The first time we went to Alfredo di Roma was at Epcot Center (Disney Orlando) in the 90s. At that time, the fettuccine Alfredo was already famous. Decades have passed and the restaurant continues with prestige, quality and tradition. We arrived in Rome and the first thing my father-in-law asked for was to eat at Ristorante Il Vero Alfredo. We decided to go during the week at lunchtime. We arranged to arrive around 1:00 PM. The early hour option is great, as the restaurant is relatively quiet and has plenty of tables to choose from. The service is excellent. All the waiters and managers are very attentive and polite. One of the waiters even speaks Portuguese, as many customers are from Brazil. The menu has options for all tastes and budgets. But we are faithful to tradition!! We ordered the famous fettuccine Alfredo and for dessert the tiramisu. The taste of the food is wonderful and the fame is well deserved. Over the years, little has changed. The restaurant's dining room is a history lesson. Photos of various personalities from film, theater, and politics. I feel like spending hours looking at the photos!! If you go to Rome, make time to visit Ristorante Il Vero Alfredo. You'll love it!!

We found this restaurant by accident while walking around town its in construction zone now but when we saw people coming in we decided to go inside just for a drink but after we saw pictures on the walls we decided to try favorite pasta alfredo and it was amazing visited Rome for the first time and tried many restaurants in different areas but if we ever come back we go to this place again no other places comes even close to this place

A must try when in Roma yes it is a bit pricey but worth it...the original fettuccine Alfredo was delicious and filling - they had good antipasti would recommend the fried mix - tiramisu was so delicious - staff were friendly and service was quick

Had a wonderful meal at Ristorante Il Vero Alfredo. The food was absolutely authentic and delicious, accompanied by a great warm atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and attentive throughout. Will definitely be coming back!

This is an institution. The walls are lined with celebrities, athletes, musicians, politicians etc. who have dined here. Their claim to fame is the fact that the famous Alfredo sauce was created here in 1908. It is actually very good. Different than the version in the United States. I think much better but there is a debate. Overall, the food was ok. It is an overpriced establishment and other than the Alfredo there really isn’t a stand out dish. The food is not bad but it is not worth the price or the hype. Service was great.

The grilled seafood was perfectly cooked with fresh flavors and perfectly balanced seasoning, and the signature tiramisu was the ideal way to end the meal. The service was exceptional. Every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming, professional, and always smiling. I will definitely return to Il Vero Alfredo every time I visit Rome. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience in Rome.

Our family absolutely loved coming here! I was a little worried it might be just another tourist trap, but it exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the presentation was fantastic. What really made it special was that it wasn’t just about the meal—it was the entire experience. Everyone had an amazing time, and we would definitely come back!
