16/07/2025: Perfect for children (lots of games, football and basketball courts), excellent for adults, reasonable prices

26/08/2025: A small café with seating right on the street. The selection of sweet and savory pastries is extensive and delicious. The cappuccino tastes like a real Italian coffee. The prices are absolutely fair, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Perfect for a quick stopover.

21/08/2025: This is a bakery and pastry shop. The bread, as well as the desserts (strudel, fruit baskets, cream puffs, doughnuts, etc.) are very good. Regarding the latter, I recommend trying the carsolina (or cream pastry) because, in my humble opinion, it's the best in Gorizia. The staff is very courteous, smiling, and kind. I highly recommend it.

05/06/2025: The cappuccino served no longer has the same quality that only a few months ago I would have described as the best in Gorizia! Too bad!

15/05/2025: Wonderful to start the day, cosy atmosphere, pleasant calm jazz music, in the centre of Gorizia, enjoying the view of morning vibes or reading a newspaper or a magazine while drinking your first cup of cappuccino and eating a croissaint.

13/09/2025: Quality sandwich (both the bread and the meat) and meat cooked to perfection. Good selection of canned/bottled beers. Prices are high, but that's how it is in the area. 2 stars for the service because one of the two burgers we ordered had a hair in it (my mistake for not mentioning it). It's a shame because the service was quick and friendly. They don't do fries.

13/07/2025: Rude, they sent us away with the excuse that they didn't have enough dough for two takeout pizzas... with the pizzeria full! Shame on them just to make more money! The prices displayed online are actually at least 60% higher!! Big scammers!

07/08/2025: Good dishes, daily menu, adequate portions. The staff is kind and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is the use of too much single-use plastic: single-serving cheeses, ketchup and mayonnaise in individual sachets... At a time when sustainability is so important, it would be nice to see more attention to this aspect. I hope they can take some steps in this direction in the future, because otherwise, the place really deserves it.

30/04/2025: Cena galattica! Personale super cortese e accogliente, aperitivo di benvenuto e atmosfera tipica molto molto carina. Abbiamo preso il menù degustazione, favoloso il formaggio di fossa con cioccolato fondente, al pari dei tortelli di pane. Come secondo salame cotto con aceto e cipolle. Per finire l'immancabile Palacinka. Vino della casa molto gradevole. Da provare di sicuro se siete a Gorizia.

10/07/2025: Fermati per un aperitivo. Servizio scarso. Due spritz aperol su un tavolo senza nemmeno un tovagliolo o un posacenere. Cannuccia appoggiata bagnata da me sul tavolo, non usandola. Non hanno portato che un piattino mini di patatine. Ne un oliva ne un cicchetto con un po di riso o pasta. Questo è un ristorante ed era aperto. Giardino vicino i tavoli mal tenuto. (è comunale ma.....) Prezzo esoso per quanto offerto. 10€

14/08/2025: We stopped in because our preferred restaurant was full, but our daughter was already hungry. The prices for the small rolls are truly reasonable. They're simply delicious, and the prices for the Spritz and beer are totally reasonable.

08/08/2025: When we were presented with snacks with olives and peanuts along with spit-out olive stones, we were a bit irritated

18/08/2025: The food is good, the portions are generous and the restaurant staff is polite and courteous, on the other hand the service is slow. Twenty minutes to order and another 30 before the dishes arrived. All in all, the restaurant does well.

17/08/2025: Fried tempura with five vegetables and fresh fish. So good!

22/07/2025: The atmosphere is a little dated, but otherwise excellent 🍕. Recommended.

06/06/2025: Pasquale's pizza is top! And he also made us a heart-shaped pizza ;-), thanks, we wanted to eat there the next day too but it rained and we, on a motorbike, couldn't delay our departure at that point, but we would have come back for the legendary dishes of Papa Matteo!

19/06/2025: Trieste per lavoro. Pomeriggio libero a Marina Julia. Mare, sole e aperitivo. Direzione Vicenza ma ci siamo detti ceniamo in zona così facciamo presto. Cerchiamo su Trip Advisor ed ecco che a 3,5 km ci compare “Locanda La Ferula” Staranzano (GO), mi sembra ok e via… Locale molto carino, ci fanno sedere sotto dei gazebo colorati acqua e menu… Piatti originali dai nomi altrettanto originali: sushi agricolo, caprese impressionista ecc. Abbiamo mangiato bene, ma non voglio rovinare la sorpresa con parole che ridurrebbero le aspettative perciò vi invito ad andarli a scoprire… Purtroppo però la lentezza del servizio ci ha reso l’esperienza mediocre. Entrati alle 19:45 usciti quasi alle 22:00… avevamo anche detto di aver fretta! Dispiace. Le 5 star saranno per la prossima volta.

07/03/2025: Gli amici non lo conoscevano, ed avendolo noi provato di recente li portiamo certi di far bella figura ! Polpettine, flan, frico, cotechino, primi piatti….tutto eccellente, amici soddisfatti particolarmente dopo aver assaggiato i deliziosi dolci…ed abbondantemente bevuto dell’ottimo Refosco. Torneremo in Friuli questa primavera e non mancheremo di tornare a trovarvi
