08/11/2025: The frico and tagliatelle were amazing. The wine was good, and the service was courteous and friendly. Just one comment... the yellowing on the walls spoils the lovely rustic atmosphere.
16/10/2025: Dated restaurant with a family atmosphere. The duck with tagliatelle was excellent, but the second course left much to be desired. It was swimming in oil and very fatty. The baked potatoes were overcooked. The bill was a bit high given the quality of the second course. Good service. Thanks to the waitress, SARA.

08/12/2025: We chose the boiled meat menu for 25 euros per person, including two types of first course. Instead of ravioli in broth, we received tortellini, almost raw. The broth was good, the boiled meat was a disappointment. Instead of cotechino, it was, in our opinion, salami, unforgivable. The parmesan and the flavor were anything but cotechino. The green sauce was salty, and half a carrot was like boiled vegetables. Certain traditional dishes require skill in cooking. You can serve a dish like that to tourists, but not to Friulians. It's a joke, given the price paid, almost 60 euros for 2. The guy who served us was good. We won't be returning.

29/11/2025: I discovered a pizzeria near my house when I moved to the neighborhood... I always ordered takeout, and for a while the service was top-notch, always fast and punctual, the staff were all kind and friendly, and the pizza became my favorite in all of Trieste. Then, at some point, something must have changed because they never made a pizza right, either because they were missing ingredients or didn't follow the instructions in the notes (which even specified food intolerances). The first few times, I gave up, trusting that future orders would be successful. After another mistake, I called the pizzeria and spoke to a nervous woman who wasn't willing to listen or talk. She offered me a €2 refund on my next order (????). Instead, I asked for the pizza to be remade and returned correct, since it wasn't the first time this had happened, and I was even asked to return the wrong one. Yesterday I gave it one last chance...and the pizza arrived wrong once again...as much as I'm sorry, it's clear I won't order again.
24/10/2025: The national pizzeria on Via Campanelle! The pizzas are super good and light, and everyone is super friendly.

27/10/2025: Very good pizza, but there's a catch. The wait times are embarrassing. They tell you a time, and you have to wait another 40 minutes once you get there. It's always the same. After yesterday (a 48-minute wait), it'll be the last time I go there.

The experience was so delicious that it simply had to be shared: Prosciutteria IE Udine – the place where time tastes like prosciutto.
Platters that tell stories
The interior is warm and relaxed, with a rustic-modern charm. Solid wood tables, shelves lined with bottles of local wine, and the cheerful energy of the staff create the feeling that you’re having lunch at a friend’s home — an Italian friend who knows how to slice prosciutto so thin it practically dances on your tongue.
The stars of the show are, of course, the prosciutto crudo platters: silky slices, perfectly aged, with an intense aroma, served alongside artisanal cheeses, olives, and crispy bread. 09/11/2025: Let me start by saying we had a wonderful meal! The food was excellent, high-quality, from the appetizers to the coffee. The atmosphere is refined, modern, and pleasant. The only downside is the service. I think (and hope!) it was an isolated incident, probably because the kitchen was understaffed... the fact is, we waited at least 20 minutes before ordering and over an hour before eating! We asked for a second bread basket to stave off hunger... it seemed like they were serving the tables in random order, not by arrival; the tables next to ours were served before us, but those people arrived at least 40 minutes after us! As for desserts (a long wait for those too!), there's no list; they're listed by the staff, but they gave different versions: according to our waitress, today there were only millefeuille, chocolate cake, and lemon sorbet left. The waitress at the next table also listed vanilla ice cream, green apple ice cream, and affogato with whatever you wanted... perhaps a list would be enough... and finally, the price was in line with other restaurants in the center of Grado. Hoping it was just an unlucky day, I highly recommend it for the excellent food.
18/10/2025: We've been coming to Grado for 20 years, including this restaurant! Unfortunately, things are going downhill pretty quickly. Yesterday, the food wasn't as good as usual! The second course was cold, but the manager doesn't care! For €120 for two people, I expect a bit more quality! Sorry! It's been much better!

05/09/2025: It was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was fantastic. A cozy old farmhouse has been converted into a cozy place where you can even stay overnight. The garden is beautiful, the tables and chairs are new, and everything is great. The service is very friendly. The food is everything that's produced on the farm. The prices are absolutely fantastic. For three people, including drinks, it came to just under €50, very reasonable. I highly recommend it. I'd gladly go back anytime.
