26/01/2026: €19 for 4 hot chocolates and 2 creams Prices are displayed as per the photo. You need 10/10 eyesight to read them. The hot chocolates were average, but the wait was endless. Nice girl, but another one didn't even look at us. Oh well.

09/04/2026: We've been waiting for the renovation to be completed for a while so we can go back to eating the delicious pizza... Well, it was a total disappointment. The place was half-empty because we were early, and they made us sit at a table in a horrible position, suffering from constant blasts of cold air coming from the door that was always left open. 🤷‍♂️ It's not difficult to close it since there's a lot of staff and the cash register is in front, the pizza counter is like a master chef, with uniforms and antics, and the owner's wife becoming a guest (I always find it very wrong for a restaurateur to sit at the table with customers and party with them), the staff is not very polite, and the pizza... was much better before. It's a shame to lose a reference pizzeria in the area; it's unwelcoming, noisy, and unnecessarily expensive.

12/12/2025: Taca Boton is where we celebrated my daughter's first communion, New Year's Eve, and various other celebrations. The place is beautiful and, above all, welcoming. You feel very relaxed, and I've always seen everyone feel good and have fun. Everything is very well-kept, yet it feels almost natural. Beautiful.

08/12/2025: A place that, as usual, always provides a special feeling as soon as you step inside. Giorgio, Capo Dolores's husband, with his kindness and friendliness, is another reason why it's always worth visiting.

15/04/2026: Honestly, the place isn't bad, and the service is good. The only problem, however, is very serious: from what I saw, HACCP standards don't seem to be followed. I ordered a pizza with burrata, and unfortunately, it was clearly spoiled. I mention this because, after eating less than half of it, I immediately felt sick and vomited it all. This place urgently needs a complete overhaul of its hygiene system. From my point of view, it's not currently a suitable place to serve customers in these conditions. Furthermore, I noticed that the pizza chefs don't wash their hands regularly, don't wear gloves, and touch various objects without any attention to hygiene. Honestly, as far as the food goes, it was a terrible experience.

07/03/2026: Ordered three pizzas, with a long wait of an hour and a half! They arrived...burnt on top and raw on the bottom! All they needed was a few more minutes in the oven!

11/03/2026: I've been there several times and I have to say, the fish is as good as I've ever eaten. I highly recommend it if you're in Trieste. It's not a big place, but it's perfect for an evening with friends or as a couple.

05/01/2026: We ate it for lunch, which was served as a set menu, but when we got the bill, we were surprised. The à la carte menu for four people cost €110, without coffee, and one of us only ate the main course. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Second courses: 3 small pieces of goulash, 1 slice of polenta, and on the same plate, 1 tablespoon of potatoes in tecia. The pork chop was thin and tough. The only thing that was worth saving was the lasagna.

20/01/2026: Christmas lunch, à la carte menu, everything excellent, attentive and friendly service, quaint but small venue, best to book. Adequate private parking is available. Also great for snacks (the cold cuts are good). Prices are reasonable for Christmas Day. Recommended.

12/12/2025: It is always a pleasure to enter the Trattoria, the manager is always very efficient, I like the place very much, I have tried the cuisine on many occasions, even important ceremonies.

08/03/2026: I'm reluctant to leave this review, after a few decidedly negative experiences, even though it was my favorite pizzeria in Udine. I have nothing to complain about the quality of the pizzas, but for some time now (perhaps a change of management), the level of service has been unacceptable in my opinion. Example from last night: I booked a table for three, and they told me the times were 7:30 PM or 9:30 PM (and therefore to vacate the table by 9:30 PM for the second sitting). We arrived at 7:30 PM, and our table (so large that, with three plates and drinks, there wasn't even room to rest an elbow) had two chairs. I waited five minutes, no one helped me, so I took a chair from another table. We ordered around 7:45 PM, and the pizzas arrived at 9:05 PM... not even a single breadstick in the meantime. The pizzas were good, but everything else was a disaster. I'm hoping for a new management change, with the same pizza chef. In the meantime, we're moving elsewhere. What a shame.

27/04/2026: A very welcoming, traditional Friulian trattoria. We went on a recommendation, and it exceeded our expectations. The dishes were generous and truly amazing; I love Friulian and border cuisine! The prices were incredibly low, but the quality was truly extraordinary. Friendliness was paramount. The atmosphere, too, beats anything! 😉

09/04/2026: I haven't eaten this well in a long time. Excellent value for money. Very friendly, family-run service. The only thing that gave us pause was the decor (posters hanging up).
