01/02/2026: The restaurant is located by the sea, and the staff is professional and friendly. We ate outside on a fantastic day. We even brought our dog, who was welcome. Excellent food made with quality ingredients. Recommended!

08/11/2025: The restaurant has ample space overlooking the sea with a veranda, and there's a good selection on the menu. However, it's a bit noisy, with too many flies, and the food is good but nothing special.

18/01/2026: Small, cute, and welcoming! The owner was friendly and very helpful; the service was quick. The meatballs, in all the varieties we tried, were very tasty! The price is right! Definitely a place to return to!

12/01/2026: I've known this little place for many years and never tire of dining there. All the meatballs are delicious, made with high-quality meat and ingredients. The flavors are always well-balanced and delicate, never overly seasoned or salty. My favorite is the beer with onions... even though they all get a 10. The family is always kind and hospitable, and the owners' warmth and friendliness are truly unique. There's truly always something new to try.

29/01/2026: I recently visited this pizzeria in the heart of Rome, and it was a wonderful experience! We discovered it through the Baedeker travel guide, where it was already recommended – and I can wholeheartedly agree with that recommendation. The food was simply outstanding. We had pizza, fries, and falafel, and no matter which dish arrived at our table, everything was freshly prepared, incredibly aromatic, and absolutely delicious. The quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the preparation were evident in every bite. The service was also very friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. A definite recommendation – we would come back anytime!

29/12/2025: It's the first time I've ever visited this restaurant with my parents. What a marvel to find such a warm welcome, but above all, such exquisite goodness. What can I say about such exquisite, flavorful, and tender lamb? Even now, my taste buds are still enchanted by its deliciousness! Not to mention the excellent arrosticini, delicious and plentiful (a full 10 per portion). In a beautiful open-view refrigerator, beautiful, well-aged meats (steaks that are every bit as good as the renowned Florentine steaks, tagliata, and ribs). The wine selection was good, from Brunello to the excellent Cesanese from Cantina Terenzi, which paired well with the excellent gnocchi with wild boar sauce and a pasta dish like patacche with Scottona sauce, which was exceptional, soft and creamy. It was a very positive experience, both in terms of quality and price. I urge readers who are kind enough to read what I wrote to see for themselves how genuine and good I found it. We will definitely be back!

29/12/2025: A wonderful lunch with our grandchildren, five of us: everything was truly delicious, from the warm bruschetta with lard, to the pappardelle with wild boar, to the patacche with scottona sauce, a delicious shank of beef, and not to mention the roast lamb. Everything was excellent, from the service to the family atmosphere. Unusually, at the entrance, there's a refrigerator with excellent meats: scottona, Fiorentina, and Tomahawk. The wine list is good, with a good selection and good value; the Cesanese Hernicus is a must-try! Last but not least, the restrooms are spotlessly clean and well-stocked. If we go to the restaurant, we know we can't go wrong here!!! Well done!!

10/02/2026: Unfortunately, I must admit that the staff and management didn't behave very well during an incident that happened to me while I was inside. That's why I don't like going there anymore. Perhaps time will tell. I'd like to complete my review by adding the reason for the mysterious incident. One of the usual mornings when I went with a friend to have breakfast inside the restaurant, a stranger who had entered purposely stole my bag, which I had leaning against the back of my chair. Inside the bag were my house keys, wallet, and all my documents, cell phone, and money. The staff didn't offer any help. I was obviously distraught and without money, and no action was taken to help us. They even made my friend pay for our breakfast! And later, when we asked the waiters if they could help us track down the thief to see if we could recover something from her bag, they replied, "Well, these things happen..." Customer service, especially when faced with difficulties, is the most important aspect, and unfortunately, this was completely lacking on this occasion.

27/12/2025: I stopped by Bistrot 23 during a stroll outside the city center, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. It has a very welcoming and informal atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely breakfast or a quiet brunch. The ambiance is simple yet refined, with a mood that makes you feel like you've stepped into a small neighborhood bistro, far from the tourist bustle of the city. I particularly appreciated the quality of the products: fragrant artisanal croissants, generously filled tramezzini, and a coffee that paired everything with just the right amount of heat. The staff was courteous, willing to explain what they were serving, and happy to recommend a few specials of the day. There's also a good selection of sandwiches and drinks if you want to stop for a light aperitivo. The atmosphere is suitable for those looking for a place to work with a coffee and free Wi-Fi, as well as those who simply want to relax and read a book. Although it's not in the historic center, I think it's a little gem for those who want to experience Rome through its less touristy locales. In short: Bistrot 23 is one of those places that pampers you with simplicity, good quality, and a genuine atmosphere. I'd gladly return to try the cocktails and savory dishes, which looked promising.

11/02/2026: Terrible experience I went for lunch with my partner, and the first thing we were told as soon as we walked in was that the kitchen closed at 3:30 PM, while we were there at 1 PM. We should have known right then. The service was terrible; we waited over half an hour to order. The arrosticini were completely devoid of salt. Not to mention the price: for an appetizer and 16 arrosticini, we paid over €60 for two. It was nothing compared to the old pub that was there before, which, despite being a pub, the service and hospitality were 100 times better. It was the worst lunch of my life.

The staff is friendly and professional, always present but never intrusive. The location, outside of town and surrounded by greenery, offers tranquility and makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. A restaurant that never disappoints.
