20/08/2024: The only good point: the price. But when I think about it, it's not even worth that much. Let's say it's safe, because it's also the barracks of a lot of policemen/constables/customs officers. There is a sewer smell in the bathroom, the walls of the room are dirty and moldy. Air conditioning works well, WiFi is mercilessly weak. There was only one receptionist from the staff, who was smiling and kind, the rest were grumpy. It is not in the description, but the parking lot is terribly expensive (30 euros/night). The gate of this one is managed by the receptionist, you almost have to beg him to open it, in the meantime you are standing on the side of the road and passers-by. If you want to go out from inside, you are practically a prisoner. Next to the main entrance, there is a small rest area with a smoking area and a coffee machine. Next to him was a trash can with so much trash that it didn't even fit, and even next to it was a large rucksack.

20/08/2024: We were looking for accommodation for 3 adults for a visit to the city of Trieste. The hotel is in the suburbs, but the bus stop is right next to the hotel, so we chose public transport to visit the city. Parking is expensive, but there was plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets. The rooms correspond to 3 stars. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean. However, there is no refrigerator in the room and I missed the hanger and shelf in the bathroom. On the walls we also found the remains of mosquitoes swatted by previous guests... Breakfast is 15 EUR/person. It's not worth it. There were no vegetables, there were a few slices of bread and we could only choose from 2 types of cold cuts. There was not enough pastry either, but at least it was delicious. We had dinner there on the first day after finding the restaurants in the area closed on Sunday. They only had pizza, which was surprisingly delicious, but the next day we looked for another restaurant. We did not have high expectations, so the hotel was not a big disappointment.

16/08/2024: Really a bad place!! The waiter takes the child's order for ice cream and, after the child breaks the glasses, tells us that we should have told us that it was for the child who would have provided us with the paper cup! this cost us an extra 5 euros for the child for breaking the glass and they didn't even want to give the little one the ice cream back! Definitely a place to avoid!!!

14/08/2024: One of the places where in 41 years of life I have been most disappointed. Work canteen dishes without any taste, boiled rather than fried with polenta still raw underneath, an old, sad and expensive place as if it were in a supercentre. Go elsewhere.

05/05/2024: We ate takeaway but everything was very quick (15\20 min) I highly recommend the rolls, soy spaghetti and ravioli. At the checkout a very kind and helpful lady.

05/08/2024: I asked for 2 pizzas and received the pizzas half on the tray half on the glass where people put their hands on. Pizza is good but the service unygienic.one of the ladies was very careful and attentive (short cut hair), the other one with the pony tail was sloppy and made me regret I have come here to eat. A pity...the taste in the mouth is very bad....

23/07/2024: Melted lactose-free ice cream! When we heard the complaints, the lady with gray hair and glasses at the counter immediately lost patience, saying that the problem was different lactose-free milk and that we had been holding it too much, despite the ice inside. Same thing happened to other customers, who were given another ice cream but with lactose. Rather than the fact itself, what was unacceptable was the behavior of the barmaid, arrogant, denying and inadequate.

24/07/2024: We had a great experience. We ate excellent fish, the price was fair, and the atmosphere was friendly. Here you will always find fresh fish and a lot of cordiality. We will definitely come back.

08/08/2024: Wir gehen sehr gerne gut essen und sind auch bereit dafür entsprechend Geld auszugeben. Wenn wir auf Reisen sind wöhlen wir die Restaurants höufig auf Empfehlung vom Guide Michelin,Gault Millau oder Insider Empfehlungen aus . So auch heute , allerdings war dies der absolute Reinfall. Die Bedienung inkompetent , nach einem Aperitiv wurden wir nicht gefragt, die Speisekarte konnte sie uns nicht entprechend erklären, wir wollten einen leichten Weiswein aus der Region und bekamen einen sehr geschmacksintensiven. Den sie dann freundlicherweise zurücknahm. Das Essen war geschmacklos und auch einfallslos, es entsprach in keinster Weise einer kreativen Küche mit besonderen Geschmackserlebnissen.

07/08/2024: We expected to spend a nice evening at Al Baggetto - given the good reviews and the Michelin listing. When we entered the place it was completely empty. Nevertheless we had to wait quite a while because the only waitress was working the phone. The ambience of the room was from about 30-40 years ago, no indirect lighting or candles etc, everything very basic. When handing out the menu we were told what wasn’t available and what was changed. No recommendations at all. The amuse guele was a kind of fish creme on an old pice of white bread. The accompanying bread was at least a day old. My primo piatto was a tartare di manzo. It tasted more like a paste and very little like meat. The eggs yolk was hard and on top of the paste. My secondo piatto was a sliced tuna medium raw and cold sliced red cabbage. No dressing. My wife had pasta with grilled shrimps and beans. It didn’t taste fresh and the plate was barely decorated. We both wanted a glass of red wine, so we were offered to choose between two. I was one of the my worst dinner in many years. The best thing was a cold bottle of San Pellegrino water. The bill came to 109,00 Euro for really bad food. After this terrible experience I looked up all the raving reviews and realized that none of them were from this year. Even the 2023 reviews were a lot less enthusiastic than the ones from the years before. There obviously must have been some major changes either in ownership or in the kitchen. The photos you see from much much earlier have nothing in common with how the dishes look today. The Michelin Sign and listing is really misleading and they should checkout out. If you want to have a nice diner experience and your are willing to spend a fair amount of money- stay away from this place
