12/09/2025: The place is quaint, and you can eat outside in the courtyard, shaded by the trees. Service is fast, and the owners are attentive and courteous. The food is all authentic and high-quality; the cured meats and cheeses are excellent, as are the vegetables and crostini. The desserts are delicious. The prices are very fair. Definitely worth trying again. Reservations are recommended, as it's always crowded during opening hours.
26/08/2025: A wonderful experience, for the food (excellent quality cured meats, cheeses, bread, and desserts!), for the setting (the courtyard of a country house... like being with family!), for the punctual service (very fast, despite the many guests!), for the serene and joyful atmosphere that enriched our holiday! Thank you so much... I recommend everyone to try it!!!

04/01/2026: You have to look for it because it's just outside the center, but it's really worth it. I had dinner with my family at this restaurant and we had a great time. The service was courteous and friendly from start to finish. The welcome entree included a very welcome bubbly. The dishes were beautifully presented and excellent, both the meat and fish dishes (the octopus was excellent!). Tiramisu for all tastes (we had the classic, 😋). The price was right.
03/01/2026: I come from the South, where food is almost sacred, but I can't deny that the quality here is second to none.
Excellent, tasty, and satisfying food
Friendly and generous service
Welcoming, spacious, and warm atmosphere
Four of us came, along with my family; the timing was perfect and pleasant.

20/01/2026: A charming restaurant right in the city center, offering meat and fish dishes, plus a couple of vegetarian options. Everything was delicious, and the waiter was incredibly kind and friendly (plus the prices are fair). I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

04/01/2026: Last night I asked for a table for two... it was full and they told me to call to reserve... this morning I called to reserve for tonight and they told me it was sold out. But where would a person coming from out of town go for something to eat if you tell the customer that a reservation is required and then when they call you say it's sold out? Don't tell them that a reservation is required. It's not good for tourists. You can't expect someone from out of town to reserve, especially at a restaurant you don't know.

02/01/2026: A somewhat pretentious restaurant in terms of quality/price… some things were tasty, like the eggplant meatballs and the chicken… others not so much, the gnocchi with goulash and guanciale (hard, the sauce was very paprika-heavy, and I doubt the guanciale was real)… the chicken rice was hard (although I don't know if that's how the variety they use here is supposed to be, but it wasn't to my liking). The service was rather inattentive and bland… The atmosphere is excellent, very well decorated and warm, and pets are allowed. The quality-price ratio is excessive for what it tries to be but can't deliver.
30/12/2025: We stopped for lunch today at this lovely place. We had tartare (good but spicy, with no indication of the spicy setting), fuzi (the sauce was good, but the pasta was undercooked), and burnt baked potatoes. It's a real shame, because the waitress was kind and the place was really cozy.

04/01/2026: The atmosphere was so warm, we had two breakfasts and one excellent dinner. The service was more than friendly, and well done for the fundraising efforts they've started!

01/02/2026: Excellent at describing all the dishes, welcoming and friendly, fast service, fresh ingredients, and typical Trieste dishes with local seafood! Not for the sophisticated...closed without notice on Sunday evenings!
05/01/2026: We love to go to this place, each time we are in Trieste, we make sure we book a table (and one needs to do this ahead of time!) and eat here. The tagliere di pesce (different options of cold and hot starters of fish and seafood) is a must to try.
Definitely recommend this place.

23/12/2025: They specifically ordered this ice cream, I liked everything, it was delicious. Three liquid with two spikes came out to 10 euros. Pear - delicious and unusual, cherry, walnut, pistachio and strachitelo - in order of preference. Very tasty and the service is pleasant 🤗

We entered this restaurant during opening hours, completely empty, in memory of our ten-year anniversary.
It was the restaurant where we ate before making our relationship official.
This time, however, we were going with our two children.
The owner denied us entry, blaming the lack of space, especially for the stroller (which was foldable, by the way, but whatever).
We immediately assumed our presence was unwelcome because we had two small children with us.
This was confirmed shortly afterward when we called to ask if there were four free seats, and were told yes.
This is simply yet another anti-family friendly restaurant, one we will never go to again.

07/01/2026: A wonderful osmiza (a farm in the Karst region between Trieste and Slovenia where you can enjoy excellent cured meats and cheeses produced on-site) with plenty of seating and large tables inside, a beautiful glass-enclosed veranda (we ate here since it was January 3rd), and plenty of space outside. The ample parking is an added bonus.
We sampled truly excellent cured meats and cheeses, savory strudels, and sausages in bread...all at very reasonable prices and with excellent service: everyone was very friendly, kind, and helpful, creating a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere in a beautiful location surrounded by a lovely lawn with olive trees and farm animals.
I had a great time and highly recommend it!
