31/01/2025: I'll start by saying that it was my favorite pizzeria in the area, the pizzas were presented well (see photo) and were also very good, the service was courteous and kind and what's more they even brought you zeppolini to while away the wait. Unfortunately last time we were disappointed: the prices increased, the pizza was much smaller than last time and also the plate and there was little seasoning.

12/01/2025: Excellent place to enjoy an original Neapolitan pizza!!! The venue is simple in furnishings but functional. The staff were super friendly and very kind. Simple but effective menu with the canonical classic pizzas (but with ingredients typical of the Campania region) and with some particular pizzas (really tasty). Fairest price for what they offer!!! So this pizzeria is highly recommended!!!

11/02/2025: I was there for a working weekend, the place is wonderful and the rooms are also very beautiful and detailed. The dinner service was truly spectacular, we ate very well, breakfast was not well served with little choice. The problem with this place was the water and the heating, unfortunately we had to wash ourselves with ice water several times because the boiler only supported 3 hot showers, not to mention the heating was very cold, furthermore there is little privacy between the rooms because you can hear the conversations of the rooms next door...

05/10/2024: As soon as we arrived from Bologna we couldn't have had a better welcome in Trieste! The owners welcomed us into their restaurant with friendliness and kindness, we ate very well and ended the evening chatting about basketball with other guests. Good luck to the owner for next Monday 🤞

26/06/2024: Was there with a group, can't say much about service or prices. But the food was sensational!

06/11/2024: From the outside, this little pearl is very inconspicuous and you would probably walk past it. Inside a touch of rustic and traditional, outside a few tables. But once you order a house wine and spoil your palate with the exceptionally good food, all that is forgotten. Typical local restaurant, a bit rough but very charming, a wolf in sheep's clothing. Attention: Food is made fresh in the morning and is only available as long as there is something available.

24/09/2024: If you are looking for kindness and attention towards the customer you will not find it in this place despite the environment recalling atmospheres of other times and other ways of treating people. There's better in Trieste!

22/02/2025: The coffee is good and the choice of pastries is medium-high but this choice of the receipt at the cash register before consumption is annoying in my opinion also because it's not as if the coffee costs less despite not ordering at the table.

20/01/2025: Dopo aver visitato il borgo ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questa locanda. Per antipasto prosciutto crudo eccellente e stracciatella. Per primo tagliatelle dello chef con verdure e speck croccante, a seguire stinco di vitello e patate. Veramente tutto ottimo. Servizio eccellente, tanta cortesia. Assolutamente consigliato

31/12/2024: locale vicino al comune ottima la cioccolata e lo strudel il caffè è stato fatto corretto anche se non chiesto ma era ottimo. Posto da tornarci

01/01/2025: 6 of us ate for New Year's Eve dinner. Nice atmosphere, food (fish) quite good, service only discreet as at midnight we were expecting at least a panettone and a bottle of prosecco, but when asked they told us they didn't have any. For the bill (€80.00 per person) we had to go and look for the owner who, among other things, didn't even give us the receipt. I'm sorry but we won't be back again

12/01/2025: Traditional dishes are strongly linked to the land and place, as are the wines in the heart of Collio in the municipality of Prepotto, home of the schioppettino.

01/12/2024: I have been to the wooden house twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. I recommend it during the day to appreciate the location and the view more. The restaurant offers typical Friulian dishes. The frico is very good.

16/01/2025: 12 euros for 1 carafe of wine on tap seems like theft to me. To be forgotten as a restaurant for workers. Without a menu they ask me for the surcharge for the wine and the correct coffee and they charge me extra water. Never again

23/12/2024: We came to this restaurant with high expectations and ordered the carbonara, a dish we have tasted in many other places. However, we were surprised that the flavor was dominated by a burnt aftertaste, probably due to the bacon, which was overcooked. When we shared our observation, the cook explained that this is how he prepares the dish and that the bacon was "crispy". We understand that each chef has their own style, but this interpretation did not align with our previous experiences with this Italian classic. Other than that, the service was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming. We recommend this place to those looking for something different, but perhaps carbonara is not for everyone.
