15/12/2024: We had a great time! Genuine dishes of excellent quality and wonderful service. We felt at home!

01/11/2024: We stayed at this location today Saturday 22nd October 22nd. Place already known. We took 5 menus with; Very rich and tasty appetizer with special dishes including a very particular and delicious ovoli salad. Also included in the starter, among the many dishes, is a pizza with two good white Margherita and mushroom flavours. As a first course, fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, good. Second course escalope with porcini mushrooms, very tender and delicious. A very good grilled meat. Side dish of broccoli and baked potatoes, good. For dessert, a homemade tiramisu, from them, average. As for liqueurs, ratafia, produced by them, is very good. Price more than fair. Spartan but welcoming location both in summer and winter. Advised. ------------------------- Returned for the fourth time to this farmhouse today 1 November 2024 Even today a fixed menu (mixed starter, two first courses, mixed grill, vegetables, dessert and coffee) for €25 or à la carte menu. The 4 of us opted for the fixed menu. Very good starter as usual, never predictable, varied according to the seasons and of excellent quality. The gem of the day is the home-produced ham cut by hand by the owner himself 🔝 The two first courses, fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and tagliolini with ragu, were very good. The barbecue with good side dishes. The dry sweets are also good. In conclusion it is confirmed as a good choice.....see you again soon.

17/02/2025: The location deserves 5 stars, the decor is very nice, unfortunately the pizza dough is not the best; Personally it was very difficult for me. The ingredients are normal, I advise you to take normal flavors as the special ones like with onion are cloying in the long run. The 20 euro formula with starter is good.

24/01/2025: Excellent quality of food and maximum attention to gluten-free... as a celiac I was lucky enough to taste various dishes in this tavern and it was all delicious 😋...... 24/01/2025: Sono stata con la mia famiglia a pranzo,che dire ottimo cibo pesce fresco, e piatti ben curati,possibilità di assaporare specialità senza glutine. I propetari due persone deliziose,gentili,ti fanno sentire come a casa... Lo consiglio non una ma 1000 volte...

17/11/2024: One of the few places I know where the pizza chef has been the same for years and where you know what type of pizza you will find, the best in my opinion in the area, with no surprises in the toppings, quality or size. Even dated staff is a guarantee!

29/12/2024: We went to this place on a Saturday evening, the staff were truly welcoming and knowledgeable, the location was spectacular and attention was paid to every detail, obviously without neglecting the most important thing, the food, which was excellent in every way and remained at a truly fair quality-price ratio. Highly recommended!

04/09/2024: DIVINE WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE - 06 April 2023 - DINNER. I don't think there is any need to add other comments... Mr. Remo, assisted by Giorgio, has been giving this dream away for decades. At 81 years old he manages to be an excellent host where he combines class, privacy and excellent cuisine. The "only for 2" is a location where eating takes second place compared to the magnificence of the structure. I owed so much and so much tribute. Thank you Mr. Remo. From the heart...

06/07/2024: Proposta di matrimonio fantastica, location perfetta servizio sublime, cibo così e così ma non vai in questo luogo stupendo per il cibo. Se cercate la perfezione e non amate stare in mezzo alla gente è il posto giusto.

10/11/2024: We came here spontaneously on our way to the airport and were pleasantly surprised. So much so that we would now even say that we had the best meal here of our entire vacation in Italy. There was an exceptional starter composition, delicious pasta and salad. The dessert was also fantastic. The service was super friendly and was always able to offer us a vegetarian alternative. We would go here again if we hadn't left.

12/10/2024: We went to this tavern after returning from Spain. New or recently renovated venue, well-kept and spacious environment. To drink we ordered water and a bottle of Barbera d'Alba, I must say really good. They offered us a multi-course starter to split between two with all very tasty and delicious dishes, the meatballs in red wine were exceptional. As a second course, a carbonara and a cacio e pepe could not be missing, very classic dishes done well, the carbonara was slightly under salted but very good. To conclude we had the house tiramisu which was made with deca for the children, excellent! The owner was very kind and the girl in the room very knowledgeable. Bring Autan as there are a lot of mosquitoes being in the countryside, fortunately the management provided it for us. More than positive experience, highly recommended!

Daniele titolare e chef numero 1 complimenti, continuate così se questa è la strada della rinascita siete a buon punto. Torneremo sicuramente ma soggiorneremo nei dintorni per poter gustare tutte le prelibatezze in più volte.. ah dimenticavo le porzioni sono abbondanti. A presto

14/12/2024: Un grazie particolare a Daniele Bonanni titolare del ristorante Ma-tru’ per la sua disponibile ad accoglierci in 8 persone, nel suo giorno di riposo, pur avendo ricevuto la richiesta poco prima dell’ora di pranzo. In tale occasione ha cucinato e servito a tavola antipasto e abbondanti ed eccellenti porzioni di Amatriciana e Gricia. Al termine del pasto ha offerto dolci locali e genziana quest’ultima servendoci da soli da un recipiente munito di piccolo rubinetto, purtroppo dopo essermi servito non ho chiuso correttamente tale rubinetto consentendo la fuoriuscita di una grande quantità di liquore, mortificato ho dato la disponibilità a risarcire il danno ma Daniele mi ha rassicurato e non ha voluto rimborsi. Grazie torneremo presto attenti a non procurare danni.

17/10/2024: It was the first time for me and I had a good intuition because the three pizzas we ordered: margherita, buffalo and courgette flowers/anchovies were delicious! Tasty and balanced, excellent quality of ingredients and good digestibility. Neapolitan pizzeria 10 and praise!! Highly recommended

07/01/2025: We were there just yesterday, the day of the Befana. We chose this place among those available in Trevignano as the internal environment seemed welcoming and warm. It is furnished with antique and non-antique objects but well distributed on the sides of the windows or in the upper corners. We had Fettuccine Cacio e Pepe and a Chianina Tartare... accompanied by a glass of nice fresh Bianco and a Hop House Lager Beer from Guinness... and to finish, a slice of Strudel... all very good! Then, Ferdinando's courtesy and friendliness did the rest. We will definitely be back! Thank you Tony and Edy

05/01/2025: What a wonderful place! The owner is adorable, fifteen people arrived at the beginning of the afternoon for lunch and it posed no problem. The place is superb facing the lake, and obviously we had a great time.

22/02/2025: A cod fillet that is terrible for batter and frying (dripping with terrible used oil). A tonnarello alla gricia that looked like semolina porridge. Wine by the glass not served at the table, but brought already full (and who tells me what they put in it?). Nothing was saved from this experience. Only the neighborhood in which it is located is beautiful.

14/09/2024: Very particular preparations, balanced dishes with original combinations and great taste. Tonight pork neck on chickpea mousse... amazing and octopus on a bed of pumpkin... fantastic!! impeccable service and very welcoming location.....
