22/03/2025: Very small restaurant, with few seats and dinners organized in two shifts, the first from 7pm, the second from 9pm. Large menu. I had goulash gnocchi and a salad enriched with speck and fondue. Of the two, I liked the salad much more, but I wasn't familiar with the flavor of the goulash, which seemed to me to be a bland version of the stew. To drink half a liter of house red, not bad. Cost for gnocchi, salad, wine and water €33.

12/03/2025: Delicious food, we ordered fiori di zucchina (fried zucchini flowers served with mozzarella and olives - super tasty), gnocchi with goulash (amazing, the meat is super tender, melts in your mouth, delicious dumplings), salsiccia in crosta di panne (quite a heavy dish, meat as if baked in a bread crust, served with beans and cabbage) also very good. The best gnocchi by far! The service was very nice, we said we would share all the dishes and they divided them all into two plates! Additionally, we received ice cream tins and a large basket of fresh, crusty bread. I recommend it 👌👌👌 (in the photos, half a portion of each dish)

17/03/2025: Atmosfera magica, ti riporta indietro nel tempo. Mi ha riportato agli inizi degli anno '80, dove tutto era "allegria". Il titolare è simpaticissimo e un tipo molto "originale". Abbiamo pranzato BENISSIMO e con una spesa modica. Complimenti, torneremo SICURAMENTE. Grazie

08/04/2025: The courgettes were not cooked well ok you expect medicore food here but some were hot and others cold must have been carelessly stuck in the microwave. They did not taste fresh sausages like something out of the supermarket But the main issue was the rude waitress who refused to present an itemized bill . I sensed this was because they had sneekly added on a €3:00 extra charge for no valid reason I normally tip if the service is good . However I noticed they only ask the Italian clients if everything is ok and treat them with no contempt. Because I was not a local they took advantage and knowingly ignored my repeated attempts to get presented with the bill so I could check everything. The very unfriendly and hostile manager just ignored the waitress exploiting matters in a rude way . She also made threats . But now I have the receipt maybe I'll go to the authorities as I will certainly look to get back €3 not specified. I don't recommend and if you keep a record of all you order as you go

06/04/2025: Lunch beyond expectations. Excellent, very fresh cold and hot starters. Equally appetizing first courses. Not having tasted the second courses we will have to return with great pleasure. Finally, the owners: a competent and above all welcoming couple! See you soon!

30/03/2025: We went for lunch today, nothing to say except that we were more than happy. Restaurant in the center of Trieste just 7 minutes walk from Piazza Unità D'Italia, excellent service with attentive, kind and very knowledgeable staff, all fish food and excellent quality. Average high price but more than fair. Definitely to return.

09/03/2025: A place like few others, clean, welcoming and well-kept. Excellent pizzas and dishes. Really very friendly and welcoming owners. We have a little dog, and when they saw him they wanted to share that they also have two little dogs like ours, and then they wanted to cuddle ours by offering him a frankfurter. Two exquisite people.

16/03/2025: Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo ristorante Il personale è fantastico: cortese, attento e disponibile. Pesce fresco e qualità ottima. Come antipasto consiglio assolutamente il tagliere misto di pesce crudo e caldo. Mentre come primo, ho preso la calamarata con pesto di pomodori secchi, calamari e gamberi. Considerata la freschezza degli ingredienti e l'attenzione ai dettagli in ogni piatto, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è decisamente positivo. Tornerò sicuramente!

31/01/2025: mi unisco alle recensioni positive di chi mi ha preceduto. Posto informale, personale simpatico, atmosfera rilassata e cibo assolutamente fresco. Da non sottovalutare il fatto che non si esce dal locale con "l'olezzo" tipico di molte osterie di pesce..

22/03/2025: Even though we didn't have a reservation, they had a table for us. It's a small, charming restaurant. They also have outdoor tables in the summer. The food was excellent. The chef loves what he does. I watched him for a bit. The service staff are very friendly and prompt. We'll definitely be back 😀

22/03/2025: Hervorragende Küche. Der Koch liebt seinen Beruf. Es wird auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Der Service ist schnell und total freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

02/04/2025: Non capisco che problemi possa avere chi mette una stella… ogni esperienza è a sé, certo, ma già solo la qualità del vino, dei piatti a buffet e dei cicchetti vale 5 stelle. Il servizio è ottimo, l’ambiente super tradizionale è autentico… in 3 giorni a Trieste sono stato qui 2 volte, perché mi h veramente conquistato. Se volete provare ottimi vini autoctoni, semplicemente lasciatevi consigliare dal proprietario. Tutto da 10/10

24/03/2025: Ho letto in rete che questa è una tra le migliori pizzerie d'Italia. Incuriosito mi ci sono recato con mia madre a pranzo. Sono un amante della buona pizza ed è sempre difficile trovare chi la fa bene. Abbiamo ordinato uan diavola ed una margherita con supplemento di pomodoro, una piccola birra ed uno spriz piccolo. Le pizze erano mediocri, sicuramente non tra le migliori d'Italia voglio sperare, e neppure di Trieste; ma l'amara sorpresa è stata il conto: lo spriz, peraltro sbagliato (acqua di rubinetto non frizzante), è costato 4,50€!!! due dita scarse di vino (che ci vuole coraggio a chiamarlo vino) e acqua di rubinetto... MAI PIù!!!
