Our best dining experience in Rome was enjoyed here. There are free taster plates offered with drinks and the food on the menu was exceptional. Aubergine parmigana and tiramisu was great and the grappa riserva finished everything perfectly. Enjoyable atmosphere outside where locals chat. Bring cash for tips as they cannot accept by card. Arrive before 8 to get seated or expect a long wait.

My understanding is that their sister restaurant is Il Sorpasso which is a block over and is always packed (it looks amazing although we never got in). We came over here and had an incredible and interesting meal. The staff was tremendously friendly and they seated us on a busy night. It was a real treat.

After an afternoon at the Vatican, we stopped at this place for a glass of wine and the typical Italian charcuterie boards. Everything was excellent! A place frequented by locals, few tourists. It has a pleasant terrace and a good atmosphere, very relaxed. Friendly service, they explain everything about the wines and charcuterie.

19/06/2026: Excellent food, competitive prices, and friendly service. Unfortunately, they struggle with large groups (there were 17 of us, and they occasionally missed something). Otherwise, everything was perfect, especially for small groups.

09/05/2026: Very nice place, the staff were really kind and helpful. The wine was very good, and the only flaw was the platter. Although the quality of the ingredients was unquestionable, I would have expected a little more considering the price. That said, I highly recommend it.
