04/01/2026: Dear Future Guests, You are reading all the bad reviews below and might think: “Oh, these people are all exaggerating ” or “this hotel can’t be so bad” But no. It is that bad. if you still stuck and have to stay in this hotel, please-please-please, don’t ever try to eat there! You’d rather order-in, or take a cab to anywhere, but avoid food at all expense😱 Something good: luxurious size bathtub iand a 100SQM size balcony of the junior suite… which is a good combo😎

01/01/2026: I spent New Year's Eve at the Marriott. Nothing to say about the hotel in general. Very nice. The only flaw is the waiters who served us breakfast this morning, pretending not to see us and letting people behind us go ahead when we had been in line long before them. When this was pointed out, the two bartenders, one with dark skin and one older with glasses, responded rudely instead of apologizing, making jokes like "wait for the first server before them or else all hell will break loose." Honestly, that's not how a customer should be treated, especially if you're queuing politely and if I'm standing in front of you on purpose.

13/01/2026: There's a splendid view of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of Rome's largest basilicas. The best time to go is during aperitivo, but in my opinion the price seems to be due more to the location than the food.

01/06/2025: Siamo tornati, mia moglie ed io, in questo locale dopo due o tre anni che vi mancavamo. Lo abbiamo ritrovato così come lo ricordavamo, con livelli di eccellenza sotto tutti i profili. Accoglienza, semplicità, disponibilità in un contesto ambientale particolare e piacevole: si tratta, in pratica, di un appartamento, su due piani e con terrazza (su cui noi abbiamo mangiato) avente come sfondo un bellissimo panorama, adibito a ristorante. Ottimo anche il servizio, preciso e puntuale. Elevato livello, sia come preparazione che come presentazione, delle pietanze, dagli antipasti ( di vario genere), ai primi ed ai secondi. Ottima anche lo crostata con le ciliegie. Prezzo (fisso) decisamente conveniente. Un locale decisamente da consigliare e dove tornare il prima possibile.

31/05/2025: Mentre cammini per i vicoli di Sant’Oreste, tra strettoie e ginestre fiorite, cerchi di capire dove può essere il ristorante, e poi come d’incanto ti ritrovi sotto una porta di una casa che per entrare devi citofonare. Sembra tutto abbastanza surreale, Alessandro ti attende alla fine delle scale per farti entrare dentro casa sua, un posto accogliente, dolce, curato. Ma non è finita, perché ci porta ancora per altre scale verso una terrazza da dove si vede tutta la vallata e di fianco il monte soratte. A questo punto ti aspetti una cucina classica, tradizionale… no, proprio no, invece piatto dopo piatto, scopri la sua di cucina, fatta di combinazioni insolite ma di un’armonia unica. Per non parlare del prezzo finale, lodevole! Andateci se potete, ne vale la pena. Noi di sicuro torneremo.

12/10/2025: Never again! Yesterday, a friend of mine and I ate an appetizer, two regular pizzas, a glass of wine, and a water, for a total of €51, so €25 each. I didn't want to cause a scene in front of the tables that were still in the restaurant, but I saw that the bill indicated a special pizza menu (I instead ordered a pizza that wasn't one of the special ones (called grottino; the special ones were, for example, cacio e pepe, amatriciana, etc.) and an extra appetizer. The pizza menu said the appetizer was included, but instead they charged us for it separately. Terrible treatment; that's why I gave it one star; we were very disappointed.

13/12/2025: I went to the murder mystery dinner, and sadly, I have to say I won't be back! 25 euros included an appetizer, pizza, and drinks (other than pizza, you could only order a first course, with options including fettuccine alla boscaiola or risotto alla pescatora). So, anyone who had trouble eating pizza and first courses couldn't eat anything else! I work in the same job as the older waiter, and if I were to behave like that with customers, I'd be fired right away. He was quite rude; we wanted to ask about beers, and he responded in an angry tone, "Yes, but you have to tell me you're eating." Furthermore, the pizza was burnt and dry, the appetizer had been made who knows how many hours earlier because the bruschetta was cold and dried out... and the thing that disappointed me most was that we couldn't order anything else! On a positive note, the other waiters were all kind and polite!

14/01/2026: I went to Caffè Carra today for the first time, and what can I say? Clean atmosphere, very nice decor, totally different from the hundreds of other copy-and-paste cafes. The cookies were delicious, and the girls were incredibly kind. It's nice to walk into a place where the staff smiles and is kind and polite. I'll definitely be back.

09/11/2025: A typical, rustic, and welcoming restaurant in the heart of Salisano (RI)! Authentic dishes, generous portions, and authentic traditional flavors. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the kitchen. The prices are very fair, hard to find anywhere else for this quality. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and feel at home! 👏🍷🍝

25/04/2025: If you're a tourist like me, I wouldn't recommend even going near it. The atmosphere is wonderful, but the service is absolutely nonexistent. The food is yesterday's, reheated.

21/04/2025: Drawn in by the reviews, I can only confirm. The food and quality of the ingredients are excellent, the place is welcoming, the service is attentive but not intrusive, and the value is excellent. Their homemade pasta is a must-try. We also discovered they host themed evenings, like murder mystery dinners. We'll definitely be back.

27/10/2025: Here we bought a Crostata for breakfast which was very delicious! The only thing is that the supermarket across the street has the same product for 4 times the price (2.50€) and in no way tastes worse!

24/09/2025: We arrived an hour after opening on a Saturday and had no problem getting two sun beds and an umbrella. The staff were very professional and courteous. We made reservations for lunch which served us well because it was full. The food came out hot and was very good. The prices are a little steep but I felt worth it for the location, convenience and view. Everything was very clean and well organized. We will be back! P.S. They also have fresh sea bass not pictured. It was cooked to perfection.

21/09/2025: The staff were friendly and helpful. I went in mid-September and found the umbrellas well-spaced and tidy, the beach clean, and the sun loungers and deckchairs in excellent condition. I didn't use the restaurant, but I did use the bar, which seemed quite good.

04/03/2026: Very kind staff.. the mechanic Daniele is very knowledgeable.

24/02/2026: An unusual combination of bicycles and bars. Worth a look.
