02/08/2025: From father to son, here from Florence, for over 15 years now I have always eaten EXCELLENT PIZZA!! The family-friendly atmosphere is welcoming!! The bathroom and the entire place are very clean. I highly recommend it!!

29/09/2025: Well, the ingredients for a beautiful day were there: the sea, memories of youth, a relaxing day... but: tiny portions, excruciating waits, we ate as singles, wrong bills (promptly corrected) and €69 for 1 mussel sauté for two, a risotto, 1 bucatini with clams and 1 fried fish for two frankly make me think it would have been better not to go back to those memories... if I were to return to those parts I will try something else

25/09/2025: Having left Rome for a day of sun and sea away from our usual haunts, we arrived at Corsaro, a beach resort just outside Civitavecchia, in the Sant'Agostino area, on a sparsely crowded Saturday in September, intrigued by the reviews of the excellent cuisine. In fact, at 1:00 PM sharp, we headed to the restaurant and enjoyed delicious appetizers of cuttlefish in ink and octopus Luciana-style, followed by excellent grilled prawns and a splendid tonnarello with lobster, the taste of which is still in my mouth!!! We'll be back as soon as we can!!!

29/09/2025: Nothing to say about the food, the sore point was the bill on the fixed menu pizza all you can eat, you have to add the cover charge of two euros per person, if you bring cakes from outside you pay the cake service of one euro per person, moral of the story there were 16 of us and they made us pay 48 € between cover charge and cake service (plating and table service) I find it rather disproportionate

28/09/2025: Luckily we arrived at 7:15 pm because by 8 pm it was full and very noisy. The steak was rather tough.

09/09/2025: The place is simple and very quiet. The pizza is very good for those who like it thin and crispy, and you can also order pinza. In the summer, you can eat outside with pleasant background music. There's also an outdoor area for kids.

09/07/2025: Yesterday we visited. Wonderful garden. Beautiful. Fresh. Birds are singing. An oasis in the center of Rome. Located in the hotel. The menu is small. Lamb bones are very tasty with potatoes. Ravioli with shrimp too. Small selection of wines. Very atmospheric place.

04/10/2025: Terrible experience in this place, first of all we were in the dark the lights at our side of the table were turned on after an hour (we thought they were fulminating), first we asked for a focaccia with ham on top for my daughter and when it arrived with 2 slices of ham of which one was just the fat of the ham, we asked the boy to list the dishes because he first said that the things on the written menu were not all there, after his list we ordered 1 house appetizer it was excellent, 3 mixed grills were poor and unseasoned, a grilled chicken breast without oil and not much salt arrived with a lot of oil we sent it back and it was put back on the grill and that's it therefore inedible, 1 seasoned fennel was good, 2 portions of grilled vegetables (zucchini and aubergine) only the aubergines arrived when asked: but the zucchini? The waiter goes to the kitchen comes out and says they're finished, the sparkling water It was finished, the beer the waiter had said he had was finally gone, the desserts were finished. And my question is: What did you open for dinner if you didn't have any dishes?

31/08/2025: The fixed menu for €35 was chosen by a friend who had lunch with us. The place was very nice, but I wouldn't go back for the food, nor would I recommend it.

28/09/2025: An extremely positive experience!! I've eaten at Dar Parente several times, and it's always a guarantee. Over the years, it has maintained the same quality: the food is exquisite, from appetizers to first courses, pizzas, and desserts. The service was excellent; the ladies who served us were always ready to accommodate every request and made sure the dinner went smoothly. The prices were very fair; the atmosphere was family-friendly, simple, homey, and welcoming. I would definitely go back again!!

16/09/2025: We had chosen to return a second time, bringing several friends. Because my friend and I had eaten very well (during the week...) We booked for Sunday evening (it's not always possible to go out during the week, often only during the weekend do you manage to get together various friends...)....As soon as we sat down, the appetizers were brought to us...When it was time to order, we tried to ask for the various dishes....but a few seconds later the owner stopped us saying that she had finished everything, for the second course of meat there was only the lamb chops and a side of fries, "on Sunday I bring everything out"..., as for the first courses, she added "please don't choose them all different for me..." We had to get up and leave. One, if you take the reservation, LET ME KNOW about Sunday, you explain to me what could happen, so I can decide whether to come or not, alternatively as soon as I arrive and sit down, YOU TELL ME, at most I can switch to pizza or choose not to sit down at all.... One already lives with a thousand impositions during the day, going out to eat must be a moment of relaxation, you can't impose your rules on me, forcing me in some way to stay (something I won't do in the future if it were to happen again)... With the excuse of the Informal Place you can't treat me the way you think..., people work hard to earn money, and if they decide to go out to dinner they can't throw it away because you are not honest and think you are smart. Furthermore, the portions of pasta that arrived were small... they could have made a greater effort, given that there were only those... instead ZERO... zero expenditure of energy to "repair" the situation a little.... They would have bought us again for little, in short..., if you are tired on Sunday evening, do as those who close on Sunday evening. It would be more coherent, for my part I am very tired of finding around, in place of Logical Traditions, increasingly similar to assembly lines, to the various Mc and similar multinationals.... I have no intention of throwing my money away nor, above all, of wasting time... I hope that the post will be of help to those who make it a question of "general decay" of culture and customs now visible at all levels. Dear Relative, Next time try to recover your good manners, it would already be a lot.

01/06/2025: Simple but very welcoming environment, genuine food, generous portions. Off the beaten track, given the altitude, cool climate. Must try!
