05/02/2026: Bad experience. High prices for ridiculous portions. I ordered gnocchi with wild boar sauce, and it was topped with Simmental. Their trick is not showing the menu, so you order without knowing the cost. I'll draw a veil over the rest. Avoid if you want to impress guests or friends.

05/01/2026: We ate it for lunch, which was served as a set menu, but when we got the bill, we were surprised. The à la carte menu for four people cost €110, without coffee, and one of us only ate the main course. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Second courses: 3 small pieces of goulash, 1 slice of polenta, and on the same plate, 1 tablespoon of potatoes in tecia. The pork chop was thin and tough. The only thing that was worth saving was the lasagna.

15/12/2025: This is my go-to restaurant when I'm in the Cormons/Collio area; the food is good, home-cooked, with generous portions and excellent value, even with the set lunch menu. Reservations are recommended, as the clientele is always large. It's family-run, and the friendly, helpful staff are excellent.

14/10/2025: We stayed one night at this agriturismo, well-run by Samuel and his mother, who makes delicious and sublime cakes with her homemade jams. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and recently renovated, with ample parking adjacent to the property. A delicious sweet and savory breakfast is served. The owner, Samuel, is a young, enthusiastic person who loves his work. We also purchased the wine and jams, both of which are homemade. The agriturismo is well-located, in a quiet area. The center of Gorizia is about a 10-minute drive away. Highly recommended.

11/01/2026: A restaurant up in the hills of Ruttars, that makes home made style Italian food. In winter only open on weekends (phone to check). Run by very kind people, we like the atmosphere and food here and recommend it.

We tried the Rosa di Gorizia, polenta with goulash, and beef carpaccio with truffles, all delicious and flavorful. Not to mention the wide selection of wines. Thank you so much.

21/10/2025: A dream bakery, fabulous carbs! Olive, onion, pumpkin, rice bread... stuff that makes even yeast sing. The brioche buns? Elegant, whole-wheat, irresistible. And then there's the apple pie, so good and just like homemade! You come in out of curiosity and leave with a full bag and a happy heart.

30/04/2025: Cena galattica! Personale super cortese e accogliente, aperitivo di benvenuto e atmosfera tipica molto molto carina. Abbiamo preso il menù degustazione, favoloso il formaggio di fossa con cioccolato fondente, al pari dei tortelli di pane. Come secondo salame cotto con aceto e cipolle. Per finire l'immancabile Palacinka. Vino della casa molto gradevole. Da provare di sicuro se siete a Gorizia.
