18/11/2025: I happened to be at this place last summer to call back some people from a group because our bus was leaving. I didn't have time to order, but since one person still had to use the restroom, I figured I could use it too, especially since several of our group had already consumed several drinks. I was rudely and arrogantly called back, "Where are you going?" I thanked them for their rudeness.

10/12/2025: What can I say? The food was good. Unfortunately, the downside was the price, agreed upon for a dinner for 12 with a fixed menu: 50/55 euros, plus drinks.
We paid 100 euros each, drinking the house wine.
I asked for an explanation, but despite the embarrassment, I didn't get one.
Perhaps by ordering from the menu, they can't inflate the bill.
I'm sorry, but I won't go there again.
10/12/2025: Pre-Christmas dinner with friends, very satisfying food and service, but with a bittersweet ending.
We agreed well in advance on a €50 fixed menu excluding drinks and desserts. No one asked for more. The final bill rose to €100. We immediately asked for clarification, but the owner couldn't clarify the surcharge; in fact, he even imposed the payment method! Embarrassing, to say the least, and dishonest for the customers.

24/02/2026: We've been here several times in the past after hiking in the adjacent Bosco Romagno nature park, and I remember always eating and drinking very well. The road to get there from the main road is gravel, and the descent to the farmhouse is quite steep, but manageable. It offers a fantastic view of the eastern hills of Friuli, the so-called Collio, nestled among parks, woods, and vineyards. Highly recommended. We'll be back soon to enjoy the food, wine, and drinks.

02/09/2025: Anyone vacationing in these apartments will inevitably have to resort to self-service. The prices for a small seafood salad (€16) are quite high. Pizza (Neapolitan style, with its thick crust) costs €10-12.

Riguardo a quanto degustato: tortellino al montasio sublimi,frittatata alle erbe senza rivali ,gulash eccezionale....porzioni a dir poco abbondanti
Non potevamo chiedere di meglio,unico rimpianto non poterci tornare fino ad agosto

26/03/2026: So I ordered a pizza over the phone, first of all I got a very, very rude response. I asked for information about the ingredients and the lady responded as if she were annoyed and in a very unpleasant way. I went to collect the pizza and asked if it was possible to cut it, but the response was also curt. The pizza was already cold, too much mozzarella in my opinion, which I was very disappointed with because I wasn't expecting it.

15/03/2026: We had dinner for the tasting menu featuring Rosa di Gorizia. The restaurant is retro yet elegant and welcoming. The menu was excellent and the wine pairings interesting. The service was attentive and attentive throughout the dinner, but never too intrusive.
Special mention goes to the dessert with its matching cocktail, a truly memorable finale. Congratulations!

18/11/2025: I recently visited the Pilsner Urquell pub in Udine, Italy, and was quite disappointed. Initially, I ordered a large beer, but was served a standard-sized portion in a wine glass—about 0.3 liters. When I ordered another one, I did receive a larger size, but the waiter didn’t inform me that they had changed the type of beer. This lack of transparency was quite frustrating. Overall, it was not the experience I was hoping for.
01/08/2025: A great place to be, the welcome is excellent, and the regulars are very friendly! I was there alone, but I didn't stay long.

26/08/2025: We only had lunch at the restaurant, not the hotel. The food was good (recommended fried food and desserts), but it was a shame about the high bill (a salad cost €14) and the difficulty in finding the prices of the dishes (the explanation was verbal, without a paper menu to consult).
20/08/2025: A pathetic restaurant, mediocre dishes based on frozen fish and exorbitant prices, to be avoided like the plague

18/01/2026: A location with a breathtaking view, a well-maintained atmosphere. Homemade, excellently prepared products. Good service. What can I say? If you're visiting the Sanctuary of Castelmonte (UD), this warm and welcoming osteria/bar is worth a visit.
