10/05/2026: Sunday lunch. The restaurant was recently renovated. Very charming, it has plenty of tables, including outdoor seating, in a beautiful part of Trieste on the banks of the Canale Grande di Trieste and adjacent to Piazza Ponterosso. Inside, the atmosphere is that of an authentic South Tyrolean beer hall. The dishes are well-presented, plentiful, and at least the ones we tried were very good. The prices are overall reasonable. The menu is very varied; I'd call it a place for everyone.
02/05/2026: Pizza is okay, you can really smell the tomato sauce, the dough is hard to cut, and those knives aren't for that dough either... we had mixed with anchovies and gorgonzola...

03/05/2026: Very good staff in the service Area, food was very good. The one female waitres redhaired was very friendly and gave us such a super service. Unfortunately we waited for the pizza more than 45 minutes.
Kitchen staff was to slow.

12/12/2025: Taca Boton is where we celebrated my daughter's first communion, New Year's Eve, and various other celebrations. The place is beautiful and, above all, welcoming. You feel very relaxed, and I've always seen everyone feel good and have fun. Everything is very well-kept, yet it feels almost natural. Beautiful.

Giorgio, Capo Dolores's husband, with his kindness and friendliness, is another reason why it's always worth visiting.

29/03/2026: A place where Udine seems to return to its roots. Away from the chaotic city life, the atmosphere offers a welcome escape from the social complexities, with the pleasant sound of running water outside and the comfortable, friendly service of the staff inside. The food is carefully selected, and the menu is modest in choice but extremely high in quality. And I really appreciate that. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

07/06/2026: We were here with a group. Ordering drinks was quick. Ordering food, however, wasn't so smooth. Tables that ordered long after us received their food before we did. Something must have gone wrong in the kitchen.
The payment process was a disaster. An older woman, who was very friendly though, was at the till and had to make at least five clicks on the computer for a single dish. This took forever, as there were at least 20 people waiting in line at the time.
This could easily be managed with multiple terminals...
