Personale gentile ma attesa infinita: mezz'ora per prendere la comanda. C'era gente certo, ma non era tutto esaurito. Un consiglio: magari se la cucina impone di attendere (e ci sta) prendete almeno l'ordine delle bevande e offrite un cicchetto.😉
Prezzi un po' altini per il tipo di offerta.

02/12/2025: On Sunday, November 30th, I was driving down from Piancavallo and we stopped at this place for a drink and a bite to eat. The location is undoubtedly beautiful, but the staff didn't even bother to say hello or take my order. I'm speechless. I waited about 15 minutes and then we left. They probably have too many customers and don't want any more, because otherwise I can't explain.
02/12/2025: They didn't give us anything to eat. There was a shortage of staff, but there were places. We went elsewhere.

27/08/2025: Original. A one-man show, or rather, a one-girl show, where Giulia is the star. She's the chef, manager, and manager of this truly unique osteria. The menu is concise and carefully crafted, with dishes each unique, drawing on traditional ingredients and reinterpretations. Octopus is Giulia's signature dish. The food is good, reasonably priced. A few things could be improved, but overall, it's a pleasant place, a bit hip and lighthearted. There's a lot of passion. I recommend it for anyone looking for an evening that's different from the usual osteria.

Fairly good welcome, run by a mother and son.
The son was very kind, the mother was not at all disrespectful.
It's a simple place; there are no menus with prices listed.
My husband and I stopped by chance, since we were passing through.
We ordered a fish appetizer to share, not particularly excellent, and a fish main course, also to share.
Two desserts, and two coffees.
We went to the cashier to pay, the lady gave us the bill, and right there and then, I paid, a bit shocked.
Basically, she charged us double for an appetizer, €23.00, instead of just one.
Unfortunately, I checked the receipt at the hotel and couldn't complain.
A scam, pure and simple.
25/10/2025: We had lunch with the workers' menu. The food was more than excellent and the price was very reasonable.

Buona la varietà di cibo dall'antipasto al dolce e del vino proposta da un menù che non si presenta come un'enciclopedia treccani per numero di pagine a garanzia della freschezza degli alimenti cucinati ed impiattati con cura ed eleganza.
A me che in 41 anni di lavoro frequentare locali ed alberghi è stata la quotidianità e penso di poter dare un giudizio sereno ed obiettivo, sono bastati pochi minuti dell'accoglienza all'arrivo all'ordinazione, per capire che il locale non è gestito da gente improvvisata nell'ambito della ristorazione ma da persone che ci mettono passione e cura anche nei piccoli particolari facendo in modo che al momento di accomiatarsi già si pensi al voler tornare nuovamente.
C'è da tenere presente, inoltre, che i piatti sono preparati con prodotti coltivati od allevati in loco da loro e fatti in casa.
Ottimo servizio e prezzi onesti per quanto ho avuto modo di mangiare.
Nella fattispecie, ho iniziato con del salame cotto all'aceto di mele e insalata di cappuccio viola marinato, per passare a dei buonissimi e delicati gnocchi viola con salsa al gorgonzola e finire con un semifreddo al mascarpone con coulisse di lampone.
Gli altri commensali hanno preso terrina di coniglio e finocchio alla liquirizia, insalatina di rapa rossa con maionese vegana e verdurine croccanti e chips di riso, bavarese di melanzane con crumble salato.
Casareccia lunghe verdi all'aglio orsino con cremoso all'uovo e speck croccante.
Frico con polenta chips di patate e cipolla caramellata, lombo di maiale cotto a bassa temperatura con composta di mele e zenzero.
Carpaccio di ananas con salsa al cocco, sorbetto.
Buoni vini e liquori.
Lo consiglio senza paura di essere smentito.

02/11/2025: Found this place by chance. In the center of Sacile. A well-kept, clean atmosphere with beautiful exposed beams. Friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious food, especially the prosciutto crudo. The only drawback: it's not for everyone's budget.

08/06/2025: My trusted fishmonger! Always top quality products and level. But what makes the difference in my opinion is the wonderful service and kindness. Don't be fooled by the lower prices of other stores. Instead, lower the quantity but don't give up on quality

16/08/2025: I've never had the opportunity to dine at Taverna dell'Urogallo, but my experience began with an al fresco breakfast where I enjoyed some truly delicious homemade tarts. Since then, every time I visit Piancavallo, this has become a regular stop. The last time I visited, the talented Lorenzo literally won me over with an irresistible array of desserts: I couldn't help but try them all! It's thanks to this experience that I've decided to give the place a well-deserved five-star review. A special thanks to Lorenzo also for the superb tiramisu, made unique by a secret ingredient I won't reveal... but which I invite everyone to discover for themselves.
