30/06/2026: Extremely hot place... The air conditioning... Turned on at the moment.... Pizza arrived after 40 minutes (we were the only ones in the room) the light didn't work (rechargeable light bulbs were placed on the table at the end of the dinner) well.... I was very disappointed....

30/06/2026: You come in for dinner during this period... AIR CONDITIONING OFF... lights practically dim (they seemed like those in burial niches) with 4 people present for 40 minutes for 4 pizzas... and other scenes that are better to avoid writing... no really, managing a place like this is better to close

07/06/2026: I wanted to surprise my parents. They'd heard good things about the new management, so I booked. I'd asked to sit on the terrace, and they did. After a while, my mom was cold, so I asked to go inside, even though we'd already started dinner. The staff, with a kindness that seems increasingly rare these days, seated us inside... perhaps it took a little longer, but in a fabulous location and in good company, you're happy to wait... The food is all freshly made, and the ingredients are of great quality. The limoncello and licorice offered at the end of the dinner make you go home wanting to come back.

02/06/2026: Unfortunately, the old Open is now a distant memory. The food, service, and quality have dropped dramatically, while the prices have risen. We were very disappointed and won't be returning. It's a shame because the location is truly a gem!

24/05/2026: After cleansing my spirit, I thought I'd indulge my body as well, so I stopped at the tavern. I ordered a glass of white wine, but when it arrived, the color alone didn't convince me, and then when I tasted it...oxidized. What a shame.

22/07/2025: Attracted by an event organized as "Paella and Sangria," four of us attended; the food was satisfactory, but when it came time to pay, we were in for a surprise: the advertised price of 20 euros per person, including sangria, had risen to 25 euros, a 25% increase. A protest email requesting compensation for the amount unduly paid went unanswered, with neither a refund nor any form of justification. I'd say it was two visits in one, the first and the last. Attached is the webpage with the offer and the corresponding receipt.

28/04/2026: Conveniently located, the property is spacious and very charming. The furnishings, upholstery, and curtains are old-fashioned. The cleanliness needs a thorough overhaul, lacking in many areas, from the ceilings and floors to the ensuite bathroom and the breakfast room. Months of cobwebs, carpets in the hallways likely never washed, and faucets and toilets in serious need of sanitization (the bathroom sliding doors need to be closed and cleaned on the inside, too). The young, friendly reception staff were friendly. Peace and quiet at night. I should add that the price paid was absolutely fair; in fact, I'd say it was competitive compared to the hotel's offerings and the competition. Rating: 7.5

27/06/2026: Beautiful spot on the beach, overlooking the lighthouse. The bar prices are lower than those in some places on the main avenue, the atmosphere is priceless, and the cocktails are well-made! Recommended for breakfast too! The staff is young, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant offers a good value for money; everything is very good, with generous portions and gluten-free options. We returned to this beautiful restaurant for dinner again this year, and I still don't understand the negative reviews. This place is a cut above the rest of the restaurants in Lignano Sabbiadoro. The prices are slightly higher than those on the main avenue, but the quality of the food and service is much, much higher, not to mention the unique atmosphere! Very good, we'll definitely be back! We'll definitely be back!

20/06/2026: A beautiful little restaurant by the sea, adjacent to the port and a small public beach. We didn't have the chance to try the restaurant, but we had the immense pleasure of trying the aperitif. The staff was very courteous and professional; I especially thank Sebastian for his great friendliness and expertise behind the bar!

12/10/2025: You just have to close. After two mediocre ice creams, you can't tell the customer, "Sorry, the bathroom isn't working." The law requires bar or restaurant owners to provide up-to-date, functioning restrooms and make them available to customers (as well as staff), in compliance with, among other things, the general hygiene regulations of the various municipal administrations.

08/09/2025: Beautiful place, good price and nice service

15/02/2026: Unfortunately I have to add to other negative experiences. Very kind staff but unfortunately without the slightest preparation. The menu list is already sparse, we order for 4 and they don't have 4 dishes in the kitchen, crazy! We almost have to make do with what is "left in the fridge" and it's Saturday evening, Valentine's Day! Biblical waiting times, portions that wouldn't even feed a 1-year-old child, to satisfy our hunger we order the puntarelle which they tell us they have plenty of but unfortunately they didn't bring it to us 😱. Terrible wine! All desserts obviously from the freezer. Finally at the checkout, 5-star restaurant prices! We feel robbed and scammed! A TERRIBLE experience!!

24/01/2026: Worst dinner of my life. It's hard to list all the negative things that happened during the evening. The wait staff does their best; I don't blame the girls, but whoever sent them into the fray without teaching them the ropes. Of all the dishes we ordered (6 people, 2 dishes each), 2 were edible. Both the meat and fish tartare were insignificant, the cacio e pepe pasta was clearly reheated, the gnocchi with mussels and saffron were floating in a primordial broth, the octopus and burrata had an ambiguous smell, and the radicchio risotto was so tasteless it tasted like oatmeal and water. The Roman-style artichokes, which were passed off as a side dish, turned out to be artichokes in vinegar, which was frankly unacceptable. I hate to write negative reviews, but I think it's a matter of fairness towards future diners. The only positive note: the risotto and artichokes weren't included in the price. Paid 36 euros each with 1 bottle of wine and 4 proseccos.

25/08/2025: A disappointment. The scallops au gratin were three half-scallops, a bit of breadcrumbs on top, and no seasoning whatsoever. The ravioli, which were supposed to have shrimp sauce, were instead filled with cherry tomatoes and zucchini (if I order one thing, I don't see why something completely different should arrive). The desserts (obviously packaged) were dry. The service was questionable; four waitresses twiddling their thumbs, the dining room with only a few tables occupied, and they couldn't even bring the dishes more or less all at once. On top of that, you had to wait forever for everything, be it a piece of bread or a coffee. The bill... exorbitantly high. There were at least three people in the dining room, two brunettes and a pseudo-blonde, one of whom spoke rather broken Italian. If the desserts are homemade, I'm Santa Claus. Besides, those were the least of the problem, since they tasted good anyway. 🤣 Anyone who had a bad experience and had the courage to write about it was in the "wrong place." Luckily, you went bankrupt, or you would have had to find new answers for the reviews.

10/07/2025: Ordered at 9:20 PM on Deliveroo. At around 11 PM, I received a notification that the order had been cancelled. I called the restaurant to explain, but they didn't answer. Shame on me.

10/06/2026: The place is nice. Outdoor seating available. However when we walked in to look at the menu on the wall; curious to know what they serve; we were immediate told by the employee They had no burgers. It seems the locals think if you're American you immediately want a burger. It was disappointing to be approached this way. No suggestion of any other food selections. Just straight up we "don't have burgers"

04/03/2026: A small sandwich shop in the center of Sacile, without a lot of advertising or signs, almost anonymous. In fact, it doesn't need any of that! The sandwiches speak for themselves; they're truly flavorful and delicious. Well-cooked meatballs and crispy fries. Excellent for a quick dinner or a hearty snack. I must say, kudos!

13/06/2026: The atmosphere is very picturesque, in the worst sense of the word: shouting, confusion, and people well above the legal blood alcohol level... but it also has its flaws. In short, the place seems to have seen better days. Not exactly the ideal place for a quiet evening.

04/04/2026: Cozy atmosphere, delicious, lovingly prepared food! Super!
