28/04/2026: Conveniently located, the property is spacious and very charming. The furnishings, upholstery, and curtains are old-fashioned. The cleanliness needs a thorough overhaul, lacking in many areas, from the ceilings and floors to the ensuite bathroom and the breakfast room. Months of cobwebs, carpets in the hallways likely never washed, and faucets and toilets in serious need of sanitization (the bathroom sliding doors need to be closed and cleaned on the inside, too). The young, friendly reception staff were friendly. Peace and quiet at night. I should add that the price paid was absolutely fair; in fact, I'd say it was competitive compared to the hotel's offerings and the competition. Rating: 7.5

12/10/2025: You just have to close. After two mediocre ice creams, you can't tell the customer, "Sorry, the bathroom isn't working." The law requires bar or restaurant owners to provide up-to-date, functioning restrooms and make them available to customers (as well as staff), in compliance with, among other things, the general hygiene regulations of the various municipal administrations.

27/06/2026: Beautiful spot on the beach, overlooking the lighthouse. The bar prices are lower than those in some places on the main avenue, the atmosphere is priceless, and the cocktails are well-made! Recommended for breakfast too! The staff is young, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant offers a good value for money; everything is very good, with generous portions and gluten-free options. We returned to this beautiful restaurant for dinner again this year, and I still don't understand the negative reviews. This place is a cut above the rest of the restaurants in Lignano Sabbiadoro. The prices are slightly higher than those on the main avenue, but the quality of the food and service is much, much higher, not to mention the unique atmosphere! Very good, we'll definitely be back! We'll definitely be back!

20/06/2026: A beautiful little restaurant by the sea, adjacent to the port and a small public beach. We didn't have the chance to try the restaurant, but we had the immense pleasure of trying the aperitif. The staff was very courteous and professional; I especially thank Sebastian for his great friendliness and expertise behind the bar!

15/02/2026: Unfortunately I have to add to other negative experiences. Very kind staff but unfortunately without the slightest preparation. The menu list is already sparse, we order for 4 and they don't have 4 dishes in the kitchen, crazy! We almost have to make do with what is "left in the fridge" and it's Saturday evening, Valentine's Day! Biblical waiting times, portions that wouldn't even feed a 1-year-old child, to satisfy our hunger we order the puntarelle which they tell us they have plenty of but unfortunately they didn't bring it to us 😱. Terrible wine! All desserts obviously from the freezer. Finally at the checkout, 5-star restaurant prices! We feel robbed and scammed! A TERRIBLE experience!!

24/01/2026: Worst dinner of my life. It's hard to list all the negative things that happened during the evening. The wait staff does their best; I don't blame the girls, but whoever sent them into the fray without teaching them the ropes. Of all the dishes we ordered (6 people, 2 dishes each), 2 were edible. Both the meat and fish tartare were insignificant, the cacio e pepe pasta was clearly reheated, the gnocchi with mussels and saffron were floating in a primordial broth, the octopus and burrata had an ambiguous smell, and the radicchio risotto was so tasteless it tasted like oatmeal and water. The Roman-style artichokes, which were passed off as a side dish, turned out to be artichokes in vinegar, which was frankly unacceptable. I hate to write negative reviews, but I think it's a matter of fairness towards future diners. The only positive note: the risotto and artichokes weren't included in the price. Paid 36 euros each with 1 bottle of wine and 4 proseccos.

The setting is authentic and well-kept, ideal for those who want to unwind and enjoy nature. The dishes are excellent, carefully prepared and featuring authentic flavors of local tradition. Each dish was a pleasant discovery, accompanied by a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere. The tranquility that reigns throughout lunch makes it even more enjoyable. A place I highly recommend to anyone looking for good food, enchanting views, and the utmost relaxation.

28/07/2026: I went with my family last night for a unique and typical Trieste experience. We had a wonderful time, with a platter of excellent cheeses and cured meats. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was intimate and family-friendly, and the quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended!

29/06/2026: Beautiful location and everything good

15/06/2026: A large bar with a wide selection of products and military insignia. They also sell cigarettes. The staff is quite fast but never smiles; they seem unhappy with serving customers, only chatting with a few regulars. Coffee is reasonably priced. They're 200 meters from the Shrine.

26/04/2026: Located a short distance from the Resipuglia shrine, it offers excellent sandwiches with good products, as well as selling tobacco and military items!

24/07/2026: Pleasant atmosphere right next to the Basilica of Aqvileia. We had a tuna salad, which was okay, and a chicken schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was obviously made from processed meat and was extremely disappointing.

05/04/2026: Um, if I order a vegetarian sandwich, paying a supplement of €1.50 doesn't seem right to me. How can a vegetarian sandwich cost more than a San Daniele? It's the usual story of stealing from customers, but sometimes it always makes a difference.

20/06/2026: Attracted by the many positive reviews, we chose this place, but we were very disappointed. Beautiful view, but exorbitant prices compared to the competition (minimal mixed platter). I wouldn't recommend this place.

08/08/2026: Truly one of the best gelatos ever. Aside from the price (normal, actually a little lower), they have AMAZING flavors. I had the fig and grape, truly DELICIOUS. My friends had the granitas, which were creamy and thirst-quenching. If you're passing through San Daniele, you absolutely have to stop by. Yum! 😋
