manager, Antonio, who is professional and friendly, along with Ludovica, who is equally welcoming and courteous. They've made a few changes to the traditional menu, but have kept the quality and ingredients unchanged. We'll definitely be back.

12/06/2026: I already knew about the place; I've been there a while ago, but it wasn't anything special. I went back a few days ago and was immediately informed that it's under new management, and I must say I was truly surprised. Starting with the quality of the products, the service, and the truly youthful and lively atmosphere in a stunning setting. The owner is also young, friendly, and professionally trained. From the appetizers to the grilled meats to the dessert (ricotta and pear tart with exceptional white chocolate shavings 😋), it was a treat for the palate. Excellent value too! Highly recommend.

15/03/2026: Last night I was in Genzano with 10 other friends for a training course, and we made a last-minute reservation at this restaurant: we ate divinely! As a vegan, I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of their efforts to prepare something original and delicious for me...which is definitely not a given. The location is truly unique, and the staff is friendly and welcoming! A truly wonderful discovery!

22/02/2026: My partner, my son, and I had lunch today. The welcome was very friendly, but the food was mind-blowingly good value. An appetizer on a board with a couple of slices of cold cuts each (ham, mortadella, loin, salami), a bowl of ricotta, and a slice of mortadella each, cooked on the grill, cost €45. Then the first courses arrived, no comment... the ingredients were low-quality... we basically got up, paid the €95 bill, and ran away. There was just something to discuss, but given the small place and the people who were eating, I preferred to leave. I won't add anything else, even if there is something to say...

01/06/2026: Pretty awful, leaving aside the rude waitress who snaps at me as if it were my fault that she's working, the food is all defrosted, nothing is fresh, the prices are EXORBITANT for the quality, we had fried food soaked in terrible undrained oil, spaghetti that tasted like pizza, it looked like raw tomato sauce was put there, it absolutely didn't taste like fish, not even by mistake, a swordfish that was perhaps the only edible thing, but simply because it was flavored with garlic. All for the modest sum of €70 for disgusting food.

02/05/2026: An hour and 10 minutes of waiting for a little girl's pasta dish, only two waiters (very kind) to serve over 15 tables. Unprepared and superficial, this restaurant is definitely a different story. Avoid.

15/06/2026: Booked online. Nice building in front of the hotel where you can have breakfast. Clean beach with cleaning staff. Small children's area, bar outside the building where you can eat under furnished gazebos. Parking available for an additional €5. I'll definitely be back.

22/06/2026: Guys, this is embarrassing. I'm Roman and I've been to a lot of restaurants, but I've never seen anything like this. Terrible food, poorly prepared, and even worse served. But the real scandal was seeing our plates being returned and then put back around. And even worse, wine poured from already-used glasses. It's something out of a nightmare. At the end of the evening, we all felt bad. All of us. Do the math. The manager, instead of apologizing, tried to pretend nothing had happened. Zero professionalism, zero respect for the customers. If you want to eat well in Rome, you're spoiled for choice. This place, however, is to be avoided like the plague. Never again. —— What an absolute joke of a restaurant. They brought a seafood pasta with cheese on top!!!! A joke!! We're locals, and in all our years eating around Rome, we've never seen anything this bad. The food was terrible, but the real shock came when we watched staff take dishes back and then attempt to serve them again. We also saw wine being poured from previously used glasses instead of a fresh bottle. Completely disgusting. To top it all off, every single person at our table got sick afterwards. When we raised our concerns, the manager tried to brush everything off instead of taking responsibility. No apology, no professionalism, just excuses. This place feels like a scam designed to take advantage of tourists who don't know any better. Rome is full of incredible restaurants run by honest people—don't waste your time or money here. Avoid at all costs.

07/05/2026: The food was undercooked and unseasoned, the sea bass carpaccio appetizer was unseasoned and tasteless🤢, the fried zucchini flower 🤮 we didn't even finish it and the main courses 🤮🤮🤢 expensive and 👎 I don't recommend it!

08/05/2026: Excellent typical and traditional cuisine, we use it for lunches with colleagues, the only flaw is the lack of windows, if you want to eat something home-made you can't miss it, better local red wine.
