24/09/2025: Great traditional food, beautiful view from the terrace and extremely friendly service, even while trying to understand my fragments of Italian. Would definitely come back anytime.

05/09/2025: Found by chance via Google Maps, it was a lovely surprise. The owners are very kind, the place is very well-kept and has a very impressive seating area on the terrace. The food is good, including traditional local dishes. The prices are absolutely fair.

27/08/2025: We had dinner with friends and family at this beautiful seaside spot. The location is very quiet, suitable for children, and the service was impeccable. The waiters are always very kind and knowledgeable. For appetizers, we ordered salmon tartare with avocado, octopus and potato salad, and bruschetta with clams. For our first course, we ordered spaghetti with shrimp. Divine. For our second course, baked sea bream and sea bass with baked potatoes were truly delicious. For dessert, we had watermelon, tiramisu, and the house tart, which was also delicious. Service, hospitality, and great availability from Giovanna. We will definitely be back. Thank you. 💞.

12/07/2025: We stopped here to grab a bite to eat on the way home. It was a truly unique experience! The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Vito (a true gem) made us some delicious panzerotti that made us want to stay in Puglia. Plus, the owner offered us other delicacies to try. I recommend this place not only for the food but also for the kindness of the entire staff. The horse meat panzerotto was truly something special. If there were 10 stars, I'd give it all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We started with their homemade Arancini – crispy on the outside, perfectly creamy on the inside – the kind that instantly tells you it’s made with love. Then came the pizzas: the spicy Vesuvio, bursting with bold flavors; the mortadella and stracciatella combo, rich and indulgent; and the bresaola pizza, a delicate balance of savory and fresh. Each dough was light and airy, with just the right crunch – clearly made in-house and with care. What sets Il Grifone apart is the soul they put into every dish. All ingredients are homemade or locally sourced, and you can taste the difference in every bite. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s a place to feel at home. 20/10/2025: There's an English menu and a server who speaks English. The risotto was delicious. However, those in a hurry might find it a bit inconvenient. The steak seems to take a while to cook.

11/10/2025: I bought tiramisu and gelato. It's located near St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, so it was perfect for a hot day! However, because it was so hot, it melted extremely quickly, so I had to eat it quickly...! It tasted great!

20/09/2025: Cacio e pepe drowned in spaghetti water; I ate it because I was hungry. The carbonara was tasteless. The meat was decent. It must have been a bad night. The waiter was very polite.

29/06/2025: Beautiful location, modern structure with attention to detail. Good quality of products, kind and helpful staff. Excellent coffee and pastries. Good lunch and dinner, very good aperitif with apericena.

09/05/2025: We ordered three San Pellegrino cocktails in bottles, they showed up to fill the glasses with a very poor quality and completely worn out supermarket plastic bottle. I ask myself: "how can you serve such a low quality aperitif at three euros each considering that the plastic bottle costs €1.50 to the public?" I was told that the place had taken a bad turn.... I fully confirm, I will never return.

05/10/2025: A recommended experience: eating on the Gaeta waterfront, where fishermen dock in the evening with their catch of the day, which goes straight to the fishmonger... who cooks your fresh catch simply, but by a hand that knows its stuff well. "Rustic" atmosphere: no table service, an ice bucket for your personalized wine, and decidedly original. I had the best and most flavorful calamari platter ever (just calamari with no added bread), and a very tender octopus salad. Value for money (€41) ✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️

02/10/2025: The linguine with mussels... A truly delicious treat!!!! The fried calamari and etc. Unique!!!

05/10/2025: The sushi here is truly awful. However, the fresh appetizer (not from the pre-packaged trays), the mixed grill, with the arrosticini (mutton), and the buffalo stew were truly exceptional. The place is exceptional, well-kept, and the kindness of Luca and Orlando is not affected but sincere. I strongly advise against it for those who don't like gigantic portions (not much more). And finally, the house liqueur and coffee are free. The price? Very fair. The only flaw: they don't offer a pick-up service, because after a Christmas lunch like this, I'd rather come home.

15/09/2025: I can only say EXCELLENT and that is an understatement, invited to a wedding with an entire gluten-free menu, I was truly pampered, from the selection of appetizers taken care of in detail to the complete menu identical to the gluten-free one, even the final biscuits... everything perfect and delicious, I was truly speechless, congratulations to everyone...

27/08/2025: Spacious, clean, and colorful suite rooms, a garden area with an adult pool, a hot tub, and a children's pool, large umbrellas, and a bar. Lunch is available. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and willing to accommodate guests' needs. Excellent gluten- and lactose-free options, too. Excellent value for money.
