13/05/2026: A good, understated trattoria with a few dishes but well-executed, especially the Ljubljanska, which is truly delicious. Unfortunately, only a couple of dishes are suitable for celiacs, but still better than nothing. Dogs are welcome.

20/05/2026: We went with 13 people. After calling and making a reservation, requesting to arrive before 7:30 PM (it was a Thursday in May), once we arrived, we still hadn't been seated. They insistently asked us what wine to bring. We still didn't know what to eat... I should point out that the place was practically empty. I had a mixed fried fish, which was good; the others told me the fish wasn't that great.

13/05/2026: We were there on our last vacation. Like many others, we chose this restaurant despite the mixed reviews. Unfortunately, it was a disaster. The service was incredibly unfriendly... and the food... My husband had to endure mussels with a delicious bit of sand in them. My meat was as tough as shoe leather. We decided to skip the main courses, tried to talk to the staff, and were then insulted (in Italian). Just look at my name and you'll know what I mean 😀 We still had to pay for everything! Even the leftover food! Never again. We then went to a neighboring restaurant that we know well. The owner laughed when we told him about our experience... apparently, it's a known issue among restaurants... that Gino's service can be unpredictable.

29/03/2026: A place where Udine seems to return to its roots. Away from the chaotic city life, the atmosphere offers a welcome escape from the social complexities, with the pleasant sound of running water outside and the comfortable, friendly service of the staff inside. The food is carefully selected, and the menu is modest in choice but extremely high in quality. And I really appreciate that. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

25/12/2025: Christmas Eve, €50 per person Seafood buffet, risotto as a first course, bluefin tuna and mashed potatoes, panna cotta and dried fruit as a second course, wine and water included. The salmon was fabulous; we didn't like the tuna because it was too seasoned. Service was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable.

06/12/2025: The atmosphere is dated; we left smelling like cooking. The location is stellar, but inside, it feels like a step back in time to the '70s. As for the food, I have to say the starters and main courses were good, and the side dishes were awful... A stringy braised beef and the potatoes "in tecia" were outrageous.

01/05/2026: A nice, well-kept restaurant in the heart of Cividale. We happened to stumble upon it just as the kitchen was closing (2 PM), but they let us in anyway. The food was really good, plentiful, and made with quality ingredients. Mixed grilled fish and tagliolini paglia e fieno with San Daniele. The only downside was that one waiter made me feel embarrassed in front of some foreign guests I'd brought there to eat. As soon as he'd seated us, he came back to the counter yelling, "These guys are Spanish..." Later in the meal, after checking to see if he could start clearing the table, I sensed as he was talking about us still being there and not having finished. Finally, when it was time to order two coffees and a herbal tea, when the waitress brought the order back to the counter, the same male voice started mocking the fact that I'd asked for herbal tea and, amidst hearty laughter, greeted his colleagues by saying, "Hi, and enjoy the herbal tea!" Obviously, no offense intended, but I must say that going out to a restaurant isn't a vital need, but rather a pleasure one desires to experience, in terms of both service and food. In my case, I was showing my hometown to foreigners who speak perfect Italian. Absolutely nothing to say about the professionalism of the young waitress and the lady who I presume was the owner. I understand that working with the public isn't easy, but I don't think you should be treated like an idiot on top of paying.

27/04/2026: High prices for the quality of the food. There's no need to make spectacular dishes; I'd like to go home with the memory of good flavor. Spaghetti with clams is the ABCs of a seafood restaurant. And they don't know how to make it. Flavorless, bland.

14/05/2026: One of the best restaurants in Grado. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent cuisine, and a pizza that's simply heavenly. Highly recommended.

15/10/2025: A disappointing experience in every way. The restaurant displays symbols and images that openly recall fascism—a deeply inappropriate and offensive choice, as well as contrary to democratic values. The staff, mostly inexperienced seasonal workers, does their best but is clearly left without adequate guidance. In summer, the heat and humidity inside make it stifling, while outside you're literally beset by mosquitoes. The food quality is questionable, and the prices are average but not justified. I don't recommend this place, both for its atmosphere and the message it conveys.

06/10/2025: This restaurant also offers a workers' lunch menu at reasonable prices. Very fast service, perfect for those looking for a quick meal without wasting too much time. Also open on Mondays for lunch. Advance reservations recommended. Often full.

11/12/2025: A trattoria specializing in game and local produce, home-cooked meals are served fresh, with a selection of high-quality and specialty wines, complemented by homemade liqueurs and spirits. Service is prompt and the atmosphere is inviting.

27/04/2026: The food is high-quality, nothing to complain about. The peace is excellent, exquisite, and the fillet is incredibly tender. Medium-high restaurant prices, including just a first course, a second course, two glasses of wine, water, and a coffee, are €56. It's definitely worth a try if your budget is within your range. The dining room is small and noisy; voices echo, leaving you feeling a bit dazed. It's best to choose a quieter evening.

02/05/2026: Used only for catering, it also offers room service. The food, especially the sandwiches, is high-quality, with a wide selection and excellent beers. The service is impeccable, with all the staff being very helpful and courteous. Worth it! PS. It offers service and a dedicated area for grilling meats! Must try!

23/10/2025: I'm not sure if FeFood has anything to do with the kebab-pizza joint it shares a corner with. In any case, we only tried the Poke. I don't know what's worse: the service and the attitude of the waiter, or the sour, expired food. It's obviously not a controlled chain, but a fast food restaurant that also serves raw fish, so it's a cause for concern: the taste and smell of what we tried (and didn't finish) was disturbing. Prices... well, like all Poke restaurants, a rip-off! A small bowl half full of rice and half empty of change, 13 euros: that's enough for pizza and beer.
