23/08/2025: They didn’t let us in because the kids wore swim shorts. Yeah, this is a beach restaurant

22/08/2025: Absolutely not worth a visit! Rude and arrogant staff. After ordering (steak and baby squid), the food was served cold. After a polite complaint and a request that our food be served hot, especially the steak and grilled dishes, the head chef came to the table and completely lost it, raging and shouting. There was no apology, nothing! We will never come back! I have never experienced such aggression and behavior before!

16/01/2026: A historic restaurant in Lignano, a true gem. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, both indoors and out, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Traditional, carefully prepared cuisine, with seafood dishes and pizzas prepared with quality ingredients and authentic flavors. Generous portions and beautifully presented. The friendly, professional, and always helpful staff make you feel right at home. Excellent value. I always love returning and recommend it without hesitation.

19/12/2025: Terrible food, terrible service, a place not to go...73 euros for crappy food...

09/04/2026: The experience was good, but not great. I think the heating in my room was broken because it was constantly between 27 and 29 degrees Celsius, despite notifying the front desk. It was impossible to sleep in this heat. Otherwise, the room was good. The staff were very kind (and handsome, too), but the food wasn't the best. Finally, as for the location, I'd give this one a 3 because it's modern but a complete maze.

08/04/2026: The rooms are nice, but there was mold on the bathroom wall, causing an unpleasant odor in the room. The staff didn't enforce quiet hours, and screaming children were running around the hallway until midnight.

31/10/2025: I stopped by to eat a pizza and I found kind people who welcomed me well I felt at home very polite and good pizza 🍕 prepared to order by the pizza chef Michele and obviously a hug to all the staff who on this Halloween evening managed everything well a big hug from Michele and obviously I will return

22/11/2025: Very nice restaurant, great atmosphere. Typical Triestine dishes. Good location. Easily accessible by tram line 6 from Trieste.

01/10/2025: A typical Trieste buffet, featuring traditional local dishes. Ideal for a quick snack, a business lunch, or an after-work aperitif. Recommended are the homemade "liptauer" and the bread dumplings with goulash. Prices vary, of course, depending on the type of food (a quick but tasty snack or a more traditional lunch), but they're always reasonable.

21/03/2026: A place with great but untapped potential. A bit neglected and casually run. Great location, but the management should be replaced. The current crew acts as if they have to, rather than want to. Everything seems to be there, but the quality is very poor.

09/03/2026: Beautiful setting and panoramic views, cheap, cheap toast, and very expensive sandwiches. Everything is possible in the mountains, but the bathroom doors haven't closed for years, and the lack of cleanliness in the restrooms, make even one star seem excessive. The bathrooms are a place's trademark. Assign someone to clean them more often and fix the doors!

01/02/2026: I attended two events with DJ Max. They were really great evenings, with excellent management, a buffet offered, and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back.

26/01/2026: I am extremely happy to respond to the owner's reply: 1) just look at how many negative reviews there are to understand that it is a place to avoid, unfortunately we did not do this check beforehand and we were wrong 2) I reiterate that they were 3 bitters and two waters but perhaps the owner self-provided an bitter, so he charged 4: this is the only explanation!!

25/08/2025: We went twice for breakfast in this cafe. They prepared for us boiled eggs, which is very special since in Italy are more common the sweet choices for breakfast. The service was sweet. Convenient prices. No ambiance since that road is pretty busy.

05/04/2026: We ordered all the diskettes, pizza, and tartare, as well as drinks. They told us that desserts aren't a meal for five people; we have to order one main course. Terrible place!

13/02/2026: Roman pan pizza should be thick. HERE I ATE A CARDBOARD PIZZA BASE THAT WAS 1/2 CM THICK... and for a price that wasn't the same. I understand why, of all the restaurants in the area, it has the fewest customers...

22/12/2025: It's heartbreaking to see what was probably the best restaurant in Udine 20 years ago. The menu is stripped down to the bare minimum, the beer stale, water leaking from the ceiling, and the place is in shambles.

27/02/2026: My mother and I went in for a quiet aperitivo at this bar we'd frequented before without any problems. We ordered two Aperol Spritzes, a simple request that turned into a decidedly unpleasant situation. The waitress (she had a foreign accent, but I don't remember what she looked like) immediately became unfriendly and rather judgmental. When I specified that a Spritz was for me, she began making unresolved comments and sentences ("Uh...", "Yes, I understand, but..."), clearly implying she didn't believe I was of age, all in an arrogant and unprofessional tone. Finally, I grew impatient and showed her my ID, which confirmed that I was of age. No apology for the misunderstanding; on the contrary, an inappropriate comment along the lines of "You don't look like one, you know, you're small," was definitely avoidable. It's fair to check, but not in this arrogant and pedantic way. The Spritz was quite strong, but overall good, and the price was a bit high for me. When you go to a bar, however, you expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, not questioned or judged. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the staff's attitude really makes the difference.

01/02/2026: We asked for herbal tea, and no, they only have tea. So, a hot chocolate, yes, but cold. The kind from the vending machine that spins!!!???!! And 6 euros?!!?!! How incredibly sad!!
