29/11/2025: I discovered a pizzeria near my house when I moved to the neighborhood... I always ordered takeout, and for a while the service was top-notch, always fast and punctual, the staff were all kind and friendly, and the pizza became my favorite in all of Trieste. Then, at some point, something must have changed because they never made a pizza right, either because they were missing ingredients or didn't follow the instructions in the notes (which even specified food intolerances). The first few times, I gave up, trusting that future orders would be successful. After another mistake, I called the pizzeria and spoke to a nervous woman who wasn't willing to listen or talk. She offered me a €2 refund on my next order (????). Instead, I asked for the pizza to be remade and returned correct, since it wasn't the first time this had happened, and I was even asked to return the wrong one. Yesterday I gave it one last chance...and the pizza arrived wrong once again...as much as I'm sorry, it's clear I won't order again.
24/10/2025: The national pizzeria on Via Campanelle! The pizzas are super good and light, and everyone is super friendly.

04/10/2025: A charming mountain hut serving high-quality local products. The mountain views are simply breathtaking, and the journey is made even more special by the presence of cows and goats along the trail, making the arrival a unique experience.
13/09/2025: What a beautiful hut with such a view. Lots of children help out during the holidays, the food is fantastic, and the prices are fair! It's a lovely place to hike up from the pass or drive up by car.

13/10/2025: A quaint restaurant with wooden furnishings, mosaic floors, and a fireplace in the center. The walls are adorned with many vintage black-and-white photos that pleasantly transport you back in time. The dishes are carefully prepared, including the delicious tagliatelle and gnocchi, both homemade, as is the frico served with fresh, not pre-cooked, polenta.
The house red wine is also good.
Prices are reasonable.
You can watch football matches in the bar area. There's also outdoor seating.
The wait staff, presumably the owners, are courteous but a bit dry.
I only gave the service 3 stars because there's no menu; the dishes are "read" by the person taking your order, so you can't take the time to decide what to eat. You don't know the ingredients (thinking of those with allergies and intolerances), and you have no idea of the prices. You're browsing in the dark, which isn't fair.
21/09/2025: This time we didn't really get it, we happened to come across this restaurant by chance, we were greeted with brusque and rude manners, but once we got over this obstacle, which one thinks was due to the large amount of customers (semi-empty place), but oh well, a bad day happens to everyone and you don't give it any weight.. after a while we sit down, and 15/20 minutes have passed, the waiter approaches and asks us what to drink and up to this point, apart from the always rough manners, we order drinks, after another 10/15, another waiter approaches and starts telling us what he can give us to eat, when I ask for a menu to understand prices and ingredients and allergens, I hear the answer here there is no menu, there is only verbal, which I find unacceptable, I think it is right to offer a customer a list, even if minimal, of the dishes with the ingredients and allergens and prices, but after a bit of chatting we trust, and we order 2 main courses and 2 side dishes, simple, the wait continues and yes It drags on until the dishes arrive, and in all this they forget a side dish, but oh well, the service is a bit hit and miss and we hope you leave soon, and continues until the end, then when it comes to paying, the icing on the cake arrives: a slightly too salty bill. We show up, and a bit exhausted by the atmosphere and the wait, we don't complain, and we can't wait to leave... It's a shame, though, that the place is rustic and nice, but I think that such service is unacceptable, and above all the lack of a menu, with 4 dishes and prices, we're not in the Middle Ages... a shame

06/05/2025: Locale molto carino, pulito e curato scovato grazie al classico passaparola. Accoglienza cordiale e simpaticissima. Ottima preparazione del personale in merito alla carta dei vini, alle materie prime e all'utilizzo delle stesse. Non essendo del posto ci siamo affidate a loro sia per la scelta dei piatti tipici locali che del vino ed era tutto eccezionale. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità prezzo. Nulla da aggiungere. Super consigliato.

01/11/2025: Pizza with a twist. The vegetable pizza was tasty, but a bit too heavily topped. There was no service and the cutlery was wooden. Maybe you could play with it in the sand, but certainly not cut a pizza.
26/10/2025: A pizza like I've never tasted before. The pizza dough wasn't anything like you'd expect. It could have been whole wheat. BUT! Extremely delicious. And I've never had a pizza with such a good topping. Points deducted for two reasons: canned or jarred mushrooms have no place on a pizza, and
Self-service is fine, but the cutlery should be reconsidered. You can't really eat a pizza well with wafer-thin wooden cutlery.
Despite everything, we would definitely come back here again.

Platters that tell stories
The interior is warm and relaxed, with a rustic-modern charm. Solid wood tables, shelves lined with bottles of local wine, and the cheerful energy of the staff create the feeling that you’re having lunch at a friend’s home — an Italian friend who knows how to slice prosciutto so thin it practically dances on your tongue.
The stars of the show are, of course, the prosciutto crudo platters: silky slices, perfectly aged, with an intense aroma, served alongside artisanal cheeses, olives, and crispy bread. 30/11/2025: Invited by friends, we reach the restaurant: after an endless search for a parking spot (a fairly common occurrence in Trieste), we find ourselves in front of the place and... from the outside, we don't really get the restaurant vibe; it looks more like a bar! Upon entering, with the counter to the right and a table and chairs to the left, we're directed into the single dining room, furnished in a homely, rustic style in some respects, with seating for about thirty. The table setting is unpretentious, the water is sparkling, but the service is friendly and pleasant from the owner, who remains a character. The menu is scrumptious, featuring mostly seafood dishes with limited options for those who aren't seafood lovers. The food is presented in a homely manner, generous, and authentic. In our case, we were served appetizers (sardoni in savor, creamed cod, hand-cut cooked ham, scallops), two first courses (pasticcio al ragù and spaghetti with shrimp tails), and two second courses (mixed fried fish and sea bream fillet), finishing with a selection of classic homemade desserts (strudel, ricotta cake with berries, Nutella crepes). The bill, while acceptable for what we ate, was above expectations.
26/11/2025: A true Trieste osteria, the atmosphere is excellent, and the owner Andrea is very helpful and friendly. The food is simple and tasty, with no "decorations on the plate." The prices are below average. We'll be back soon 👍
